yes zom do have you ever gone on a

vacation and bought a snow globe as a

souvenir today I'll teach you how to

make your own this idea was sent to us

by Rachel s of rice Wisconsin what you

need are some jaars like this which you

can find at home some glitter duct tape

little figurines like these some water

and some paint first get a

jar and open it up then find the

figurines you like best I like these two

the most cuz they're wild I think I'll

name this one

Bobby take your tape cut off a small

piece and put it on on the bottom of the

lid make sure it doesn't get the corners

cuz then you won't be able to put the

lid back

on now cut another small

strip and roll it up like this so so the

sticky part is on the

outside and put on the

figures okay you might also want to put

some tape around their feet too so that

they don't start falling off

before you put the water in you should

probably put the glitter in because the

glitter kind of sets if you put the

water in

first use about half a

teaspoon of glitter then pour your water

in now put in your animals and screw on

the lid you probably want to screw this

on very

tightly and wipe off the water on the

outside then paint half of the jar and

the lid and leave it to dry overnight we

already have some made right

here I like this one a lot because it

has cutouts on the back so when you FL

shine a flashlight through it you can

see the stars

it's almost like a space

scene another one I like is this one

it's an underwater

scene there's a lot of different

settings you can do with these so try

I'm Kevin battenfield I'm a stream

keeper going to head over there for me

being a stream keeper is kind of trying

to preserve all the places that are

really nice and healthy and trying to

really fix the other places so it's more

livable for

Animals we volunteered to take care of

the water and fish and streams near the

places we live we do things to find out

how healthy or unhealthy a stream is and

then we try to make it a better place

for Salmon to live these are baby salmon

and we can't just let them go on every

stream so we're going to find out if

this stream is healthy enough to let him

going right now we're trying to collect

bugs most of the the bugs that we're

collecting can't live in very polluted

Waters so we're seeing if it's healthy

water or not cuz they kind of indicate

how the water

is we call this the bug dance we do it

to wash the bugs off the rocks and catch

them in the

oh okay there's all our bags look at

that we're finding lots of bugs ctis

flies mayflies and stoneflies the kinds

of bugs the salmon like to eat so it

means the river's really healthy so it's

pretty good let's

go sometimes we need to put Plants along

the banks to keep the water cool and

Shady for the salmon you want the shovel

up there I think we can if too much dirt

gets into the water it can cause

problems so we're planting reow branches

when they sprout their Roots will stop

the dirt from getting into the

stream before we let the baby salmon go

we also check to see if there's enough

oxygen in the

water well I think being a stream keeper

is lots of fun because we get to really

help the environment of where we live

and actually see for yourself what the

stream needs help with it feels good to

know that when these salmon return here

in 3 years this stream will be even

healthier than it is now

this cool

idea that you can do with

hangers okay first you take an ordinary

wire coat hanger and unwind it and

flatten it out so it looks like this all

right very

flat then you put a notch in the middle

so that it looks like an M like this

this is what it's going to be balancing

like and last but definitely not least

you put socks on the

ends of your

hanger like this to balance it but make

sure you don't use your best socks or

your mom's best

socks okay Pablo would you like to

spinning around it stays in the same

because you can't move anything that's

not living unless you push it or pull it

you you're just like styling well it

really it's like depends where you put

it cuz if there's a place where it it

how can you stop I think Prejudice comes

from people who might not feel very good

about themselves so they feel that they

have to pick on other people about their

race or their gender or their color and

a way to stop it is either to ignore

them or educate them on the subject and

tell them why they should not do that

prejudice is when people are against

other religions other race and I think

people should accept the way people are

not just the way you

went to see this like it was kind of

like an old East concert and then like a

comedy thing was after it and um I

really really had to go to the bathroom

and I mean the person sitting next to me

was handicapped and so I felt really bad

getting out and going that way because

there was like a couple seats until you

got to the aisle so I decided to go the

other way and and these ladies were just

like um it was like a break in the thing

it wasn't like they were in the middle

of a song or anything like that and so

my friend and I we got up and we started

walking out towards the aisle and they

were like oh man the kids are just so

like rude nowadays we were walking

through saying excuse me like we weren't

we weren't doing anything that would

make them think that we were rude we

like excuse me excuse me oh sorry like

and they were just like oh come on I was

like the other thing about it is I don't

understand how grownups can walk around

and they say oh kids are so rude these

days people don't even say excuse me

anymore know they just walk by you like

hold the door for ad you hold the door

for adults they don't even say thank you

and your parents teach you to hold the

door open to be polite there's also a

lot of people who respect that there are

but there's also a lot then it's your

turn my aunt went into this music store

said uh adults only you know because

you're thinking oh might have stuff that

kids can't see you know know that kind

of stuff so my aunt went in there and

you know it was a music store and so she

comes out and I says so what was wrong

with it and she says absolutely nothing

for kids and I think this guy just

didn't like kids and didn't want kids to

go in there Jared and I we went to Fun

World and um we went to this um there

was this like air fill thing and then um

we were going in and then the guy goes

no don't don't go doing flips and

jumping around and doing this he just

looked at us and like he doesn't know

who we are and he just just says another

I had gone in before him I had gone in

before Pablo did and he didn't say

anything to me and then he said it to

Pablo I was like what about me I'm with

him and it was really weird I remember

like a few years ago I was at recess and

someone goes everyone Hi the Russians

are coming and I just like I don't even

think he knew I was Russian but I mean

it was just like out of the blue he

wanted to say it as a joke but it really

wasn't funny and it kind of offended me

cuz you know it's bad especially like

when you have a whole bunch of people

and they don't like you because the

color your skin and they don't even know

who you really are like they

just what is it um label you like Alisa

said they just La you because the way

you look they would say this this kind

of people they're poor and this and this

kind of people like I'm Jewish and

there's like some thing like Jewish

people are cheap

yeah so stuff like that think about it

what like makes people think that it's

okay to be like making other people's

lives miserable they probably think cuz

they're better that don't know but I

don't know why they do

it remember when Jared and I showed you

how to make a film canister

rocket oh that was wicked aumers from

around the country tried to make their

own here's a video from the kids at Camp

Tech in Boston

Massachusetts instead of using baking

soda and vinegar they launched their

Rockets using Alka Siler and

water also they cut pieces of paper into

l-shapes to make a stand for the Rockets

So they would launch up straight into

the

air the Rockets shot really high higher

than ours did but like ours sometimes

they didn't go at all

when they did go boy did they go

name is Joe we have a lot in common like

we both feel strongly about pierced

noses and both enjoy baseball and

kickball but there are some things that

I don't enjoy doing that Dad wants me to

do like taking out the compost dusting

getting up early and setting the

table but when I grow up and I'm the

boss I'll have things he doesn't like

for example when he comes to visit all

when I grew up so for now I'll have to

make do with the things we both like the
