Jeff has it Jesse fears it and Russell and Lydia desperately need it the power

of coup d'etat has been Unleashed and could turn the game upside down welcome

to Big Brother

on Big Brother America awarded one house guest of mystery power the power of coup d'etat

which gives you the once in a lifetime opportunity to overthrow the head of household and even make your own

nominations but the rest of the house guests were in the dark about who had it there's still

that wizard out there yeah so this power that we're supposed to have we're just calling it The Wizard just because you

know Wizards have magical powers with pressure mounting allies Russell

and Shima turned against one another okay

and that's ahead of household competition she took control congratulations Shima you are the new

head of household power in her hands Shima sought Revenge I nominated you Russell and you Lydia

feeling betrayed I had alliance with Shima Natalie and Jesse my lines with

him is done with Russell solidified his alliance with Jeff and I would keep it just to me you were Jordan

at The veto competition the house guests scrambled for power

Kevin congrats you when you're bling here's the power of veto my first whip

while Russell continued to push shema's buttons that was by the most insightful

thing you said I don't need to this is a house grow up here Kevin was conflicted on

whether or not to save his friend Lydia this is what you want and I'm gonna do it because this is what you're like no

here's the thing you're gonna get in like two weeks and don't do it do I maintain my safety and not use the POV

and have no enemies or do I use the POV and look out for Lydia and at The veto

meeting he made his decision I've decided to use the veto on no one

will be evicted from the Big Brother house Russell or Lydia or will Jeff use

the power of coup d'etat and shake up the house like never before it all happens now on Big Brother

good evening I'm Julie Chen welcome to big brother it's day 40 inside the Big

Brother house and with the mystery power lurking in the shadows nothing is as it

seems Shima the freelance journalist and current HOH thinks she's in control of

tonight's eviction wanting to rid the house of her arch rival Russell she put

the mixed martial arts fighter on The Chopping Block alongside Lydia the makeup artist but tonight the true power

lies in the hands of Jeff that's because last week you America voted overwhelmingly to award Jeff the coup

d'etat a special power that gives him the ability to overthrow the HOH and

change one or both of the nominees on the spot Jeff chose not to use the coup

d'etat at the last eviction so tonight is his final chance to exercise this

game-changing power the only people guaranteed safety are Shima the HOH and

7 the winner of The veto will Jeff change shima's nominees and if he does

who will he put up on the Block to replace them we'll find out shortly but

first Shima has put the targets squarely on Russell's back but with the mystery power in play it's now a moving Target

that could land anywhere so I've decided to use the veto on no

one [Music] Lydia I hope you understand I know that it's probably going to strain our

relationship and we can probably talk about a little bit later this veto meeting is now adjourned

[Music] scary yes good job the reason why I left

Lydia on the Block is because I don't want to create any more enemies and on top of that it will ensure that the

votes are there for Russell to go home you skank Lydia don't be mad at me Kevin

didn't use the power of veto on me which is totally bogus you could have saved

your best friend from the block that's not okay in my book

the two nominees I put up are still there because Kevin did not use the veto looks like Russell may be leaving the

house

guys it's fine I wanted to give you a hug thank you I know how I feel

I know Kevin wasn't going to use the veto on me so I'm going to fight to the

end I'm gonna try and find some way to get some people's heads um and really try and Lobby for some

votes [Music] are you tired

why what are you doing waiting for Thursday I guess nothing

scared what you shouldn't be scared yeah right I just want to be able to be here

and keep playing and don't have to worry about this wizard power but only the HOH and the POV holder are safe from the

power so it ain't over till it's over why are you psyching yourself out

[Music] because I've lost in this game before and I know what it feels like we

shouldn't be scared

so hypothetically if you were the wizard who'd you take off and who would you put up

how do you I don't even know what this wizard power entails well everybody in the house it's obvious

they want to know who holds the mystery power and it's been the talk the whole week somebody has it and it's not Lydia

more than likely Russell is up to something horror he has a mystery power yeah

I still think one of y'all to have that power totally Jeff yeah well I don't even know what it is man

give me gummy bears for a year I love love love having this mystery

power everyone's gonna be surprised I think when they figure out it's me uh real cute

Jesse and I have come to the conclusion that the mystery power lies either

between Jeff or Jordan so basically Jesse and I decided that we are gonna actually spend the day outside with Jeff

and Jordan and hope to get on their good side [Applause] [Music]

it's weird now how Jesse and Natalie are now trying to be my and Jeff's BFFs I

don't know what them two are up to because they scheme a lot but you know there's something scandalous going on

and I will figure it out eventually foreign

because what you think you're going to be any one of those ladies in the finals you don't think that they're at some

point gonna go hey we should probably take Jesse out because we can't win any physical competition with him in here

that you don't think for one second they're gonna band together I need four votes to stay in the house right now I

think I may have Jeff and Jordan's vote I do need to ride Jesse's a*s a little bit here and make sure I can get him on

board well it's still a tough pill to swallow known that you picked Jeff over me oh for the veto yeah so I don't know what

again you have going on with him but that was a kick right in the teeth I didn't pick Jesse to play in The veto

competition I know the reason why Jesse wanted to play in The veto competition is because it would keep him safe from

the mystery power boohoo go get Natalie to massage your back it's a game grow up

simply put with me g*n there's no shot for you to win makes perfect sense what makes perfect sense is you wanted

to be loyal to Jeff and show it to him again just like when you put up Ronnie and Ronnie went home

I'm not gonna let Russell Buffalo me anymore because he doesn't have a leg to stand on I'm gonna go off of the action

you took me winning out of my hands and into your hands if the rolls would have been reversed and I would have taken you

out of a competition if you could not fight for your own safety inside this house I have a feeling you probably

wouldn't not be that happy of a camper

I approached Michelle because I need people's boats and I have no problem

checking my pride and going to everyone and asking for votes you know I want to win this game and I'm not going to roll

over and play dead I'm gonna fight till the end

surprising in here they were so loud they woke me up it's like if you don't do anything now

or at least take a chance then what's the what's the risk because either way you're screwed in the end

Russell's talking to one of the people that very likely have the mystery power and it could be the end of my game what

he's saying to these people this is at least a chance to make a move in the game when no one else knows girl just

give me your phone what's it like four or five days ago

he's sitting here calling you crazy you're absolutely nuts off you're crazy

you need medicine yes I was okay what's what's the problem right now you know I'm gonna ask what's

the problem with that because when you were in my position what would you do you just lay over I don't know what's coming out of your mouth I really don't

huh when you were in my position did you just roll over and die I just wanted to reiterate

fair enough four or five days don't barge in there and acting like I'm some crazy guy I'm gonna say what I need to

say exactly so I said do you want to run here and tell something else profound because as far as we haven't told her anything well what did I do Jesse don't

you just want to sit here are you sure are calling her psycho straight to her face she knows obviously I call it to her face I think it's funny that he's in

here trying to feel you

what you're trying to say is I'm trying to pump her full of crap but you don't know what I said how do you know what I

said was either true or not how do you know if it was true or not yeah that's what I'm saying no I'm not I'm sorry

Michelle I thought it was hilarious I don't need you to come in here and say that I can talk to him come on

you better damn well remember that yeah but don't walk in here and act like you're all God and you're Almighty and

I've never told a lie I'm playing this game to win and you know it's just hard for me to swallow

because it's me fighting out there and here comes someone in just ruins all that work I just did I do not know who

has a mystery power I don't think it'll be used on me but that is looking like my only hope

Russell has got to go I have orchestrated his demise now it's up to my housemates to finish him off and I

look forward to dancing on his grave and he's gonna try and say something at going out the door and then I'll just be

wild animal style here because then you will see a side of me

you have not seen I'm not 100 sure that Jeff has the mystery power but I'm like

99.9 sure Jeff doesn't like drama if he uses that he knows it's gonna be

drama and it's going to be directed to him

coming up Shima is not afraid to speak her mind hear what her friends and family have to say about this outspoken

house guest and it's the final night for Jeff to use the power of coup d'etat will he use it and who will be leaving

let's go to the living room and talk with the house guests hi everybody

house guests two weeks ago you all learned that there was a mystery power in the house and Tonight is the last

night that it can be used so by a show of hands who's nervous right now

not me oh Kevin feeling pretty confident because you're the point because you're the veto winner exactly all right all

right well Kevin congratulations on winning the veto thank you Julie how hard was it for you not to use the power

veto to save your friend Lydia it was a big decision um it wasn't an easy decision I really

kind of struggled with it um but I think we're good and um hopefully Lydia will forgive me well

Lydia let me turn to you has this affected your relationship with Kevin no I still love him you hesitated

you know you love him less no it can only make us stronger so we're good okay

we're good well I just want to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone in the house right now on making it to the

halfway point which means yes give yourselves a round of applause a pat on the back

which means you will now either be in the final two

or a member of the jury of seven who will Crown the winner of Big Brother and

Natalie I want to turn to you because I want to know what you think has been the most surprising thing about this game so

far um definitely the most surprising thing is

the boredom and um in that house there's so much tension

you kidding me oh I can't imagine what your real life is like I'm coming over your house and bringing

cameras come on over Jeff let me turn to you has this game been more difficult

than you thought it would be absolutely um just all the tension all the downtime every you know you think you know got

everything figured out when you come in here and you don't you know it's every day is a mind

I'll take that note and just say thank you for not saying it thank you everyone I'll be back a little bit later

she is outspoken opinionated and never holds back so what does shima's

grandmother think of all the dramas she stirred up in the house [Music]

family of strong women I think your Grandma's watching yes my

grandma's really like she's young and hip to be a grandma

it's been a long time since I looked at this book Tina's mother joined the Navy

and so while she was doing her basic training chemo came and lived with me Chima was around three years old and

that's why we bonded she's my first grandchild Chima's name is Nigerian the

pronunciation is Chima she likes uh Shima and she's always liked it that way

[Applause] what do you think your family's gonna think of you well they know me I'm

pretty much being myself Diva Licious I'm so not a zero

I am slightly high maintenance Just a Touch

[Music] Chima and I have been friends for seven years

Chima is very much a girly girl she definitely likes to do her hair she likes to put her makeup on she likes to

be treated like a princess for sure when I take pictures I Photoshop it look

like a beauty queen after I'm done [Music] I don't know what he put on the steak

but it's too lemony or something hair is getting curly again

annoying I like to have things my way that's

about it [Music]

when I say I'm a girl's girl I mean it like I don't just say it in my actions in my whole entire life yeah Shima

thinks that men look down on women so she wants to show that she can handle

herself and be a strong woman in general like I never let a man come between me and my friends and if my friends are

being berated by a man or bully by a man I'm on her I'm like team whoever it is yeah I'm on her side also I believe it

yeah comes off very strong and very hard-headed

the fact that you just said to me you don't care what I believe makes me think that you're lying think that

right arguments like this just get you nowhere really yeah am I yeah she has strong

opinions and so you don't change them but uh I would tell Chima to listen a

little more and not be so sure about her judgment about things yes

she's just he lies about every about everybody

there should be some civility I I believe at your age at your age you

should not get personal it's gotten ugly and I didn't like that part of it at all don't believe anything that says no come

on she needs to let go of the pride and play the game that way and I definitely

think she has a chance at winning I'm more

team is an open book what you see is what you get I'm very proud of her you

know she's she's very dear to me Deuces coming up will Jeff use the power of

coup d'etat to overthrow Shima and change her nominations if so who will he

put up for eviction and how will the house react we're gonna find out next stay with us

welcome back it is the last hour of shima's reign as head of household let's talk to her privately in the HOH bedroom

hi there Seema hi Julie now all your housemates are downstairs in the living room they can't hear you so speak your

mind as you normally do oh yes so she will let me ask you one day you and

Russell are friends there's even some flirting going on you guys are allies the next minute you guys are mortal

enemies how do things go so wrong so fast between you two well Russell the

whole time I thought we were friends best friends as he called it was speaking of me behind my back in a

negative way I'm spreading lies around the house bullying other people every conversation with him you know was

negative towards another housemate so it was inevitable that I found out all these things and it turned quickly into

enemies well let me ask you this you've both said harsh things to one another yes do you have any regrets on anything

you've either said to him or about him actually no I do not I feel like everything that he said to me was above

and beyond what needed to be said when I argue I prefer to stick to the issues he's the one that wanted to have

personal attacks and so I met him Toe to Toe face to face and I don't regret

anything that happened on my part in the final second Shima as you know there's been this mystery power that has loomed

during both Russell's reign as HOH and yours yes has it affected your strategy

as head of household and if so how well I definitely had to mull it over but

inevitably I just I had to like throw it to the side because I have to do what I have to do my main goal is getting

Russell out of the house he's my main target and that's what I'm focused upon we'll see what happens thank you Shima

you can go back downstairs thank you you're welcome bye it is time for the live voting to begin

but before we start Jeff will have one last chance to use the power of coup

d'etat and change shima's nominations will he take this opportunity to make

one of the biggest game moves in Big Brother history let's return to the living room and find out

house guests the Voting is about to begin but first

as you know America has given one of you a mystery power now it was not used at

the last eviction which means that tonight is the last chance for it to be used so

if the holder of the mystery power would like to use it

please stand now I knew it house guests as you can see

America has granted Jeff the mystery power and he has decided to use it

Jordan once you pick your jaw up off the ground I'm going to tell you a little bit more about this mystery power it's

called the coup d'etat Jeff has the ability

to overthrow the head of household Shima and change one or both of her nominees

however Shima as head of household and Kevin as winner of the power veto

neither one of you can be put on the Block everyone else is eligible for nomination

officially no head of household both Shima and Jeff will join everyone still in the house and compete later in

tonight's HOH competition that's an important note to make now Jeff you've

chosen to exercise the power of coup d'etat I have would you like to take Lydia off

the regular couches you have been saved from eviction by Jeff so Jeff

this is just a game and um that's all I really got to say I know you're upset but you guys run this house

haven't had a chance to feel the block and I got a power and now I I got the power and you guys got to feel the pain

Natalie Jessie one of you will be leaving the Big Brother house tonight

um I guess I was right to be worried about this power um I could say one thing I can't say

anything bad about Jesse he's not only been a great friend he's been a great Ally and I would love to talk to him

outside his house and um I've been loyal in this house there's certain people

that I've given my word to and I have not gone back on my word um so if I go home tonight I will leave

knowing that I have been loyal and when I said something it was true and um yeah

if you guys think you can get further in this game by keeping me here then please vote for me and if not I understand

best move that you've done so far congratulations man I saw it coming I've

been loyal to everybody that I've talked to um and I've proven it in my actions I mean you've gotten the short end of the

Jesse will be leaving the Big Brother house tonight let's now give them the news

house guests just a reminder when I reveal the vote the evicted house guest

will have just a few moments to say goodbye and walk out that front door

by a vote of three to two Jesse you are evicted from the Big

Brother house

Jesse we heard you say you have this sinking suspicion that Jeff had this

mystery power and you were right and yes I was America and I didn't like Jesse

last season in America from last year not like you

for not giving you the power coup d'etat there was a lot of competition let's talk about this because you

thought okay I think Jeff has this mystery power and when you thought this how come you didn't spend tons of face

time with him trying to work him a little bit because I gave my word I told him I had other people that I was going

to put up if I want HOA but this is this is a competition to win a half million

dollars I mean word you know we've seen you break your word before everybody does the Big Brother house it's part of

the game and yet the last two weeks you knew this power was looming and people watch you

on the internet feed sleeping for 12 or 13 hours a day one beautiful thing what gives why didn't you play a little

harder it wouldn't matter he already had in his head that he didn't have any power and

that's what it really came down to so it was it was this best move for him it really was it was a good move and you

said that which was big of you I'll be a sports Entertainer no worries well before you do that you'll be in the jury

must put two house guests on The Chopping Block who will be the new head of household let's find out house guests

the power is up for grabs now as you all know the best way to ensure your safety

week to week is to win this competition lose and you could be packing your bags

that's why this game is called Hit the road and here's how it works two at a

time you will face off at the podium and answer a question based on previous competitions you have had this summer

the answer to each question will be one of the following HOH have have not or

veto the goal is to be the first person to buzz in with the correct answer

answer correctly you stay in the game and your opponent is eliminated you will then choose the next two house

guests to Face Off answer incorrectly and you will be eliminated

if no one buzzes in you will both be eliminated unless of course you are the

final two in this competition the last person standing will be the new

head of household does everyone understand yes

very good the first two house guests to Face Off were chosen at random earlier today Kevin and Lydia let's begin

question one in this competition you may have let out

a groan if you didn't land your ball into the honeycomb

Kevin h-o-h is correct it was the buzzworthy competition Lydia you've been

eliminated step to the side don't get back on the bus Kevin you can pick the

next two house guests to Face Off in Russell

Jeff and Russell step on up as we move on to question two

this competition didn't have a cabana but it did dress Casey up like a giant

banana Russell Have and Have Not is incorrect it was a veto competition when pigs fly

Jeff who would you like to see face off um Shima and Natalie okay

ladies question three this competition swept you off your feet

as you clung to a hanging toilet seat Shima HOH is correct sorry Natalie

stepped down Shima before you stepped down pick the next two to Face Off Jeff and Jordan Jeff and Jordan step on up to

the podiums [Music] moving on to question four

this game could have been a major bummer if you despised being a glow-in-the-dark

plumber Jeff have have not is correct that was

the neon Factory competition stepped down Jordan Jeff picked the next two house guests to Face Off Kevin and Chima

question five this competition got very intense when you had to collect dollars in cents

Kevin Vito is correct that was the Big Brother mint competition Shima you're

out and the next two to Face Off are obviously Michelle and Jeff

step up to the podium as we move on to question six

in this competition your memory had to suffice after America called to give you

advice shell HOH is correct it was the say what

competition so stay up there Kevin is going to join you Michelle and Kevin one of you is about to become the new head

of household question seven this competition was both complex and

simple if you had the nerve to pop a pimple Michelle correct congratulations you are

the new head of household shame I hand over that key to the HOH bedroom to

Michelle's congratulations
