to rescue Bruce Banner,

being held for ransom
by the bandit chief Kanga Khan.

Fleeing, Banner and Talbot
are victims of a crumbling trail,

and Banner plummets down
into an abyss.

Plunging toward certain doom,
the terrible shock exploding in Banner

produces the most spectacular
physical change ever recorded.

In an instant, he again becomes
the Incredible Hulk.

Above, the cliff is claiming
another victim.

In the fury of the fall,
Glenn Talbot blacks out.

Man falling.
Hulk will catch.

Vainly, the Hulk tries
to comprehend the situation.

He leaps high over the nearest peak
and again from mountain to mountain.

Even the broad Pacific is no problem
for the incredible leviathan,

leaping from island to island.

on the murderous precipice,
