[Lola] I've got the costume box.

Who wants to play grown-up?

What should we dress up as?

There are so many cool choices.

[salsa music playing]

Say, I've got an idea.

Whoever comes up
with the best grown-up costume,

that's what we'll play.

Well, it's hard to get better than this.

I'm a firefighter.

Ooh. Lola, that's cool.

I want to be that too.

Ehh, what's up, partners?

Hey, it's Cowboy Bugsy.

I want to be a cowboy.

I'm a magician.

I'm a clown.

I'm a lion tamer.

I'm an astronaut.

I work at car wash.

I'm a fast-food counter guy.

Come on. Think about it.

You're surrounded by hamburgers all day.

You get to wait on people
and give them change.

It's exciting.

[all chattering]

Well, it would be pretty neat
to work the cash register.

And make french fries.

And give away all those cool toys
in the kiddie meals.

[shouts]

Hey, Daffy, what are you supposed to be?

Diaper Duck.

Super heroical super-guy.

[all chattering]

Fast-food counter guy.

What was I thinking?

Golly, I guess I'll just
never be cool like the other kids.

Hey, kids.

Oh, boy. I love this show.

What time is it?

Time for fish!

Today, I'm gonna show all you little chums
out there how to paint with spaghetti.

This could be good.

It's a delicious snack food made
from pickles and chocolates and stuff.

But, Sylvester,
you know you don't like pickles.

The kid on the commercial is cool.

I'm not about to spend
my hard-earned money

on something you're never going to eat.

Well, I had a feeling you'd say that.

for our next trip to the toy store?

My uncool days are about to be over.

[sniffing]

[groans] Gosh, do you think it's supposed
to smell like that?

[sniffs] Yipes, stripes.

Maybe it's expired.

Oh! Wheatgrass cider.

Well, here goes nothing.

Hey, this isn't so bad.

[groans]

Well, it'll be worth it
when the other kids see how cool I am.

Maybe one Pickle Pop
isn't enough to make a difference.

Maybe just a few more...

And I'm bound to be
the coolest cat in town.

The other kids are certain
to notice me now.

[all chattering]

Ah, I guess nothing I do
will ever make me stand out.

Hey, Sylvester,
there's something different about you.

Well, if by "different" you mean stinky,
yeah, I notice it.

[groans]

Well, I hope you've learned
a lesson today, Sylvester.

Well, I still don't like pickles.

Especially when they're covered
in marshmallow and chocolate,

and make you stink like old cheese.

Besides that, little one,

you shouldn't believe
everything you see on TV.

Oh, yeah.

That too.

I guess I'll just have to find
some other way to be cool.

Sylvester, the coolest people
don't try to be cool.

They just act like themselves.

Trouble is, when I act like myself,
nobody notices.

[shouts]

[grunting]
