Voilà.
{\an8}-Ooh.
-Wow.
What's "voilà"?
{\an8}It's a fancy way of saying,
{\an8}"Look at this amazing thing
Pixie found at the marketplace."
{\an8}It's just an old book.
It's a big old book.
{\an8}That's because it's full of everything
we need to know about Winkly Fest.
{\an8}Wow. An actual Winkly Fest?
{\an8}Anybody know what a Winkly Fest is?
{\an8}A Winkly Fest
is a traditional unicorn party,
{\an8}from the olden days, full of activities.
{\an8}First, guests make their entrances
in fabulous hats.
{\an8}-[Kelp] Wow.
-[Ollie] Awesome.
{\an8}After that, they gather for a feast.
{\an8}[Kelp] So cool.
What would they eat?
{\an8}Uh, I don't know exactly.
{\an8}But I'm sure Chef J can tell us.
Yep. Knowing my dad,
he's probably got a family recipe.
[Pixie] To finish the celebration,
the guests build
a traditional Winkly Fest pyramid.
[all grunt]
Is that all? Why's the book so big?
The rest of the pages
are for all the rules.
Rules? For a party?
That sounds...
-Perfect.
-It does?
If there's anything
I like more than rules,
it's lots of rules.
Really?
Yep. With all these rules to follow,
I'm gonna throw the perfect Winkly Fest,
just like the old days.
What about us?
We wanna help with the party too.
Here we go.
You can all help by building this.
What is it?
Not sure,
but the book says we have to have one
for a true Winkly Fest.
Then we're happy to build it.
[upbeat music playing]
We'll have this built in no time.
Wow, there really are a lot of rules.
Like what?
"All guests must walk on tip-hoof
to make as little noise as possible.
Laughter of any kind is forbidden
during the Winkly Fest."
No laughing?
Do we have to do all the rules?
Yes. They're tradition.
So?
So you follow tradition.
That's just how things are done.
[Ollie] Don't worry, Juni.
We'll do our best,
but if we break a rule or two,
what's the worst that could happen?
Oh. I actually saw a rule about that too.
"Rule breakers
will be immediately corralled."
Corralled? [snorts] Where?
[gasps] We built a corral!
It's perfect. Good job, everyone.
Now, who's ready
to get this party started?
Now that we're properly hatted,
and you all look great, I must say...
Mm-hm.
...let the Winkly Fest begin.
Time for your entrances.
Kelp, of Land and Sea.
[exhales deeply]
[humming]
Now Leroy, Artiste of Sparks.
[Pixie & Kelp clapping]
Next, welcome Juniper,
the Small but Mighty.
Can I do a somersault instead?
Sorry, Juni. This routine is tradition.
[groans]
[grunting]
[yelps]
I'm better at somersaults.
Last but not least, Ollie, Duke of Shine.
[sighs]
Hm. Ahh. Hmm.
Did we do it right?
Does anybody have to be corralled?
Your entrances were perfect.
[all exhale]
Now, the feast.
My great-great-grandcorn would be so proud
I finally got to use her original recipe.
Though, I gotta admit,
I've never made anything
quite like this before.
Thanks, Chef J.
According to the Winkly Fest tradition,
guests must finish everything
on their plates.
Easy. I'm starving after those entrances.
All guests must eat in complete silence.
Starting now.
-Chef J, you're allowed to talk.
-Ah.
But everyone else, stay silent.
[clears throat]
I present, for your dining pleasure,
the traditional Winkly Fest delicacy
pickled fluffernuts
suspended in stink jelly.
-Ugh.
-[sniffs, then gags]
Enjoy. Maybe.
Bleh.
Why can't we talk?
This is silly.
And my hat makes my head itch.
I'm happy to go to the corral.
[groans]
-[grunts]
-[Pixie] Shh.
I'm a rule breaker! Whoo!
Mm.
[groaning]
[gulps] Mm.
Mm!
[sneezes]
-Oh...
-[Juniper] The corral is the best!
-The corral is so fun!
-[Ollie grunting]
[gasps]
-[grunts]
-Sorry.
Not sorry.
[giggling, snorting]
Hi, Ollie. Welcome to the Party Pen.
I've been making improvements.
Whoa!
Wow.
You sure have.
[Juniper & Ollie giggling, whooping]
[Pixie clears throat]
Now that the feast is over,
it's okay to speak again.
Whew.
Wow, Leroy,
you were really holding in a lot.
Now's the time we've all been waiting for:
the Winkly Fest pyramid.
But there's only three of you.
Three's all we need.
We'll make the best
Winkly Fest pyramid ever.
Come on.
Okay, Leroy. Come on up.
[grunts] We got you.
[grunting]
Little to the left.
[giggles] Wow.
[giggles, then gasps]
-[Juniper] Okay. That is cool.
-[Ollie] Wow.
We did it. We made a pyramid.
This is how you do a Winkly Fest.
-[stomach growling]
-Uh-oh. My tummy.
Must be all that pickled stink jelly.
-It's okay. I'm okay.
-[stomach continues growling]
Everything is totally, completely...
[burps]
[Kelp] Whoa!
Is everyone all right?
[hiccups]
[gasps] Leroy's laughing!
That's against the rules.
Come join us, Leroy.
-How's your tummy?
-[hiccups]
-I'm okay.
-[Ollie & Juniper giggling]
Look how high I can go.
Welcome to the Party Pen.
Try out our new cloud high dive.
I'm sorry we couldn't pull off the perfect
traditional Winkly Fest you wanted.
It's okay. Even I have to admit,
that was a lot of rules.
Were you having any fun?
Honestly, not really.
-This is so much fun.
-This is the most fun ever!
[Ollie] Party Pen is the best!
Maybe... Maybe it's okay
that some traditions go away.
Because then we can make new ones.
New traditions?
Yeah. Like...
this brand-new, fully upgraded
Winkly Fest Party Pen.
[sighs] All right. Why not?
-Wait.
-What's wrong?
I have an idea for a new,
fully upgraded Winkly Fest rule.
Another rule?
[clears throat]
In order to get inside the Party Pen,
guests must make
another guest laugh first.
Hmm.
I like that rule.
Some rules are good.
Never be anyone but you, Pixie.
I made you laugh. That's my ticket in.
Make room for me.
-Yeah! Yeah!
-Higher. Woo-hoo!
[all giggling, whooping]
I love Winkly Fest!
Hmm.
[grunts] Oh!
{\an8}[narrator reads on-screen text]
{\an8}-Who wants a snow cone?
-[Kelp] I do.
-I do. I want one.
-I want a snow cone.
{\an8}-Thank you, Chef J.
-Thanks, Dad.
{\an8}[gasps] Thank you, Chef J.
{\an8}Now for the good part.
{\an8}Just think of whatever flavor you want,
and that's what it'll be.
-Puff fruit.
-Sea grape.
Rarey berry.
{\an8}[both] What?
{\an8}No. Wait. Those were disgusting. Bleh.
{\an8}Fluffernut.
Smiley fruit. Nice one, Leroy.
{\an8}I'm not telling you my flavor,
{\an8}but my snow cone
is more delicious than yours.
{\an8}Mm. Tacos.
{\an8}I love you, taco snow cone.
{\an8}Snow cone.
{\an8}Snow. "Snow" is a funny word.
{\an8}-What's snow?
-Ooh. Yeah. What's snow, Chef J?
Remember that day it rained?
[both giggling]
Well, it's like that, but very cold.
So cold the rain turns to ice.
-Have you ever seen it?
-I have.
-Awesome.
-Whoa.
I was just a young colt at the time.
We called it
"the Day of the Falling Snow."
[kids] Whoa.
[Chef J] The unicorns sparked shelters
and huddled together to keep warm.
Then what?
[Chef J] The sun came out,
the snow melted,
and it's never happened since.
-Will it come back?
-Maybe.
But between us, I'm okay if it doesn't.
You know us unicorns.
Not huge fans of the rain,
let alone cold frozen rain
falling from the sky. Brr.
Do you think we could find snow somewhere?
Uh, I'm afraid I don't know.
But I admire your curiosity, June Bug.
What's my curiosity?
Curiosity is when
you wanna know about something.
After that story,
I definitely wanna know more about snow.
I'm so curious I'm gonna go find snow.
-Right now. Bye.
-Yeah.
-See you later, Chef J.
-Bye, Dad.
That's it, kids.
You might find it, you might not.
But if you follow your curiosity,
you're bound to discover amazing things.
[Pixie sighs]
What's wrong, Pixie?
I don't think
we can just follow our curiosity.
We need a plan. Hey, wait up!
[sniffing]
Juni, what are you doing?
Sniffing for snow, of course.
Can you smell snow?
Leroy, can I smell your snow cone?
[sniffs] Ooh.
My nose is wet.
Hey. The snow turned to water?
Did you know snow turns to water?
Hmm. [gasps]
That's it, Juni.
What's it?
If snow turns to water,
then maybe this water used to be snow.
And if we follow it to where it begins,
we could find snow there.
-Great idea.
-Okay.
Let's look there.
I knew all we needed was a plan.
Yeah, but we already had a plan.
We're following our curiosity.
Like Chef J said.
That's not a real plan.
Come on. Let's go find snow.
As long as we stick to the plan.
And our curiosity.
Careful. Check for the wobbly ones.
Vine swing.
Ooh, brr.
It's already starting to feel colder.
Chef J said
that it needs to be cold for snow.
[laughter nearby]
[sighs] What are they doing?
[Juniper] Look, look!
Look, Pixie.
It's the biggest butterfly ever.
It's amazing. Isn't it, Pixie?
Sure, it's neat.
But we're looking for snow,
not butterflies, remember?
Yeah, but butterflies.
Whoa.
Hmm. I've never seen anything like this.
I think I'm dreaming.
Well, I suppose we could take a minute.
Whoa.
Yeah.
Wow. Whee!
Where are they going?
Let's find out.
Follow those butterflies.
You're going the wrong way.
This isn't part of the plan.
-[Juniper] Bye-bye, butterflies.
-Ooh.
Check out this cave.
Anyone else curious what's inside?
-Me, me, me!
-Me. I'm curious.
I thought we were looking for snow.
Which is back there.
Maybe there's snow in the cave.
You never know.
Caves are dark and scary.
[Ollie] Good thing this isn't a cave.
It's a... tunnel!
Anyone else curious
to see what's on the other side?
-Me!
-Me. I'm curious.
What about the snow?
Can't we just go see really quick?
I can't help it. It's my curiosity.
Chef J did say if we followed
our curiosity, we'd find amazing things.
[all] Hmm?
[sighs] Okay.
We see what's on the other side,
then we go back to the plan
to follow the streams.
Yay. Tunnel time.
[Juniper] I can't wait to see
what's on the other side.
Wait for me.
This is it?
There's nothing amazing here.
Just trees and stuff we see all the time.
Oh, well. Back to the plan now?
-Yeah, okay.
-Sure.
[leaves rustling]
-[creature hoots]
-What was that?
[hoots]
-Did you see that?
-Whoa.
What was it?
-It can't be.
-It can't be a what?
I think that might be a woolly unicorn.
-Really?
-A woolly unicorn?
No way.
[woolly unicorn hoots]
[woolly unicorn giggling]
The woolly unicorn sounds friendly.
But we said we'd go back
and stick to the plan.
Right, Pixie?
So I know
we all wanna go back to the plan...
but I've always wanted
to meet a woolly unicorn.
Would you say you're curious?
I mean, following our curiosity
could still lead us to snow, right?
So you're saying you want to do my plan.
The one I said.
The one you said wasn't really a plan.
That one?
But only if you all want to.
-Absolutely.
-Yes.
-That's all I wanna do.
-Then let's go.
My curiosity tells me
we've got a woolly unicorn to meet.
-Woolly unicorn?
-Woolly unicorn?
[woolly unicorn giggling]
Woolly unicorn?
[woolly unicorn hoots]
Woolly unicorn?
Where are you going?
Brr.
It's getting colder.
Good thing I wore these leg warmers.
Woolly unicorn?
Can you hear us, Woolly?
Woolly unicorn?
Ooh. [giggles]
-[gasps]
-Whoa!
[speaking in Woolly Unicorn]
Um, what did you say?
Oh, that's right. I forgot.
Woolly unicorns only speak Woolly Unicorn.
-Really?
-A whole other language?
That is so cool.
Leroy, she understands you.
That's Leroy. I'm Pixie.
Leroy?
Pixie?
Yes. And you?
Dambi.
-Dambi.
-Your name is Dambi.
Nice to meet you, Dambi.
-Ollie.
-Kelp.
Juniper.
Ah. Ah.
Ollie. Kelp. Juniper.
Well, we didn't find snow,
but I'm so glad we followed our curiosity,
because it led us to Dambi.
[shivers] It's a good thing
Dambi has that fantastic woolly coat,
'cause it is cold up here.
Remember, Chef J said
it had to be really cold for snow.
Maybe we're close.
Maybe Dambi knows where it is.
Ah! [speaking in Woolly Unicorn]
I think that means
she wants us to follow her.
Come on.
[upbeat music playing]
[gasps]
[Kelp] This is all snow?
-It's like a giant snow cone.
-It's so white.
Uh, what do we do now?
[speaking in Woolly Unicorn]
We play.
So cold, but... soft.
I can't believe Chef J doesn't like snow.
[squeals, then giggles]
-Wow.
-Whoa.
Well, it is cold.
Sure is.
Next time I'm bringing leg warmers.
[theme music playing]
