Previously on "Follow Me,"

the influencers got the once-in-a-lifetime chance

to work with Skittles in a jaw-dropping challenge.

- - All right, here.

...that saw

four of our influencers

- win some cash. - The winner.

- Ha-ha! - But with elimination

on the line, each player created

a showcase post that rallied their followers

to keep them in the game.

This week, you are all safe.

- Oh, my God! -

This week, the influencers will get

a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with

the world-famous M&M's characters...

So, I'm like, O-M-G.

...someone will be eliminated from the competition.

And the person who had the lowest total votes is...

It's all happening right now on "Follow Me,"

It's getting real, and I still feel

a little deflated from losing the challenge last week.

Today, I feel ecstatic.

- Family, how's it going? - Good good good.

After my showcase post, I was a little on the sad side.

I feel like my video had a lot of technical difficulties.

I wanted it to be smooth. I really, the night before,

was thinking, like, okay, this is how I want it to look.

I know it's gonna come out this way, and when I saw it,

- I was embarrassed. - It looped, though.

- No, it-- - I showed my family my post,

my little sister saw it, and she was ecstatic.

No way.

- It's so cute. - Seeing how proud she was

that her sister was doing something amazing

and something so fancy and beautiful, like,

it has given me wings to fly.

I felt really touched, because I feel like

that's the whole point of this, is to, like,

inspire someone to, like,

share what you love to do

and find that love in someone, that it connects.

This competition is more than...

for me, it's definitely for them.

I wanna make them proud.

I mean, I feel pretty good. I wanna be honest.

I don't wanna be overly confident.

I feel nervous. Someone's gonna

be eliminated this week.

New day, new challenge, I'm ready, let's get it.

Wait, so what were you thinking for your showcase post?

Um, you know, what does my audience

or the people who are following me

- really kinda wanna know? - Mm-hm.

And it's, like, how do I get to look like you?

- Yes, yep. - 100%, 100%.

I feel like I'm really starting to get the hang of everything.

And I think that, you know, getting to know your audience,

and, you know, what does your audience respond to the most?

You gotta figure out "adapt and change"

and kind of apply it to, you know, the rest of your life.

I have a whole new level of focus, I feel confident

'cause you have to believe in yourself that

you're gonna win at all costs.

It's time for your next challenge.

So, making colorful and engaging posts are

really important, but getting to know your audience is key

when it comes to building your presence in social media.

So, in this challenge, you really need

to get to know your audience and incorporate color

to make a great post.

So, you're going to be incorporating

the world-famous M&M characters...

...and their characteristics

into a post created especially for each M&M character.

I've loved M&M's.

I think it's, like, the best movie snack.

So I'm already excited.

what are we about to get into?

Now, to help you keep this colorful,

we have anime- and fashion-inspired influencer,

with a collected social media of over one million followers,

Emily Mei, or you may know her as Emily Ghoul.

Hi, so nice to meet you guys.

- How you doing? - Thank you.

So, Emily here is going to help you guys make

a memorable post and then judge your performance

at the end of the challenge.

I am so excited when Emily Ghoul walks out on stage.

Her presence is honestly just so inviting.

She seems like she knows what she's doing

within the creator space and very confident.

So, you guys get to work with M&M's today.

- Are you excited? - Very. Very, very, very.

As you can see, we have all seven of the M&M characters.

Each one of these iconic colored characters

are very unique.

This includes Purple,

who just introduced herself to the world

this past September.

And this'll be a great opportunity

to get to know her better. So, in this challenge,

you will be assigned an M&M color.

And your task is you're gonna make a 20-second post

that is tailored to that character.

so you have to incorporate

your assigned character, of course.

No longer than 20 seconds.

And I wanna feel that there's a personal touch

and you've connected with your character.

I see eight different M&M's,

and I know it's gonna be our first individual challenge.

My eyes land on Purple partially because

her personality traits really stood out to me,

and I don't know what the challenge is,

but whatever it is, I wanna go with Purple.

Okay, I bet you guys are wondering which character

you're each gonna be paired up with.

Very much so.

We've randomly pre-selected in order,

and that person will pick their favorite M&M color,

and we'll do this until we have everybody assigned.

All right, so first up is Obé.

So, Obé, what is your favorite color?

Oh, my favorite color is Blue.

I feel great,

my favorite M&M is peanut, so I'm excited.

And next up we have Angelina.

Okay, well... this is hard,

because I really wanted to pick, you know, the green,

but I have a bestie here who likes that color,

and I really feel like their vision is coming together,

and I don't wanna stop that traction.

I'm gonna go... with Yellow,

because he is lovable, and I am lovable.

And there's other things in there that I can do.

- Let's go. - I am confident in what I got.

So, I'mma go Yellow.

- Love that. - I like the confidence.

All right, next up we got Zack.

- Aah! - Well, thank you

for not choosing the color,

but you could've totally taken it,

but I'm gonna choose Green.

I'm choosing Orange.

Which... are actually

the complete opposite traits of me.

Gonna challenge myself a little bit.

I am going to go with Purple.

I can see a lot of myself in her.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with Brown.

Um, I think her glasses are looking directly at me.

So, I feel like this is a sign to go completely with Brown.

I'm thinking I wanna get to know Ms. Purple over here.

I'm gonna pick the Red M&M because, you know,

I'm gonna take what I got, and I'm gonna make the best of it.

I'm excited to work

I'm thinking of doing a role play

with a trainer and a prospective client.

My brain's turning, I'm kind of having trouble

coming up with something, but I ended up going

with something that felt very personal to me.

Working with M&M's is honestly a dream come true.

It's one of my favorite candies ever.

I think the challenge is to keeping it interesting.

For the entire time.

But 20 seconds isn't long.

I wanted to jump into something

that I was super uncertain about.

what to expect from that; I couldn't even see

the words when I was standing over there, you know?

I'm so excited to be able

to have a great idea and execute it.

The Red M&M is based around

the character of a hero.

Someone who's self-centered.

It's about me, and I'm ready to show them.

- I like this. - I can be the hero...

that saves us all.

- Are you-- -

I knew that I was going to make a motivational video

and have sort of this transformation

as I walk outside the door and onto the stage.

Anyone can be a star, and anyone can smile and be happy.

I like this room the most.

It's where I won my last challenge,

so I'm gonna sit right here.

Oh, yeah, this is perfect.

The characteristics of Mr. Blue are

he's a keen observer. Really just quite have--

have, like, one of those frank attitudes.

Me, as a trainer, I'm always motivating, always reassuring.

Mr. Blue, I promise you, everything's gonna be all right.

You're my boy, Blue.

Film it, see what happens.

But I know that I need to start filming right away,

because time constraints have been my issue.

Let's see how long these clips are.

I run into a room, and I block myself off from everybody,

so I have no idea what anybody else is doing.

Time is definitely my weakness

and my biggest enemy right now.

I'm used to being able to take my time,

but I can't do this in this challenge.

I was able to record each letter actually pretty quickly,

but then I realized...

So I settle myself, I sit, and I get the framework done.

Okay. Turn something in.

It's not working out, so we just gonna roll with the punches.

I would say when I'm editing content,

I like to be alone. I like to focus.

Everybody's trying to do their thing.

People are moving around, and you really

can't get the kind of privacy

that you really need to kind of execute at hand.

So that's really the toughest part.

I'm over here-- "my boy, Blue"-- stressing.

I don't know if this video is challenge-winning,

but I'm hoping Bethany and Emily pick up

on the message I'm trying to get across that,

be vulnerable, to maybe not always be super-confident,

and that it's really important to take lessons

and understand your past and put that into your present.

what I know and what I do best.

And it was up to you to get to know your character

and do a post that connects with them.

I feel like my character needed to hear it.

based on, like, the traits that you were given

of-of what your M&M was going through, or is,

I thought that you represented

your assigned character very well,

Yellow, this is a love letter to you.

I-- immediately I think the that I loved

about that video was, immediately, I could see

exactly what kind of person you are, you have

such an infectious,

like, bright personality,

and immediately, from, like, the very beginning,

I could see that, and it carried all the way

throughout the video, so I was so happy.

I thought it was so cute.

All right, next up we got Obé,

and you had the Blue M&M.

Yo, Mr. Blue, what brings you into Slice Fitness today?

Well, as I walk in, I saw there are

holes in the wall, your gym is dirty,

I'm just trying to get a trainer.

I assure you, we're just having some maintenance.

Everything will be fine. You're gonna enjoy

your time here training, you're my boy, Blue.

That's what I heard.

I loved that you played

both characters very well.

Like, literally as soon as he started speaking,

I was like, ahh, I know exactly

what kind of character type both of these people are.

They will not get along. In all of your videos,

I feel like you're very, like-- you're very, very passionate.

And it includes, like, working out and all of that.

And I feel like maybe there was a little bit more

of, like, the workout aspect that you could've put in there.

I think a small detail that I really loved

was the way that you actually cut in and out of it,

so, like, the differences in the camera angles,

like, even so slightly, it kind of keeps

have to be on the nose with it, like,

you can do it in a way of comedy

or through a different form of art,

to the end, and what do they do?

So, I feel like, if we cut it on just, like, the "whee,"

like, I would've been like, oh... I wanna see that

I wanted to do a little more about me.

So my idea is to kind of

put little personality traits

of Olivia in different clips.

So... I'm showing a little bit of the comedy,

now I wanted to showcase off the musical aspect of me.

The theme is, how do you work out

when you're traveling? When you're on the road?

When you don't have a gym? Everything is pretty much shot.

So I am

a little nervous, because I knew

I wanna bring the dance.

But I'm realizing

I need to figure out, what's my message?

What am I trying to convey through my dancing?

Can you go viral just standing here?

- I feel like... - Whoa.

- would it... - You might, yeah.

- That's, yeah... - I might have

- to try that. - ...that's the fit, dude.

So I think I need to dig

a little deeper, so that I can be

more connected with my audience...

This is insane!

...and really project to them

exactly the message that I wanna share through movement.

I believe I'm bringing a totally different element

to the game; I'm bringing my modeling skills out,

I'm bringing my fashion skills out.

Just can't wait to catch my breath after this is over.

I knew that I wanna collaborate.

Um, I think a big thing for me,

coming into this competition, is that I love

working with different creatives.

- - Et cetera, I think

that's how you kind of gather the biggest audience.

I was feeling terrible about myself

and my post last week,

so I have a whole new level of focus.

I feel confident-- kinda gonna just

knock everything out and not really rush things.

Stayed up all night last night,

and, uh, trying to get this done.

It's tough on everybody, and the thing is

to see is, like, who's gonna overcome that adversity?

These challenges? Lack of sleep?

Being able to be crunched on time?

You can have all the footage you want,

but if you don't know what direction you're going into,

then, or how it's gonna look,

have to, you know, prioritize editing.

You have to plan ahead, and that's, you know,

the mentally tough ones are the ones who win in the end.

Okay, this can be my... little ice cream scene.

My strategy going into it was,

I actually did some filming last night.

I thought I would get all the filming done,

so I can just come right in here today and edit.

I said, you know what, let me just come in

and try to knock out some know shots...

Hi, welcome to the ice cream store.

no, that's not it. Go ahead.

...that, despite not using the shots

from last night, it was helpful because

I kind of knew what I wanted to do today.

I think today I filmed the fastest

that I ever have filmed in any of the challenges

or showcase posts, so I was able

to get to editing way faster.

I really want people to understand my personality

before I make other content.

So I have, like, on-set Olivia

or Cat Mom Olivia, things that really represent me.

And I hope people watch it and get my energy

and understand my personality, so they look forward

to my future videos,

which will be more tailored to them directly.

going outside the box.

On my stream at home,

I'm always singing, I'm always rapping.

That's kind of what we do.

I decided to take an instrumental track

and-and make a little song that told everybody about me

and, uh, you know, really showcased some of my skills.

so I don't have to do so much post editing.

We got our greenscreen footage, we got our audio prepared.

We're ready to just compile it all together.

First of all, can I just compliment you

on the split-screen? I don't think people know

how much behind-the-scenes work goes into it.

It's so tedious. And I love that you also

incorporated fashion and comedy.

I actually chose the edit first,

and then I decided to wake up early this morning

so I could practice so I actually filmed myself

in practice editing, and then today I came in

and shot it, and then that's the first time

I've actually ever edited that type of content.

So, for my second Showcase,

I wanted to give you guys a quick tutorial

that you can use when on the road

without a gym, no equipment at all.

Let's begin.

First, set your timer to 30 minutes.

Followed by the first exercise

being burpees,

then going into jump squats,

followed by push-ups,

then mountain climbers,

then flutter kicks,

and you repeat until the timer ends.

I think it was so cool that you created content

that could help people that maybe don't have a gym

or don't have the resources, and so I think it's great

that you're sharing your knowledge with everybody.

- It's incredible. - I think I had kind of, like,

a crash course in editing, and I kind of had

no sleep, I put my head down

and just got to work, and, uh,

I'm very happy with the product that I put out.

So, first off, I love the outfit transitions.

I thought that was super-fun, and, like, the dance move

end-finishing, you guys? Like, what, that looked so hard.

So, having Olivia in your showcase post,

what kind of made you go with that decision?

Yeah, I'm all about collaborating

with other creatives and stuff like that.

I think, you know, we're good at bouncing other ideas

kind of off of our heads, and I think

two minds are smarter than one, and you know,

that was the finished product, so I'm happy with it.

Nice, so Eric, I have some news,

and I'm sorry to say that you are

in the bottom half of the competition this week.

The evolution of a college student

during exam season.

I think everyone can relate

to procrastination, and I love that

you did it in, like, such a fun and relatable way

that was true to you.

because that is exactly what I was going for.

Um, and a big part of my life was, you know,

university, so I wanted to base it off of that

and make it relatable, so, yeah, thank you.

Amazing, well, Julia, it looks like

you're building some momentum in this competition,

And one of you will be in the top half and be safe,

Sure, which flavor? Oh, I don't know.

Well, they're on the menu up here,

'cause usually the customer decides what they want.

You have a goat cheese flavor?

Yeah, that one's pretty weird, but we also have vanilla,

chocolate, some normal ones.

I guess the goat cheese is fine.

You sure? You don't have to get it.

No, it's okay. Okay.

Here's your goat cheese ice cream.

I love that you've used these concepts of,

like, that are real things,

that, like, real people can relate to this,

and there's all different types of people,

and I love that you incorporate

different personality types.

The weird experiences

that we may go through and see in life

and make a comedy bit out of it.

I think that's so cool. How do you feel

- about your post this week? - For this video,

I was inspired by the fact that

I quit my corporate job earlier after five years,

'cause I wanted to pursue this career field.

And it didn't pop off, as I thought it would,

so I needed something to pay the bills,

so right now I am scooping ice cream part time,

so I have new story times to bring,

and so that's kind of what brought about this video.

Amazing, well, I think you did a great job.

- Thank you. - Okay, well, Jacy,

Olivia, it's time to find out who will be in the bottom half,

and who is in the top half of the competition.

Jacy, the voters must've thought

you did something very engaging,

because you are in the top half.

that two of you are still in the competition.

And the two who are still playing

Which means Obé and Olivia,

one of you will be eliminated from the competition for now.

And the person who had the lowest total votes

from the VersusGame community

in this week's competition is...

Obé.

That means, Olivia, you are safe

and still in the competition.

Now, Obé, even though you're eliminated,

there's still a chance for you to get back in the game.

Moving forward, you'll still be able

to participate in the challenges,

but, for now, we will not see you doing any showcase posts.

But, hey, for our season finale,

one of our eliminated players

will be voted back in to the competition.

And one of you will become

the "Follow Me" Season One champion

and walk out of here $50,000 richer.
