- Folks, the episode
[coughing] last week- almond.
Last week, a trip to
the Mountains of Chaos
had us Legend Lore an ancient carving
of the imperial House of
Sunstone, a house of giantkin
that had taken over the Mountains of Chaos
in ages past and eventually
become the Cliffbreakers,
those mortals who worked with
and eventually betrayed Bakur,
who had taken their goddess
of summer and the dawn
and shaped her over centuries of conquest
into a goddess of w*r, wrath, and fire.
We came back to Elmville
and did some snooping
in Ruben Hopclap's manor
overlooking Lake Shimmerstone,
as well as Porter's office.
We saw an unbelievable-
Porter's immense power,
you know, slicing the obelisk
in the barbarian classroom,
stomping the ground and
stunning all of our heroes.
And we've learned everything
they needed for the ritual.
What did they need for the ritual?
They needed the true name of the goddess,
which they do not have.
They instead have the name Bakarath.
- Sounds real.
- Sounds real to me.
- I'd worship Bakarath.
- [Emily] Me too.
He's the god of gambling.
- Exactly.
Many old men do worship Bakarath.
- My dad's a huge fan of Burt Bakarath.
[all laughing]

They needed a change in the bylaws,
which only the principal can do,
but of course there is
no principal right now.
So instead, the student
body president can do it,
who will be elected as
of midnight tonight,
when the votes will be counted.
But of course, the only
votes that'll count
are the ones that make it to the school.
Ay-ay-ay.
We also discovered a lot of
other things they needed,
they already have.
Soil suffused with the energy
of the shatter stars, a
population within Elmville
made wrathful and angry
by Ruben's performance
at Frosty Fair, a
protective shroud provided
by the Nightmare King as
storms encircle Elmville.
And indeed, the plan
to take all of Elmville
and rip it from the Material Plane
to form a new divine
domain, not for Ankarna,
but for her new incarnation,
Porter Cliffbreaker.
With all of that being said-

party at Seacaster Manor

So anybody that has not
already voted at school
is here next to an election
booth at this banging party.
Aelwyn also has this place done up to a T.
Guards and Wards,
multiple Symbol spells,
multiple Glyphs of Warding.

- She also has left her
abjurative ward around Seacaster Manor.
So Seacaster Manor itself
just has sort of a wall
of hit points around it.

to f*cking drive this thing into the gym.

We have no information
about what is happening-

So we cut back to that moment
where the party's sort of beginning.
Fabian, describe for me
the moment as the party
is kicking off in genuine,
when the first big wave
of people arrives.
This is the moment we ended on last time,
but what was the state of
the party in that moment
we ended on last time?
- I just think there's a pretty...
Fabian's created a pretty solid funnel.
I think, if anything, I've
even put up little curtains
that it's like to go to the
party, you have to vote.
You have to walk through the thing,
and as soon as you walk through,
you get a glass of bad baby milk,
and there's a picture of my face
that goes from the ceiling to the floor.
[Ally laughing]
It says, "Happy birthday,
me," and then underneath it
is just a little banner that says,
"And congratulations,
President Applebees."
[Ally laughing]
- I think Fig made a sign that
is in the Rock the Vote font
but it says, "Rock the Boat."
- And we're like, oh, is that
supposed to be attached to the campaign?
- Is it a reference to something or?
- What?
- Yeah, like Rock the Vote.
- Is this like Rock the Vote
but you made it boat?
- What's Rock the Vote?
- Yeah, yeah. But we're in a boat.

decorations around the fact
that we were in the boat.

Just in a bathtub-
- While you guys were fighting Porter,
I was at Party Village getting supplies.
Just slowly being like,

- As the party
is kicking up, kids are
coming into Seacaster Manor.
You see that Jawbone is
handing out pamphlets
for people to read as they come through
that have the statements
made by the campaigns
and stuff like that. So
you see that the kids
have walked through, gotten that,
all have their ballots in their hands.
So every single kid at the party
has a ballot in their hand.
They just have to read the pamphlet,
write down their choice,
return it to the voting booth,
and they're good to go.
We cut back to the moment
where, around the house,
ping pong ba*ls [imitating
magic whirring],
these conjurational runes pick up.
You immediately recognize
these conjurational runes
have an element of
celestial/undead magic in them,
that there is like an element
of the Nightmare King,
that these are basically...
What they are here to do
is a conjuration specialist
has said, "I am going to use
these to bring the attention
of the Nightmare King to this
place." It's a homing beacon.
As this happens, you all feel
[imitates wind whooshing]
wind pick up. All of the windows
outside of Seacaster Manor fade.
They are surrounded by fog and mist.
And as the mist picks up, you
are [imitates wind whooshing]
lifted into the sky.
The music is bumping inside, right?
[Brennan imitates heavy bass music]
And as the lightning sort of
ripples all the way around
[imitates thunder rumbling]
all the kids inside go, "Woo!
Maximum legend!"
- Yes. This is all
going according to plan.
- We planned this. Surprise!
- We planned this.
- I didn't mean it literally
when I said rock the boat.
It was a Rock the Vote parody.
- Did you make this... Did you
hire people to rock the boat?
- Can I investigate my banner
and see if I accidentally did this?
- Give me an Insight check.
[die rolling]

- You see that your banner
ripples with the power
of all of the illusion magic you've used
to disguise yourself,
and you see Baby and Baby Baby's face say
"We thought it would be funny."
- Oh no. I did this.

- And then, the tiredness
and exhaustion fades
and that's not happening.
- Yes.
- All right. As you take to the sky,
you feel yourself on the
edge of a curling arm
of the storm being
rocketed away from Elmville
as the storm spins centered on this place.
Half of the manor rips away.
The pool comes with you
up into the sky. As this happens,
there is nothing keeping you
aloft other than the force
that is hurling you away.
You feel that you may be in a prolonged
windup of an arm of this deity
that is moving you quickly
but you're like a ball that's
being prepared to be released
and thrown, and that's
just taking several minutes
as it's happening.
When you are released, there is nothing
that will keep you from spinning,
everyone smashing out a window,
falling to their deaths,
your house crumbling below.
It's a bad situation.
- Is the biplane kid here?
- Sprak LeFevre? Wouldn't miss
it for the world, old boy.
- [Lou] Sprak, Gorgug,
could you f*cking...
Could you do the thing?
- Sprak is that a Juul?
- Do the thing?
- Huh?
- Are you smoking a Juul?
- This is crystal meth.
[all laughing]
- Great. We need you awake and aware.

- Gorgug, is there something you can
do with the Cloud Rider thing?
- Can I make some sort of tinkerer's check
to see if we can steer this vessel at all
with the sails and things like that,
or if the cloud drives?

I'm now going to pass out to all
of you Seacaster Manor's stats.

- This is very similar to the Hangvan.
There's just a couple
of things at the bottom
that are a little bit new.
First of all, you will see
that Seacaster Manor has an AC of 15.
It has 400 hit points,
and the shield ward that
Aelwyn's put on it has 100.
It has a damage threshold of 15.
That damage threshold doesn't pick up
until the shields go down.
- Okay. Great.
- [Brennan] Speed of 80. Fires can start.
- I really like just
seeing, "Fires can start".
- Yeah.
- Yeah. What does that mean?
- Hey.
- They can happen?
- Theoretically?
- If someone threw a Fireball,
then we could have sustained
fire that we have to continue-

The election. There are
A Persuasion check equals
the amount of students
you can convince to vote times five.
So that's getting people at the party
to return their ballots to Jawbone.
And the final ship
action here in the storm
is running the party.
The threat of the party
going badly is total panic.
If you guys get to a point of total panic,
kids will drop their
ballots. They will run amok.
They will not return their voting cards,
and that will be a bad situation.
So, basically, all of
your character actions
are in one column, and then
ship actions are in another.
Right?

popular kid in the school,

- I will say that due
to- you set popularity
as your number one track.

- Every single time, you

or running the party

We had a whole plan, you know,
because the votes have

- You slide it, and the ink ripples
and moves across your
skin as the door opens
and a little Pac-Man ghost
with feet comes walking.

It goes up and disappears up.

And, appearing out of the vapor,
dragons begin to encircle the ship.
The smallest are the size of elephants,
but there is one much larger one.
This one's circling around
over in this direction.
One of them is gonna go
ahead, almost moving to land
on the ship itself. You have

You see there is a larger one sort of
in the back of the ship over there.
One kind of strafing in from the side

as they begin to swoop in.

As the light of Ankarna
fills the mouth,
and this image of a
half-formed Nightmare King
for a moment is once again Cassandra
who feels that someone in this world
knows her love
as she once did.
There is still hope.
Moving through the open maw,
you arrive in good old Elmville.
