Dr. Hans Zarkov and Dale Ardenhave joined me, Flash Gordon,

on a fantastic journey
into worlds where

peril and adventure await us.

[music playing]

NARRATOR: Taken by Vultan tohis Sky City, Flash, Barin,

and the Lion Man, Thun,escaped the Arborian partisans,

only to face new dangers
as Ming attacks the city

to rescue Princess Aura.

The metalmen capture thecity, but Flash saves Vultan.

King pledges to join

in the fight against Ming.

And now, Chapter Four--

"To Save Earth."

[vultan laughs]

I never dreamed that we threewould be brothers in arms.

It is the only
hope we have to stand

against Ming the Merciless.

[music playing]

with Dr. Zarkov.

[electronic pulses]

[laughter]

Do not be alarmed.

I am Zarkov.

Sorry if I sounded a
bit on the spooky side.

I'm just getting the
hang of this astral

projector gadget of Ming's.

Another Earthman.

My good friend, Dr. Hans Zarkov.

In a few hours now, Mongowill orbit past Earth.

Ming has prepared an energyshield to protect Mongo.

But the effects on Earth
would be catastrophic.

Great earthquakes.

Tidal waves.

Leaving Earth prey
to Ming's armies.

ZARKOV: Oh, I do
closely watched.

The planetary drive that
Ming used to bring Mongo

into our solar system

guarded than anything else.

Look-- Ming's fliers retreat.

Be assured, they will returnin overwhelming numbers.

fighters into the city.

Arboria is yours, my friends.

will keep the outer

hull of the mekko-mole
cool for an hour or two.

We can't get any
traction in this stuff.

through the magma.

The mekko-mole must be heavierthan the molten igneous rock.

We'll get out of this yet.

Now, let's see what surprisesMing may have planned for us.

It seems I have

In minutes now, Mongo willcreate panic on your Earth

by its passage, and then myarmies will march to conquest.

[diabolical laugh]

In that case, there's

[sounds of the battle]

time getting after us.
