- [Narrator] Previously on Street Sharks.

- Stop, Paradigm, you can't mess with nature,

I won't allow it.

(cringing and screaming)

- Doctor Paradigm, Doctor Bolton never showed up

for his morning lecture. - Really?

- But he's never late, never.

I think we should call his sons.

- His sons, that's a good idea, Lena, a very good idea.

- [Together] Oh no!

(screaming)

- We're opening a new ride, the Street Sharks.

- Street Sharks, I like it, I like it!

(mysterious music)

- I'm glad to offer my services,

anything for my government, and the furthering of science.

A little more sodium pentathol before we start

the exploratory surgery.

- You mean gene slamming. - Hey, find someone else.

- Yeah, forget it, I ain't no stinking guinea pig.

- And what's gonna do to my social life.

- Where's our dad?

- Just as I suspected, this is Doctor Burton's work.

(sighs) What kind of monster would do this to his own sons?

Well shall we move on to the exploratory surgery?

(heart rate monitor beeping)

Seven feet around, unbelievable.

- But I'm Doctor Paradigm's research assistant,

he said that I can assist on the surgery.

Doctor Paradigm!

Doctor Paradigm!

Come on you twisted chromozoid.

- Let her in, I did say she could help.

I want to get back to this shark monster.

- We'll see who's the monster here,

I'm gonna shut you down.

- Perfect.

- Well now I'll just get my scrubs.

(mysterious tense music)

(gasps)

(fire alarm sounded)

- Hurry, please the shark has broken loose!

That way!

(struggling and moaning)

I hope I'm doing the right thing.

Wake up this is no time to sleep,

Doctor Paradigm is about to fillet your brother.

- What!

Where is he?

- That way. (trembling)

- [Street Sharks] Shark attack!

- Let's kick some fin.

- Cool!

- Now we'll discover where the human ends,

and the shark begins.

Huh?

- [Together] Shark Attack!

(rock music)

- O, bro.

(cringing in pain)

- [Doctor Paradigm] Put me down.

- No problem.

First my dad, now my brother...

Lesson about sharks, great whites are always hungry.

- You can't intimidate me.

- Oh yeah.

- Feeding frenzy.

- Exploratory surgery, huh?

- Scalpel.

- You're crazy

- Will you settle for this?

- Guards, get me out of here!

Taser them!

- Incoming!

- No, our beef's not with them.

- let's go.

Later Paradigm.

- Incompetents, help me up.

- [Ripster] Lunch time!

- Bends, meet us at the loading dock now.

- Already waiting, but we got company.

- The door's stuck.

- When in doubt, rip it out.

- Whoa, you are the rip meister,

the big ripper, the Ripster.

- The Ripster, I like that.

Whoa!

(rock music)

- Dead out for the count.

- Nailed em!

- Munch!

- Jawsome!

- Let's go, this train is leaving the station.

(police sirens)

(tires skidding)

- [together] Whoa!

- [Lena] Bends, there's no way out.

- [Bends] There's always a way out,

some are just a little more dangerous than others.

- What does that mean? - [Together] Whoa!

- Now let's have some fun.

- [Lena] Careful Bends.

- Got to tumble.(screaming)

- And I thought I was extreme.

- [Together] Whoa!

- After you.

- After me gentlemen, and lady.

- Where are we?

- The steam tunnels they run under the entire university,

and the comic book store, come on.

(tense music)

- Cool!

- [Bends] Yo sharks, welcome to the Bendman's humble abode,

we've got your basic entertainment center,

your workout room, check out the bite marks in

that boogie board, your giant screen TV, your workshop,

whatever you need, if we don't got it, we'll make it.

- Where are we Bends. - Scope it out.

- [Ripster] Under the hockey.

Whoa, the Squids.

- [Bends] Fission City's finest, better than season tickets.

- Doctor Paradigm will never think of looking for you here.

- Why not?

He must know Bends are our bud.

- The good doctor doesn't think like you and I,

Ripster, what do you expect from a guy who

graduated from college at the age of nine.

- Certainly not common sense.

- [TV Reporter] Hey it's the sky guy coming at you

from good old FSU that's Fission State University,

where those shark monsters were spotted earlier,

making their grand exit.

- Shark monsters?

- Get with the program pal,

we're the Street Sharks.

- [Together] Yeah!

Jawsome!

- Hey, check this out, these are the shark creatures

before their famous geneticist father played Frankenstein

with their DNA and turned them into street sharks.

- That's a lie. - Dad!

- Totally outrageous! - What?

- Um guys.

- Sorry Bends, maybe we can fix it.

- Oh, sorry.

- Got any salt?

- Maybe I'll go get something, pizza okay?

- [Together] Pizza? (cringes)

- How about burgers and shakes, okay?

- Um, how do I get out of here?

- Why I thought you'd never ask.

(gasps)

- Your shop, great.

- Yeah and if this is ever locked,

there's a back way in the comic book store next door.

Listen guys, how about getting around town without

always tearing up the streets?

- If you're gonna be the Street Sharks,

you need primo vehicles.

- Alright, give me the keys, and let me at it.

- Idiots, don't you realize you are taking on the

greatest scientific breakthrough since the building of the

atomic b*mb?

- As lab rats you thinks, doc?

- Don't mess with me, robozara.

- Garbage in garbage out.

I could just modify their DNA, make them obey me.

So close to what I'd envisioned, monumentally strong,

and resilient, resistant to disease, just like the shark,

the perfect predator, I must get them back and eradicated,

then they will be perfect, except for one pitiful

human weakness, loyalty to their friends.

Wait we can use that.

Bends, capture him, and the Street Sharks are mine.

(mysterious music)

- Get him.

- Alright, ready to ride.

(revving motors)

- Paradigm time.

- Eat asphalt, Street Sharks.

- Whoa!

- You need an attitude adjustment.

- Alright!

- He's all yours, Ripster.

- Let me go, or I'm gonna rip your fin off,

and make soup out of it.

- Can't have that.

- Woo, major fin action, guys.

- Whoa, hey!

- Let him go, Paradigm, this is between us.

- You're so predictable just like your do-gooder father,

exactly what I was counting on.

- The stadium alarm.

Listen up Street Sharks, I'm not staying around to meet the

authorities, my demands are simple,

surrender to me at the old nuclear plant,

or I'll green bio engineer your friend, Bends here,

into a bio monstrosity so repulsive, so deformed,

even a starving piranha wouldn't look twice at him.

One hour, Street Sharks, on your father's watch.

- Oh, not again.

Time to bail.

These guys aren't the enemy.

(rock music)

- [TV Reporter] Is Fission City hot tonight, or what.

Just picked up the word on the police scanner,

those street sharks have been spotted near Fifth and Main.

Lock your doors, and count your toes, and fingers, misters.

(rock music)

- Oh no!

- Sayonara suckers.

(screaming)

Easiest g's I ever--

What's that?

Hit it!

(screaming)

- Happy landing bottom-feeders.

- Uh-oh.

Got to safe 'em.

(sound train horn)

- Hustle guys, we've only got ten minutes

to get to the plant before Doctor Paradigm scrambles

Bends' DNA.

- I was supposed to go out tonight,

instead look what I got a date with.

- Date?

This is a trap. - Yeah it's our trap.

We'll save Bends by faking our own surrender,

and mash those DNA disasters into anchovy paste.

- And find out what happened to dad, come on!

(sneering)

- Hey, he wears that, no way.

- Jab, it's for Bends, we play along till we find him.

- Perfect.

- What's with the still overcoat, dude?

- My power suit, just evening the odds a bit,

but not for long.

Too weak.

Too slow.

Too small.

Oh yes, piranha; ruthless, unrelenting savage,

just what the Street Sharks need to eradicate

that inhibiting human compassion of theirs.

- Wait you're gonna add piranha DNA to the Street Sharks?

- Yes, but I'm testing it on you first.

- Sorry, I asked.

- Easier that fishing for goldfish.

- Make that guppies.

Move it.

- [Jab] Anytime, bro.

- [Ripster] Now sounds good to me.

- [Street Sharks] Shark attack!

(sneering and growling)

(tense music)

- Piranha DNA, oh man what's my dentist gonna say?

No!

- [Street Sharks] Shark attack!

(rock music)

- No!

(screaming)

- Alright professor, time for answers,

where's Bolton?

- Yeah Frankenstein, and where's the antidote

that'll turn us back again?

- We want it now.

(tense music)

- Oh man, this guy needs an orthodontist.

- Yuck, more like a plastic surgeon.

- [Ripster] Doctor Paradigm.

- Forget Paradigm, he's a piranha now.

- Hey, then that makes him doctor Piranoid.

(growling)

- Move it, Bends, get outta here.

(screaming)

- Yo sharks!

It's in here.

- Now that I'm safe and sound in the over collider,

I'm going to blast you into chromosomes Street Sharks.

Chromosomes, I will recombine with other stronger DNA

to nullify all those other pitiable human frailties.

You'll need no sleep, never be susceptible to disease,

have physical strength beyond your wildest imaginings,

the perfect organism, perfect, but best of all,

human emotions will hold no sway over you.

Pity, remorse, love, a distant ugly memory.

- What's he saying? - Nothing good.

- Kiss your DNA goodbye, Street Sharks.

(gasps)

(tense music)

(theme song instrumental)
