See you at the race, loser!

Aah! Guys! Hey!

Theodore. You too?

Yeah, gotta practise for the big race.

Ugh, Theodore! Come on!

I gotta get used to going full speed.

Yeah, I gotta go full speed, too!

I'm gonna take the long way.

Yeah, me too! We'll go together!

Tell Dave I'm practising
for tomorrow's race!

OK, just hold on, 'cause I can't get
the gear onto the thing!

Hey! Hold on! Alvin!

Alvin! Ow!

Theodore, he's gone.

OK, you go, Alvin!

I'll go full speed ahead later!

Ugh, my shoelace is stuck
in the spinning thing.

You know, maybe we should just stop.

-There's a crack here, watch out.
-What? Oof!

You know what?
Maybe we should just walk home.

Yeah, may... maybe for now.

h*, h*! Thank you! Ladies and gentlemen,

I don't know if you can hear me
above the crowd roaring,

"Alvin! Alvin!"
But they are going crazy,

as Alvin has turned in the most
remarkable speed race ever!

-[boot slams and tyres screech]
-Um... Hello? Hello?

What?

[gasps] Where's my bike?

No!

I can't believe they took my bike!

-Wait!
-Argh!

Thank you for stopping!

The craziest thing happened!

What do you think
you were doing back there?

You can't just run in front
of a moving man of the law!

-But my bike's been stolen!
-So? And your point is?

So, you've gotta find the perpetrator!

Know how many bikes
have been stolen last week?

More than yours!

I don't have the stats,
but there are a lot.

And we don't have
the interest or the manpower

to track down
every bike that gets stolen.

Now if you'll excuse me,

-What?
-My bike is gone!

See? This is a big case!

You've got to call this into the station.

Oh, OK.
Well, how do you want me to do that?

Because the walkie-talkie
was on my bike!

Then we'll have to solve this ourselves.

-But, I'm gonna need a badge.
-No.

You are not solving this case.
You are a minor.

Yeah, a minor who has
our only clue.

And I know who it belongs to.

Now, listen, I know these guys

and they're real tough types, OK?
