and try and get it off without using
your hands or moving your head or body
good luck ivg all right
start your dimes I can't touch my tongue
to my nose so I'm pretty good I don't
know I can't even get the g*n to bounce
on my own ten trips won tons of money
oh no I did it mom I'll look around okay
okay I lost one
what's up what's up what's up if you
could ask your pet one question what
would it be why don't don't go to school
because she is people say that doctors
might even know one that's to turn on my
cat's name is Molly and if I could ask
her one question it would be what's her
favorite food and she's always thinking
about what she eats I had asked him if
they understood what I was talking about
because sometimes I talk to my pet and I
wonder if they understand me you know
they just kind of give me a funny look
or something but I always wonder if they
really understand me what I'm when I'm
talking to them so that's what I would
ask them that energy teach me the devil
likes to talk to you every day I had a
cat her name was labo and if I can
accent any question it will be what if
she went away
however while
if I can't have one question it would be
a lot of usident other job but what do
you think about let's hear from you at
zoom box three five Oh Boston Mass Oh
two one two four and we'll send you the
latest issue of your ring or visit our
website at www.nasa.gov/station heed
you'll need a pan some straws
water-based tempera paints a fork or
hair pick liquid laundry starch
construction paper and then here's how
you make it you take some laundry starch
and you pour it into the pan enough so
it covers the whole pan here we go then
we take straw and dip it in some paint
and then lick it gently over the surface
because if you flick it to Mars oh just
sink oh by the way blues my favorite
that's why I picked it first kind of
messy so you got to be careful okay you
know you add some orange use different
stars for different colors because then
you're going to mix them up
that's my chair it'll be here they're
purple go and some yellow now take the
fork for your hair prick and just swirl
it around yes well it's too hard I'll
make a muddy brown color and you don't
want that Charlotte and we go now I'm
going to use a little one to see if I
can if it makes a difference go here at
the corner yeah okay now we take take
the paper and just place it over the
surface gently sway it a little bit then
take it out carefully and place it over
newspaper that way you don't hit your
rat now isn't that beautiful made by me
Pablo Picasso now this is what you can
do with it you can use it as book covers
you can make a card with it or you can
hang it on the wall for the directions
for this too and others like them check
out the Xoom website at triple w pbs.org
and if you don't have a computer at home
there's probably one at your local
library

what can you do using 50 straws and some
clay well Frank s of gravel Ridge
Arkansas sent us this challenge try to
make a tower as high as you can using
these ingredients then place a plastic
cup on top and see if you can hold 100
pennies okay here we go
we should put like clay mix not all over
the whole thing but just like at the
bottom of the straws if you put the
straws with this and make a square make
a square like this yes this on and we
can see how big it is so then we can
make it tomorrow Wow so you can have one
stick no no but you could mark lie on
this Bert I've got a consist we try
perfect oh boy no what happens if this
doesn't work what are we gonna do
we'll pick it out and try again hmm
that's a good idea we could keep
repeating it yeah Oh too much clay kind
of baby do we have to use all the straws
I don't know probably okay you probably
should use maybe that would be good all
right
the cleaner wrasses yeah thanks we
starting over now
CDs are stronger it's gonna stand on
that and then the bigger circle will
support it more right and then if it's
wobbling in the middle then we'll put
another circle so no wobble as much
almost there I'm the outside circle how
are you doing inside I can have a
student doing all right now let's try to
put the cup in hey no no no no look look
if it won't hold a lot of pennies
see we should put more support all the
way up to here I think we should want
support in the middle one yeah that's
what I was saying I think we should put
a thin layer of this on the top so that
the cup will have something then I'm
going to pass it all down so it will all
be the same level good idea all right we
should all right I think that's too
thick hello let's just try it okay okay
did you get the kids of this okay okay
all right let's go hold on right no
let's just try it okay we Seth I know
but we have to do one thing is attempt
to see how many to hold before it
collapses I think we got it
bada bing bada boom searching I don't
care just try to get it all in it's okay
we did it
don't know about me already okay okay
four more yeah we did it good job
double-stick tape double-stick tape
double-stick tape do it infomercial this
is a decorating miracle product
it is 15 on both sides hi I was zero
Clinton on 13 years old this is my room
and we're gonna have fun decorating it
my husband sees from my mom and I
started to play with it all day then I
send sticking stuff places and it didn't
come off so that's how can I use it yes
potpourri it's dry flowers that smell
good but I don't use it for the smell I
use it for decoration first you put the
dosa seat down the door then of course
with the cut you pull the other side up
then you must get potpourri and start
applying pieces of it
look what double-stick tape can do for
you sometimes I get artistic first even
when I'm sleeping just like last week I
have an idea
you
now guess what we use to stick them to
the ceiling
hmm I just thought of something I could
do with old sneakers and double stick
tape I'm going to add all that beep
first and then make it look like the
sneakers are locking down the ceiling
double stick tape it doesn't seem the
sneakers are sticking that work for the
ceiling but I still love my double 15
double stick tape it'll save you a lot
of time trouble is money penny yes who
do birds marry I don't know we made this
tower to hold a hundred pennies but we
decided to see how many more can hold
ready yeah 101 102 hundred and three 155
156 157 158 159 170 170 172 shy
yes 188 oh boy 178 well I didn't do that
178 Wow good sounding more than we were
supposed to what is a nice one
yes two hundred one hundred to two
hundred three hundred four 205 206 207
208 209 and then oh whoa can you build a
really tall structure that can support
more Patties
our structure had a strong triangular
shape and it was held together by lots
of Christ
that's why sit hold so much weight see
if you can build one that's taller or
one that can hold more pennies Zuzu I'm
writing to tell you about the time and I
had to move away from the big house in
the country to a little apartment in the
city I even had to give away my dog but
then it turned out it wasn't such a bad
move after all I got to go to a great
new school and live near a pool and a
rec center random end of Tallahassee
Florida it's like it's weird because
when you move and stuff like you leave
everything behind you leave all your
friend on behind and no but not your
furniture well I think that like
seriously you leave you don't leave
everything behind but the things that
seems most important to you yeah I moved
from Russia to America ah Russia was
Russia like I was only four years old
but I can remember going down the st.
Basil's Church that's like um a really
famous building there they can remember
I lived in this like apartment across
from this playground and I can miss
another everything in the playground I
know I was like 2 years old when I was
there there was this time I had to move
like away from my grandmother's house
and I had it wasn't a lot of friends but
I had friends around me that I knew I
was gonna miss so amazing that's pretty
hard of moving is leaving your friends
and everything yeah and another thing
that's hard when you're leaving your
friends is changing schools yeah yeah
it's just strange and stuff because
you're used to your old friends and now
you have to make new ones
the hardest thing for me when I moved
was learning a new language I didn't
even know one word in English and I had
to like I'd learned it from listening to
people I never even took classes I would
just listen to people and that's how I
learned how to speak and like I'd come
into kindergarten and I'd like start
speaking in English and then halfway
through the sentence I said speaking in
Russian and they have no clue what I was
talking about and I went
even notice because they were both so
weird to me but what can you speak
Russian stop okay how did you ask you
that maybe say um I'm very happy that
I'm in America and in London yeah yeah
what you gotta so yeah amazing
is that I wasn't here nicest by the kids
at Camp Androscoggin Wayne me
