it's art time with Benny brush hello out

there kids it's art time again with your

wacky hes and paint brush me Vinnie

brush hey remember the last time your

mom handed you a wet sponge and she said

so clean up that mess maybe you spilled

your milk maybe you spilled your paint I

don't know but next time that happens

please up the mess real good and then

say Mom can I have this Spong and she'll

say well you're such a good little kid

for playan it up your mou of course you

can have that spun and then you can make

art with it it's easy if you just try it

and I'm going to show you how you do

this look down here what I've got I've

got sponges I've got cookie cutters I've

got paints I've got paper and what we're

going to make is a stamp pad and it's

easy if you just try it here's how you

do it you take the sponges and you can

use cookie cutters for a pattern to draw

around it but you don't have to you can

draw your own pattern and you take the

scissors like this cut them out now look

over here where I've already cut all

these out you got all kinds of shapes

after you get your shape cut out you

take your paint put paint on it now

watch this I'm going to use the heart

and I'm going to paint it red and if

your paint too thick

might want to use a little bit of water

with it okay paint it all red you get it

all covered with paint real good so it

stamp down now I'm going to come over

here where I've already made some

designs see the little clovers over here

I'm going to put the hearts in now look

at that one over here one over there

look that's really nice isn't it you

know you can make birthday cards

Christmas cards Valentine card see this

card

that part right there in the middle now

there's a Valentine's card and you can

do that for your mom it's easy just

right hey how to go this is your

mind so while I read the story I want

you all to close your eyes and try to

picture the makeb believe story that

we're reading about

once upon a time there was a beautiful

baby princess her mother and father the

king and queen were so proud of their

little princess that they threw a party

for her they invited many kind fairies

to the party and each fairy gave the

little princess wonderful gifts one said

she will be the most beautiful of all

the princesses in the world another said

she will be able to sing as beautifully

as a

bird the king and queen were so

pleased suddenly a mean fairy appeared

she was very upset that she was not

invited to the little princess's party

so she promised that one day when the

princess was older she would prick her

finger on a spindle and fall asleep

forever then she laughed a Sinister

laugh and she left just then one of the

kind fairies said I cannot undo this

terrible promise my Wicked Sister made

but I can alter

it if the princess be kissed on the

cheek by a handsome prince she will wake

up and be okay again immediately the

king made a law to have all the spindles

in the land thrown into the sea or

burned but many years later when the

princess was grown she went walking

around the

castle she went from

room to

room until she found a small room way up

at the top of the

tower she went in and met an old old

woman who had never heard the law to

throw your spindle into the

sea she was kind

the princess having never seen a spindle

before asked the old woman if she could

spin while she was spinning she pricked

her finger just as the wicked fa had

promised immediately the princess fell

into a deep

sleep and slept for 100

years then one day a handsome prince

rode into the castle saw the Sleeping

Beauty and kissed her Softly on the

cheek immediately the beautiful princess

opened her eyes and fell in love with

the handsome

prince and they lived happily ever

after
