Silas Stork's delivery service.

Baby?

Mama.

And right on schedule.

Well, of course.

[female bear] Dad, he looks just like you.

[humming]

[gasps]

[panting]

This is a prototype antitank g*n,
code-named "trip-hammer".

It's portable. It's deadly.

And as of last night, it's gone.

Stolen out of the army's
weapons lab here in the city.

Whoever took this thing,
will try to skip town with it.

When he does, I want you to nail him.

Yes, sir. Sir, we'll cover every airport,
boat dock, and bus stop.

Ohh.

Every highway and byway,
every nook and cranny--

Oh, no, no. Not you.

Not after that mess
with the mayor's limousine.

Still mad about that?

Till further notice,
you and Wright are on special assignment.

And don't let it happen again!

Come on, J. Edgar give it a rest.

[dispatcher] Car 13, car 13.

Go to 342 airport avenue.
Report of a missing person.

This is 1-3 on a 6-7-9er at 3-4-2--

Wait a minute.

That's Silas Stork's
baby delivery service.

Don't you mean diaper delivery?

No. Baby delivery.

Silas' Storks fly toon tots to toon moms
and dads all around the world.

You're kiddin'.

No, I'm serious.
How else do folks get babies?

Uh, well, storks don't
deliver human babies.

Doctors do.

Doctors deliver babies?

Come on!

Doctors can't fly.

What a nut.

[Bonkers] All your storks are missing?

Yep. I was watchin' the radar
when their tracking collars

blipped clean off the screen.

Maybe it's some kind of sick-out.

My storks go out on strike? Oh, nonsense.

Nothing could stop 'em
from meetin' their schedules.

At least till now!

[babies crying]

Ohh!

[crying]

Waaah!

Poor kid. No home, no family.

But teeth.

Teeth you got.

Lots of teeth.

It's a disaster, I tell you.

I'm up to my beak in back orders.

Oh, Miranda.

We gotta help these babies
get to their happy homes.

I know. I promise, we'll put out an APB.

We'll find the Storks.

But in the meantime, you got to cool down.

You can't carry the burdens
of the world by yourself.

Hmm. maybe not by myself.

Ga.

And so then Miranda says, "never mind."

So I say, "I..." Jitters?

[panting]

Why do I let you
talk me into these things?

Hey, this is a great job.

You got sunshine, you got fresh air.

I got diaper rash.

Anyhoo, nobody'll tell me
how human babies get here.

Say, Jitters. Do you know?

Oh, um...

Um, well.

No. I mean...
I think this is where I get off.

Oh. Okay.

Now, remember. Be back at Silas' A.S.A.P.

[chomp]

Don't you mean...

D.O.A?

"How to care for your new baby"

Chapter 1.

"Your new baby will
gain weight very quickly."

Aah-ha-ha!

Duh-woo-hoo-hoo!

[ding dong]

Baby?

[baby] Mama!

You're welcome.

What are you doing here so early?

Oh, a little light reading.

"How to care for your new baby"

"No more bad diapers"

"The good, the bad, and the boo-boo"

So, Bonkers, why the big interest in--

Wait a sec...

All this baby stuff--

You're working for Silas.

Well, yeah,

but Miranda all those poor sweet
little babies need to get to their homes,

and if I didn't help Silas--

Okay, I understand. But if you
don't want trouble from Grating,

don't let your sideline get
in the way of your police work.

Aw, relax.

I got it covered. I'm ready for action.

I'm...

Uh-huh. Once I'll go see if there
are any leads on those Storks.

[Stork] Isn't an outrage I tell you.

We're now one day, nine hours
and 38 minutes behind schedule.

-Oh, intolerable.
-Yes, intolerable.

Penalties will be paid.

Oh, penalties.

Oh, yes. Big, nasty penalties.

[Blackenblue] Quiet down!

Or you are all pillow stuffing.

[Lilith] Mr. Blackenblue, please.

You're upsetting our guests.

And who are you?

I am Lilith DuPrave, your host.

Everyone comfy?

You snatch us under the clear blue sky,

stuff us into a cage,
and ask us if we're comfy?

-Ha!
-Hoo!

Haw!

Let me pluck them now.

Would you excuse us?

These storks are the only way we can
deliver our little packages to our client.

We used the helicopter
to steal the weapon.

Why not just use
the helicopter to deliver it.

The authorities
will be looking for an aircraft,

but they'd never bother a flock
of toon storks, would they?

No.

Don't worry. You can do them in later.

Now Gentlemen, I do hope we'll
be able to work together.

We insist you release us.

-Oh yes, promptly.
-Promptly.

As you wish.

After all, you're obviously not up to
doing this delivery.

[clears throat]

Did you say delivery?

Yes, now on your way.
I have a very tight schedule.

S-s-sc-schedule?

Um, just a question.

How tight is that schedule?

Positively rigid.

-Please let us have the job.
-Oh, yes.

Well, all right.

Mr. Blackenblue, show them our... babies.

Now these little dears need to be
delivered to their daddy,

who's waiting for them on board a ship...

in international waters.

They don't look much like babies.

No, they don't, and babies are
the only thing we deliver.

A baby is "a bundle of joy, eliciting
feelings of pride and happiness."

Good, because that's
exactly what these are--

my bundles of joy. [sobbing]

Not to worry Madam.
We will keep them alive.

Lovely.

But we still can't help you.

What now?

Oh, you have four babies.
There are only three of us.

Section 67 expressly forbids any stork
from carrying more than one bundle.

[Lilith] Fine!

It seems that we'll have
to find ourselves another stork.

[heavy breathing]

All I want is a normal job,

something quiet and safe.

[Bonkers] Hey, Jitters, wait up!

So much for quiet.

[helicopter whirring]

And there goes safe.

[Jitters] Help!

Jitters!

Hey!

Come back with that stork!

Here, chopper, chopper. Here, chopper.

So the whirlybird catches the worm.

Oh, heh heh, that's very clev--oh!

Don't patronize me, toon.

I can make your life miserable.

Sorry, that job's already taken.

Ugh! But you're in the running.

That's enough, Mr. Blackenblue.
Put him with the other storks.

Ooh!

Right. What's this?

He's not even a bird. He's a dog!

I could be a bird dog. Or not.

Gentlemen, the important
thing is he can fly.

You work it out.

Or I will work you over.

Hey! They got the storks!

Stop that!

You're a disgrace to your beak.

Hey! Ooh, that's sharp!

Troublemaker! Scab!

I'm cursed, that's my problem.

I'm jinxed. I'm doomed. I'm--oh!

Shh! Jitters, it's me, Bonkers.

Like I said, doomed.

Oh, yes. Another stork wannabe.

Well, none of that worked.

Ahem.

We have a thing for details, you see?

Okay. Let's blow this bird cage!

All right, already.

"Don't worry Jitters.
I'll save you, Jitters."

So how come I have to go first?

Psst! hurry it up!

-Ridiculous.
-Silly business.

Very.

We got to get these birds to the roof.

How? The stairs are way
over there. He'll see us.

Whatever it is, the answer's no.

Not even for an efficiency test?

-Well!
-Efficiency?

Count us in!

First one up to the catwalk wins!

Um... I meant to do that.

Oh, my.

Oh, dear.

This actually seems to be working.

That worries me a lot.

[yawns]

Give me a hand, will ya?

Uh-oh.

-Hey!
-Ow!

Really, this is highly improper!

The union will hear about this.

We must notify Ms. Duprave.

Now, look!

Ms. Duprave isn't your
normal kind of customer.

She's rotten. She's ruthless. She's...

over... there!

Patience, commandante.

Your babies will soon be
winging their way to you... literally.

Stay here. Don't move. Got it?

[Lilith] The storks?

Oh, don't worry about them.

Mr. Blackenblue rigged their tracking
collars to explode on my signal.

After the delivery's made, of course.

Psst!

Blackenblue's booby-trapped your collars.

Go, fly, scat, go on before he...

catches...

Boy, are you tall!

-[babies wailing]
-No, I haven't seen him.

But when you see him, tell him he's fired!

Do you know where he is?

What?

Do you, uh--

Quiet!

[shouting] I said do you know--

[normal voice] Do you know where he is?

Lazing around someplace instead
of doing his job, probably.

See? There he is on my radar.

Correction-- there he was.

Silas, can you pinpoint his last position?

Uh...

I suppose.

This case is getting kind of fishy.

[Lilith] Tell me, Mr. Toon cop,
does anyone know you're here?

I will tell you, if you tell me.

Tell you what?

Where babies come from.

All righty.

You first.

Okay. Nobody knows I'm here. Your turn.

[buzz]

Hey! You lied!

What else?

[laughing]

[gulp]

[gulp]

Guess I'm going to have
to eat my way out of this.

[chomping]

Ohhh.

Okay. You got me.

At least I had my last meal.

[sniffing]

And you didn't invite me?

There. Now that you're all back
in uniform, it's time to fly away

and deliver my bundles of joy.

You can count on us!

Now, off we go, men!

Whoa. That hurt.

Don't try anything stupid,
or it's your neck.

[gulp]

Wait! I don't know where we're going!

Freeze! Hollywood P.D.!

Go, Bonkers! I'll cover you!

Whoa, whoa! Whoa, fella! Whoa!

Forget about her! Get him!

Great. Only one b*llet left.

Better make it count.

Aah!

Okay. Show's over!

Sorry, we're going for an encore!

Our collars have been booby-trapped.

Doesn't that bother you?

Look, slacker, just stick
to your schedule.

That's what storks do.

[panting]

[whistles]

Okay. pull over!

Go away. You're a silly person.

Guys, come on, turn around, huh?

This is very bad.

Oh, don't worry. It'll get worse.

See?

I, Jitters a Dog, being
of sound mind and body...

Whoa!

Poor Bonkers! I can't look!

[toot]

Break time!

What about the delivery?

Union rules specifically call
for one 10-minute break per flight.

Oh, yes, right. Thank you.

Then it's Ben's bait shop, is it?

Cup of worms, here I come!

At last we're rid of that toon!

Always wanted to fly one of these!

Make one move,
and I blow your feathered friends to bits.

Gangway!

Uh-oh.

[Lilith] You filthy beast!

[Blackenblue] Let go of me!

You filthy beast! Let go!

Bonkers! Are you all right?

You always ask me that.

Well, the storks are
back delivering babies,

the army got its g*n,

and the navy nailed
DuPrave's customer out at sea.

So much for loose ends.

Yup. Betcha sarge gives us
something special for this!

Okay, so you cracked
the antitank g*n case.

You're heroes. Big deal.
So what? Not impressed.

Oh, uh, yeah.

Incidentally, Wright, this came for you.

What I tell you? A commendation!

No, an invitation.

To a baby shower.

-Wow! Now I get it!
-Get what?

I've been asking for days
where human babies come from.

Now I know. They fall from the sky.

-Uh, Bonkers...
-So, um... who send them up there?

Is it anything like raining cats and dogs?

Do they get parachutes?

[Miranda] Bonkers! Please! Just forget it!

[Bonkers]
I hope somebody's using a mighty big net.

[theme song playing]
