Reading that the Hulk has become
a hero by averting a tragedy,

the evil Ringmaster
plots to capture him

by hypnotising and kidnapping
his friend Rick Jones,

hoping that the Hulk
will come to his rescue.

The strange carnival procession
heads for its next destination,

with Rick Jones held c*ptive
in one of the circus wagons,

a foil of the Ringmaster's
sinister scheme to capture the Hulk.

Back in his cave,
the Hulk, having rested,

steps on the buttons that activate
the awesome gamma rays,

to turn himself
into Dr Bruce Banner, scientist.

I feel ill.

I'd better rest a while.
My head.

These changes
take so much out of me.

Meanwhile, General Ross is griping
as usual to his daughter Betty.

I can't understand
how that boy disappeared.

- There's not a trace of him.
- There's Bruce.

He might know
about Rick's disappearance.

Hi, Bruce. You're just in time.
Maybe you can help Dad.

- They can't locate Rick Jones.
- He's nowhere to be found.

But wherever he is, I've a hunch
the Hulk will be there too.

- What do you think?
- I've no idea.

- Have you sent out search parties?
- Yes, of course.

And alerted the army to be on the
lookout for the Hulk as well as Rick.

I wish I could help you. I'd better
be going. I'll drop in another time.

But, Bruce, you've just arrived.

Sorry. I just remembered something
I must do. I'll see you soon.

I can't understand
what could have happened to Rick.

I must get back to the cave
to see if he could be there.

He's not here.
Whether I like it or not,

I'll have to turn myself
into the Hulk again.

it's the only way to find him.

Once more, the mild scientist,
Dr Banner,

becomes the rampaging
Incredible Hulk.

Here's another town pillaged.

If they don't find out something
soon, the people will begin to panic.

to the greatest show of all.

You are about to witness
our miraculous main attraction.

I want you to concentrate

on the circular lines on my hat.

Watch the stars spinning.

Round and around and around.

Keep watching.

And once more, the Ringmaster casts
his spell over the spectators,

to pursue his devious scheme.

And now for the town itself.

Take money, jewels,
everything that isn't nailed down.

As the Ringmaster hypnotises
the inhabitants,

his performers continue
their looting.

You know, Bruto,
this is just too easy.

Just keep pedalling, doll.
There's more to grab.

Wait, Tina. Here's some
more jewellery you missed.

Alright, now, back to the caravan.

There are many more towns
for the Ringmaster to visit.

You'd better let me out of here
before the Hulk comes.

He'll tear you apart
and the circus, too.

You fool. I want him to
attempt to rescue you.

That's what we're waiting for.

OK, it's your funeral. He'll come
and really fix your circus wagon.

I wonder if he got my message
before I blacked out.

I'd better try to reach him again.

Into the very heart of the metropolis
leaps the Hulk, searching,

when suddenly a thought wave
from Rick assails his brain.

Hulk, come to me.
I need you.

Boy in danger.
Got to get to him.

Hey, Charlie, you see what I see
in that rear-view mirror?

I don't see...
No, it can't be. But it is.

It was the Hulk, but we missed him.

Let me out of here.
I won't stop yelling until you do.

You'd better do something about
that kid. He's yelling his head off.

The Hulk won't rest until he finds
him, but we'd better shut him up.

you'd better unlock this crummy cage.

The evil Ringmaster
has hypnotised Rick again,

thereby breaking mental contact
with the Hulk.

and the Hulk soars aimlessly about,

unable to locate the boy.

How will Rick escape
the Ringmaster's diabolical plan?
