zo dear Zoom if you are bored here's a

game you can do the game is called pick

up the quarters here are the

directions pick two players and

blindfold them put some warm water in

two large

containers put 10 pennies nickels and

dimes and five quarters inside the

container pick out the coins one at a

time if players think that they don't

have a quarter they can put a coin back

after one minute see how many quarters

each person has quarters are worth one

point but pennies nickels and dimes are

each worth negative one point this game

was made up by Lydia B of Detroit

be wearing rubber gloves and we found

special non-latex rubber gloves for Zoe

because she's allergic to latex okay you

sent us instructions to make an

invention he calls the Cal

dispenser here's what you need to make

yours one 2 L empty soda bottle a paper

towel tube some cardboard masking tape

and small paper cups first with an

adult's help cut off the top of an empty

soda bottle then cut off the bottom of a

cup put the cup at the top of the empty

bottle and tape it in into place and you

should angle it so that you can pour

with

it just wrap it around the C all the way

around just make sure it's over the

hole how come it's falling on the

ground okay then you're going to need a

cut off Val so take a paper towel tube

and cut a slit in it like this

one okay then you want to take your

cardboard and cut out a rectangular

shape like this one and then you're

going to want to put the cut off valve

right into the slit

so like that nice and straight so it

kind of looks like a te if you flip it

sideways okay then with an adult help

cut a door in the side of the

bottle okay then we're going to tape the

tube to the cup on top of the cup top of

the

cup then you're going to want to cut the

bottom off of another small paper

cup and then tape that to the top of the

tube look

up okay I think we're ready to pour our

zumos

going about halfway do you think we

should tap the door shut so none of the

cereal kind of falls out like that just

did yeah it's

good Perfection tape it

shut so the cereal doesn't fall

out inventions are usually made to make

a job easier this invention keeps cereal

fresh and makes it easier to pour alth

it's not as colorful as a cereal box and

it's much more difficult to put away

because it takes up more space ready

yep okay guys get some

now and the lever is not open nothing

game called words from a word to play

Pick A word the longer the better then

two teams each have one minute to come

up with as many words as they can from

the letters in the word so if the word

was Monster they could use the word

can only use a letter as many times as

it appears in the word since monster

only has one e you can you can only use

it once in each word and proper nouns

M hi my name is gordono from poo New

Jersey I'm I'm going to tell you how to

make a little snack that I invented it's

called Gordon's

drumsticks first you

need pretzel stick pretzel sticks peanut

butter marshmallows and chocolate chips

first get a marshmallow then get a

drumstick smash it right in

there like that then then you flip it

over so marshmallow is pointing to the

air then get some peanut butter and by

the way you need a knife and and if

you're not allowed to use a knife by

yourself get a hook gr enough to help

you get a knife and then spring then

spread it all around

then you're done you can eat it in when

you're watching

TV in the car but I like most of all

left out when my cousins and my friends

they went to a movie and I went to go

get my jacket and by the time I got my

jacket they were they already taken off

they already took off a lot of times it

can happen like ding Sports and stuff

yeah yeah yeah and like if you a lot of

kids get mad if they like get picked

last but they should be happy to get

picked we were playing football and he

was everyone got picked and then they

just they had a whole bunch of people

here getting picked and then those was

just like five people left I was just

saying that we didn't get picked and

they're already starting the game and my

friend was one of them I was like who we

still have five more people to pick like

no forget them they can't even play

football when you play

like when you play sports sometimes if

you can't if you're not pick they go oh

you're the sub and if anybody gets tired

you can just fill in for them but nobody

ever gets tired and they're just like

the person left out when I get left out

sometimes you just I just kind of walk

away or I just stand there go um hello

yeah if you left out sometimes you get

like jealous of like people that yeah

but like the best thing to do is either

like go up to them and say hey can I

play with you guys or I think we should

this like some sometimes just walk away

from the problem see if I can find

something better to do my brother he's

older than me and my mom used to always

take him places and say well I'll take

you when you're older and then I get

older and she's like and she's still

taking the place she's like I'll take

you when you're older and then he's 3

years older than so she was like um

you'll have you'll have 3 years when I

can take you all over the place I was

like fine to wait that long I get left

out for my sister but sometimes she gets

that left out for me and we're close to

age so we all play together so that's

good

you how to make tops let's spin it again

I love the colors on this I know they

look so

wow well kids from all around the

country have been experimenting with

their own Daniel M of Randolph

Massachusetts wanted to find out which

shape would make the best spinning top

so he cut three different shapes out of

White cardboard a heart a circle and a

square he also wanted to find out if the

length of the pencil mattered so he

tested each top with a 4-in pencil and a

7in pencil Daniel found out that the

shape of the cardboard didn't affect the

amount of time the top with spin but the

tops made with the 4-in pencils spun

much longer than the tops made with the

7-in

pencils Daniel also discovered that if

he spun his tops upside down using the

Eraser end instead of the pencil point

the tops spun better he thought it was

because the Eraser had a larger surface

area than the pencil

point try making tops at home and send

any discoveries you make to

zoom Courtney and Andrew S have h a

little noise sent it's this cool way to

get a refreshing drink okay you take an

orange and you roll it on the table

putting pressure on it so it makes it

soft

okay then you take an apple core and you

carefully a hole in the middle of an

orange careful because you don't want to

get a

cut o or get juice all over the place so

and you don't need to make it that deep

then you break a candy peppermint stick

in half you take the stuff off okay well

yeah and you might want to bite off

the orange then you use it like a straw

and there's your drink it'll take some

time for the juice to come up through
