Zoo these are empanadas the word

empanada is Spanish for baked in pastry

a lot of people in South America eat

these and snacks

Neela's s of Cape Coral Florida sent us

her recipe first nothing makes the

pastry but we're going to use

store-bought pie crusts then you can

stuff the cashews just about anything

I'm going to use refried beans shredded

cheddar cheese and salsa create the oven

to 375 degrees be sure to ask an adult

to help if you're not allowed to use the

oven then lay out the pie crust yes like

this using a glass cut out round circle

I'm going to make two but you could

probably get about thirty five six other

down see you around

there's a missing I glasses out of this

if one step there and I'm going around

the edge just in case I want to make

more litter there we go well now on one

side of each circle you can put the

different fillings on a little bit of

the beans a little bit of cheese I love

cheese

and then a little bit of the salsa you

can put whatever kind of salsa you want

let's be mild hot I like smile make sure

there's enough room around the edge so

that we fold over the pie crust ends

just cheating a little bit more

you know maybe you have to move the

bottom corner quickly out of the stack

way maybe the quarters won't fall over

use because they're only allowed to use

for an object at a time I think we

should use the fork to do this job how

comes on the corner see there's a little

part going around another corner and

maybe the fort could kind of get around

all right and I just I just want to see

do you think that the only way is I'm

cheating the fork and pulling the

quarter out but you think of some other

way no I don't think that's the only way

maybe we could use a spatula I think it

might be a good idea to use this spatula

because if it has a thin end so I think

it'll be easier to cope a bit yeah what

I'm gonna try to do is I'm gonna try to

push the stack off the quarter I think

that would work

oh good you have one force like that's

too strong

whole yep tower over

maybe if we suggest cause the bottom

quarter yeah pushing the whole tower

that way it won't tip over we can just

take the bottom quarter up yeah how did

we push the bottom quarter out maybe we

could use the spatula and push the

bottom corner but then it just moves the

whole power yeah and maybe it would if

you go really fast

all right try want to try it yep okay

I think this I'm special is a little

thinner that edge of it oh can I just

see the thickness of the corners sure I

think I why do you think the thing that

comes equivalent no I think you would

matter because this um the edge of the

this yellow spatula is about the same

thickness of 1/4 and if you get a

thinner spatula then it'll be easier to

pick up yeah but you'll pick it up but

if you get a thicker specimen that's

about the same thickness as one corner

you push the one corner and maybe the

other quarters won't fall over

yeah so maybe just try this fast as like

the speed of light we get to look I'll

get that better all right I'll start

stacking up just file we have to quarter

oh yeah then maybe Cowen if you hit the

bottom quarter moving the spatula and

this motion maybe the court the quarters

might not fall over all right oh I keep

stalling out the day wasn't gosh this is

hard she's really hard

you're very hard maybe this July that

would run when the best spatula okay

and she did it with just the right force

Kaley hey where's the best place to eat

when you're traveling I don't know where

there's a fork in the road here are two

members of the zoom team Serena J and

Courtney B of Boise Idaho organized

different volunteer projects every year

at their school last year they held a

canned food drive and this year they're

having a penny drive check out what it

takes to put together a volunteer

project like this one hi I'm Serena and

I'm 12 years old I'm Kourtney and I am

11 years old we live in Boise Idaho and

we're starting at honey drive I'm is

like oh you knew and as you'd like to

say to pass the fingers question oh I

would love it thank you

we're going to start a new program

called penny to top there's a lot of

kids that you get burned out of their

hump and they don't have anything left

and this program is where we collect

pennies to buy papers for the children

who lose their home from the fires then

they're all out of their house and they

don't have anything left then they can

have something at least like cuddle with

adjust the pennies because to a lot of

people pennies are just worthless so we

decided to use the penny because pennies

can really add up would you go your

pennies from my dad cool and backed by a

lot of stuffed animals good job

I think this penny job is very important

because children need help when their

house is burned down

knows volunteer work is important to us

because we know that there are a lot of

children and adults out there that need

our help

someone's volunteer work we've done in

the past a collecting campus for the

needy and reading to younger students

during our lunch hour we needed counters

once - I think it's a really good cause

not even your balance away and it's

actually a cleansing skill because what

you got to go out when we go to get the

bears and stuffed animal yeah and give

them to the priority process hi I'm

Courtney mm fan we started a penny drive

in our school where we bought these

stuffed animals for the kids to get

burnt out of their home you know we can

also use these for children involving an

auto actions and medical problems ok

that'll help comfort them thank you glad

you can help out great volunteering

but we can't blow exactly on the can so

that they're touching yep or touch the

cans with their hands yep and we can't

move the straws your hands like that

exactly okay I think I have an idea

though

what if we built like a bridge kind of

like kind of a load so it goes on all

like kind of like a lamp it would be

kind of thick and then if you just kind

of give a little bit below so yeah but

maybe took off a bridge yeah nothing

like yeah like it's a Western bridge the

roads like definitely had a tilt up yeah

like roll down with the lamp I don't

think we had to make it high over cuz to

get it to go up you can't it can't

assume by itself you have to blow it so

I have an idea right now we could

stomach a lamp

you know how strong if you put them

together they kind of have the wave like

this you can like roll yeah what if you

do something like that

let's put like the cans on them put it

the long way so with that and then good

little turds we're not moving the cup

they weren't blowing on them I mean

we're not moving the can yeah then and

then on this side cover here move this

one we all we can't go like this

no moving straw and we took an alibi

so now we are very shy so yes when I

want to touch the can right but sorry

I still think this is good idea because

it has a waves and can go a little

because there's no way you can move it

then using this one some nice water
