Never mind.

You find my boy?

[Sighs] No, not yet.

Then, why are you here?

I'm here to tell you that we
have every cop at the fourth

working to find him.

I wish that made me feel better.

Want one?

No, thanks.

Looks like you could slow
down with that, you know.

You're kidding, right?

'Cause the only thing
you get to tell me,

is that you've found Trent.

Till then, we have
nothing to say.

[Sighs]

So, uh...

Where's codak's father?

You're not going
to let it go, huh?

I'm sorry. I just
wanted to know.

After you and I broke up...

I hooked up with somebody else.

I became pregnant.

He left me...

And I've struggled to take care
of myself and my son ever since.

Happy?

No, I can't say I'm
happy about that.

I can't help you,
j. That's on you.

Listen, Pam...

I apologize again for what
happened between us.

Yes, we did have
something real and...

No, no, we already
dealt with the past

and I don't... I don't
need to go back there.

Well, maybe I haven't.

Well, that's your
problem, j, not mine.

My only concern
these days is Trent.

You ever wonder what, what...

All the time.

I promise I'm going to find him.

No.

Don't promise me anything.

[Sniffles] Just bring him home.

[Mellow music]

This will be my
last recording...

Unless things
turn out differently.

Mom...

If anything happens to me,

make sure you get
this tape to the police.

I love you.

We both always tried to
do things the right way...

But...

Sometimes it's just not enough.

[Music continues]

[Instrumental music]

[Siren wailing]

I got you now, shorty,
huh? Huh? No more games.

Ah! Get off me! Get off me!

Hey, man, get off me!

[Tires screeching]

[Dramatic music]

Alright. What's up,
people? Anything yet?

No. Nothing yet.

We put a citywide
alert out for the kid.

Checked the plates,
the car was stolen.

Yeah, it figures.

Hey, guys, I think
I got something.

Moreno: Okay, now, see
that building on the right?

I've watched about ten tapes.

And this building has been in
the background of at least five.

You know, I was looking
at a video last night.

This kid was standing in a
place that looked just like that.

It's obviously someplace
he likes to hang out.

Well, that's entirely possible.

McNamara, why don't you
put out some blue and whites.

Check all abandoned buildings
in the immediate vicinity

of the community
center, alright?

Sure.

Wait, wait. Hold up.

Torres: Nina, rewind
it. Yeah, right there.

J.c., remember that punk
that we chased back last week?

Didn't we catch him in
front of a mural just like that?

You know, I think you're right.

[Dramatic music]

Go for it, black. Let's
see how far you get.

Go on.

That's what I thought, you punk.

Just give me the damn tape.

And now... you can kiss
your little a*s good-bye.

How you know
that's the right tape?

You's a dumb kid.

I got a g*n on you, and
you still talkin' madness...

No man, all I'm sayin' is,
if that's not the right tape

and you k*ll me you ain't
gonna know where the real one.

- Yo, he right, Duane.
- Shut up!

I wasn't even talking to you.

Let me think about
this for a second though.

We got to find out, right?

Yeah, baby, yeah, this is it.

Yo, Vic, baby, it's
like the real thing, son.

Yo, you got to see this.

- It's time you let me see.
- What, what, what?

Look, what? Bam! What?! What?!

Come on, Duane,
you got the tape, man.

What you go to k*ll me for?

'Cause you might develop
a big mouth, shorty.

No, man, it ain't like that.

Yeah, I know it ain't
like that. It never will be.

Torres: Hold it!
- Police! Freeze!

Hey, on your knees.
On your knees!

Yo, back off or i'MMA blast
shorty right here and right now.

And, you'll be a
heartbeat behind him.

Oh, man, come on, I ain't
even trying to go out like that.

- Back up! J.C.: Look, my man.

Why don't you just
calm down, okay?

- I said, back up! J.C.:
Put the g*n down, okay?

- There's nowhere to go.
- Nowhere to go?

Nobody gonna blast me
while I got shorty in my arms.

So, the way I see it is
we walking up out of here.

There's no way that
is gonna happen.

[Intense music]

Okay?

[Grunts]

- Don't move!
- Hey!

Alright, you, up!

Torres: Now you're under arrest.
- Come on, fellas.

- Get this guy.
- Come on here, cuff him.

You have the right
to remain silent.

Torres: If you
give up that right...

Come on, stand up.

[Instrumental music]

Torres: You been
a busy boy, Duane.

Ballistics confirms
that it was your weapon

that k*lled not one but
three of these people.

I think we need to
refresh his memory.

Look, come on, man. I ain't
got time to be sitting here

watching no videos with y'all.

You got nothing
but time, my man.

No, codak.

Codak: Wait, miss clarita.
- Go home.

[Indistinct chatter]

Duane, break this up!

Duane: I'm not trying
to hear that from him.

Hey, hey, hey,
hey, stop this! Ah!

- What?
- [g*nsh*t]

Now, you see that, my man?

That is death.

Now, that's what happens
every time one of you punks

pull a trigger.

But, of course,
you little b*tches

never stay around for that part.

Now, you look at this real good.

You study this.

This is what you did!

The tape don't
mean nothing, man.

What's up, Duane?

What happened to your hardcore

"nobody better step
to me" mentality?

It's still there, nobody better
step to me and if they do,

they better be packing,
that's all there is to it.

Yeah, what I wanna know is
why did you have to k*ll him?

The punk showed me no respect.

Oh, yeah, what'd he
do? Steal your lollipop?

Talk about your mom?

It's like I told you before,
he tried to diss me, alright?

He walked past me with
some crazy look on his face

like he wanted it,
so I gave it to him.

Wait, wait. Are
you trying to tell me

that you popped a man
because he looked at you funny?

He shouldn't have stepped to me.

What about miss clarita?
Hmm? What did shedo?

The old lady was all
up in my business, man!

She stuck her nose
where it didn't belong.

Come on.

Process him.

Torres: Come on, let's go.

[Suspenseful music]

Carmela: So, um...

What'd you think of Gerry?

Uh, he seems okay.

[Scoffs] You are
such a terrible liar.

No, I, I checked him
out, and he's fine.

You checked out a friend?

That is going over
the line, Tommy.

I just wanted to make sure
