Enough!
You're a good kid.
Grab yourself a bundle
out of the wheel barrel.
I know you wanted to get started earlier,
but I figured it would be good for guys
to watch me work out.
Give you a better sense
of what I'm all about.
Sure.
Hello, I'm Greg Lawrence:
the creator of Kevin Spencer.
The best and funniest show
ever made for television.
Every week we got thousands
of letters of fan mail
congratulating us on being fantastic,
and asking how exactly it
is that week after week,
we continue to raise the
bar of quality programming.
At least, I assume that's
what the letters say.
I never actually read them.
Excuse me, your excellency.
I'm sorry for interrupting,
but here's your cappuccino
and gold-plated danish.
Didn't I tell you to
bow before you talk to me?
There's so many new rules, I forgot.
Well, maybe you'll remember
when you're washing my f*cking Bentley!
Be gone!
[crashing sound]
Coward!
Some days I regret rescuing
her from the burning orphanage.
I give, I give, and I give.

you a tour of the place.

You!
The hell are you doing?!
Decorating for the Christmas party?
You told me I had to.
I don't even know who the hell you are.
Howard.
I'm the audio engineer for the show.
I've worked here for quite a few years.
Strange that we've never met.
We have.
Quite a lot.
You know, I have the band Pail-E-D.
I asked you if our band
could be in the show.
You said yes.
That was quite a while ago.
No one cares.
They're making a documentary
about how good the show is,
and how great I am.
Why don't you tag along with him,
and he'll introduce you
to the director, Paul.
After you've done that, Andrew.
Howard.
Sure.
And after you've, done
that, finish up the decorating.
I want this place to look more festive
than Jim J. Bullock on
a Mardi Gras bender.
Okay, by the way, the
director's name is Dave.
Dave Biggalow.
[chuckles] I don't care.
Don't say anything bad about me.
I'm serious.
You bad mouth me, and I'll
destroy your f*cking home life.
[typing]
Howard: Hey Dave!
Greg wants you to show these guys around.
Don't you mean his excellency?
[laughs]
The show's pretty much paint by numbers.
I mean, we're not talking about
award winning, clever humor.
Interviewer: So in your opinion,
the show isn't particularly funny.
In my opinion,
there's only so many ways
to tell the same d*ck joke,
and was wearing thin a long time ago.
What about introducing new writers?
Reworking the creative, expanding
the focus of the series.
Sure.
If Greg didn't spend half the
budget on hookers and drugs,
and whatever else he has to
have to fuel his massive ego.
So who actually writes this show?
The computer behind me.
Let's face it.
The show's pretty much people drinking,
and swearing with the odd flash of nudity
to give the impression
that it's somehow risque.
We've got all that sh*t on file,
so the software pretty much
just randomly stitches
a series of offensive,
and unrelated scenes together, and viola!
We've got a half hour of television.
Watch this.
d*ck.
as*h*le.

So if I want a typical

in the family kitchen, I
just hit the kitchen button.
Program in family, and viola!
Ah, sh*t!
Shut up, fatty!
Up yours, you useless drunk prick.
I may be drunk and useless,
but at least I ain't useless.
That don't make no sense.
Maybe it makes so much sense,
that it sounds like it doesn't.
Interviewer: Has the
show ever won any awards?
[laughs]

The staff chipped in, and
set up a security system.

In the hierarchy of assholes,
Greg's the guy above the king.
So why do you stay?

Interviewer: Do you

Normally, Greg only makes

The other guys only have to work 14,
but they have seniority.
Is that why you got stuck staying late,
and decorating the office?
Both: No!

Helen: So now we just add
the booze, the cigarettes,
and surprise, surprise!
