It helps me and my friends see things

far away in outer space.

Do you want to see what's in outer space?

[June] Ooh, I see planets.

[Quincy] I see comets!

[Leo] I see...

something very strange.

Hmm. I wonder what it is.

It has legs and arms

and lots of lights and buttons.

What is it?

[gasps] A robot! Yes.

[synthesizer playing "Rondeau"]

Oh! Listen.

The robot plays a special song.

[Annie] He's a music robot.

[beeping]

Whoa! He's flying!

Music Robot has three special batteries

that give him flying power.

They're flying batteries.

[playing "Rondeau"]

He's flying past the moon.

He's flying through the stars.

He's flying home to that planet.

Whoa! It's a planet full of music robots.

That must be his home.

[bass drum plays]

Uh-oh. That sounds like trouble!

I hear space rocks... meteors!

Where are the meteors?

Yes! There they are.

Oh, no! It's a meteor shower.

And it's headed straight for Planet Robot!

His home is in trouble.

[Annie] Look, look, look.

Music Robot is protecting his home.

[Leo] He's backing the meteors
away with his extendo-arms.

[Quincy] Go, Music Robot!

[June] You're so brave.

[Leo] Uh-oh.

But the last meteor bumped Music Robot
right in the flying batteries!

[gasps] What happened
to the three flying batteries?

Yes! They fell out of Music Robot's tummy.

[Annie] And now they're falling
far, far away.

[Quincy] But Music Robot can't fly
without his flying batteries.

Oh, no! He's falling down to Earth!

Good thing he has a parachute.

I wonder where Music Robot landed.

Do you see where Music Robot landed?

Where is he?

-[beeping]
-[gasps]

Yes, he landed in the tree
in our backyard!

[clicking]

Music Robot, are you ok?

[synthesizer plays]

Whew!

We were worried about you.

My name is June and these are my friends.

[synthesizer plays]

Hi, Music Robot.

Nice to meet you.

[synthesizer plays]

Oh.

Music Robot says
he wants to go back home to outer space.

[low-pitched whirring]

[Annie] Look! He's trying to fly home.

But he can't do it.

[Leo] That's because
his three flying batteries

fell out when the meteor hit.

[synthesizer plays]

Aw, poor Music Robot.

He really misses his home.

Don't worry, Music Robot.

We'll help you find your flying batteries
so you can fly home. I promise.

[synthesizer plays]

But we're going to need your help.

Will you help Music Robot
find his three batteries

so he can fly home?

Great!

We've got a mission.

We're going to find
the three flying batteries

so Music Robot can fly home.

Let the mission...

begin!

Buckle your seat belts.

[kids] Seat belts buckled!

Prepare for blast-off!

We need to give Rocket a lot of power.

Put your hands on your lap
and pat with us!

[rapidly] Pat, pat, pat, pat, pat.

Now, raise your arms as high as you can

and say, "blast-off!"

[all] Blast-off!

[June] Hold on tight, 'cause here we go!

-Whoo-hoo!
-All right!

[June] We're going to find
Music Robot's flying batteries.

Remember, to fly home,

Music Robot needs all three
of his special flying batteries.

But June, how are we going to find them?

[synthesizer plays]

Oh, good idea, Music Robot.

We can listen for the flying batteries.

Come on.
Put your hand next to your ear

and listen carefully with us.

Can you hear the first flying battery?

Yes, it's coming from over there,

in Rome, Italy.

[Leo] Rocket, full speed ahead!

[dings]

[tires screech]

[synthesizer plays "Rondeau"]

Where is the first flying battery?

Yes! There it is. It's the green battery.

[Annie] It's parachuting
into the Colosseum.

[Leo] Look! The green battery
landed on that chariot.

[June] Uh-oh. The battery is
giving the chariot power.

[tires screeching]

It's racing all around the Colosseum!

[Quincy] And it's going so fast!

[synthesizer plays]

[Annie] Look, look, look!

Music Robot is using his wheels
to drive through the Colosseum.

[Quincy] He's going to
try to catch the chariot

and get his flying battery back.

-Hooray!
-Go, Music Robot!

But driving through the Colosseum
isn't going to be easy.

There are lots of bumps...

[June] And zigzags...

[Quincy] And tiny tunnels.

Music robot is going to need our help
to get the green battery.

-[orchestra playing "Rondeau"]
-Look.

The chariot is going over a bumpy part.

Help Music Robot go up and down
over the bump.

Reach your arms up and down to the beat.

Up, down. Up, down.

Up, down. Up, down.

That's it. He's going over the bumps.

Uh-oh. The chariot took his battery
through a zigzag part.

Help Music Robot zigzag side to side.

Put your hands together
and move them side to side.

Zig, zag.

Excellent.

[Annie] Yikes!

The chariot is going
through that tiny tunnel.

Help Music Robot duck under the archways.

Duck your head with me.

duck, duck.

[Annie] It's working!

[Leo] Music Robot
is catching up to the chariot.

Here comes a bumpy part. Reach your arms.

Up, down.

Zigzag, move your hands.

Zig, zag. Zig, zag.

Zig, zag.

Tunnels, duck your head.

Duck, duck, duck, duck,

duck, duck.

Zigzags,

Bumps!

Tunnels!

Duck, duck, duck, duck.

[Quincy] He did it!

[Leo] Music robot got
the first flying battery!

-[Annie] Yay!

And look,
the chariot stopped rolling away.

get through the Colosseum.

[synthesizer plays]

Way to go, Music Robot!

Now you have your first flying battery.

[kids] Whoa!

Music robot is starting to get
some of his flying power back!

Yay, Music Robot!

[imitates fanfare]

But he doesn't have all
his flying power yet.

Remember, Music Robot can't fly home

until we find all three batteries.

Rocket can help us find
the other flying batteries.

Full speed ahead!

I made up a special going-home dance
just for you.

[synthesizer plays]

It goes like this.

There's the purple battery.

[Quincy] It's heading for Jordan,
to the ancient stone city of Petra.

[Leo] Come on, team!

[June] The second flying battery
must have landed

inside one of these stone buildings.

[Quincy] I wonder how we're
going to figure out which one?

I know. We can listen
for the flying battery's song.

The flying battery sounds
like my synthesizer.

Its music goes...

I wonder what it is.

is giving the toy train too much power.

[Quincy] Oh, no!
It's driving away so fast.

We have to do something!

He can go super fast!

we have to start at adagio.
