MAN: Look, up on the building!
It's Spider-Woman!
NARRATOR: And this is Jessica Drew,
who as a child,
while visiting her father's laboratory,
was bitten by a poisonous spider.
Forced to try an untested spider serum,
Dr. Drew not only saved
his daughter's life,
but unknowingly gave her
incredible spider-like powers.
Dedicated to fighting evil
while weaving her web of justice,
it's Spider-Woman!
[GROWLING]
PILOT 1:
This is Bluejay One to Rescue Fleet.
We're directly over the Bermuda Triangle
where Squadron Seven disappeared.
There's no sign of land
or any aircraft wreckage.
Switching to course 289.
PILOT 2:
All clear to the southeast.
PILOT 1:
What's that?
PILOT 2: Bluejay Two to Bluejay One,
my instruments have gone haywire.
Losing control. Can't keep her on course.
Oh, no!
Admiral, Bluejay One and Two
have vanished.
We've got to find out what's happened.
There's the aircraft carrier,
Aunt Jessica.
Good. Now that Admiral Hubbard
has finally granted us an interview,
maybe we'll get to the bottom of those
Bermuda Triangle disappearances.
JESSICA:
Good afternoon, admiral.
I'm Jessica Drew from Justice Magazine.
I'm sorry.
There's no time for an interview.
Two more of my jets have disappeared.
Proceed with takeoff.
PILOT: I'm over the Triangle, Admiral.
I don't see a thing.
Wait a minute. Oh, no!
JESSICA: Sizzling spider venom,
that jet pilot's in bad trouble.
I've got to act fast.
[STAMMERING]
I think the ocean is getting to me.
I better get myself some fresh air.
JESSICA:
Now to weave a quick spider change.
PILOT: I'm losing control. I can't see.
I've got to turn this jet around.
-JESSICA: What's up?
-BILLY: The jet's landed.
PILOT: I don't know
what happened out there, Admiral,
but I barely escaped.
This situation has become
much too dangerous.
You civilians will have to leave.
JEFF: Come on, Jessica.
There's nothing here.
I told you this Bermuda Triangle stuff
was just a bunch of...
What was that?
Uh, probably just an air pocket.
That's no air pocket.
JEFF:
Oh, no. The instruments are going crazy.
JESSICA: What on earth?
We've passed through
some sort of invisible force field.
Yeah. And get a load of that.
It looks like a prehistoric island.
What was that?
I don't know. But whatever it was,
it just knocked out our controls.
We're going down.
I think we'd better get out
and find out where we are.
JESSICA:
It's incredible.
This must be where all the ships
and planes have disappeared to.
Right. And now that we've found it,
what do you say we get out of here?
BILLY: Golly, Aunt Jessica.
We're not going across that, are we?
JEFF: Of course not, Billy.
It's far too dangerous.
JESSICA:
You two can stay here if you want.
That bridge looks perfectly safe to me.
[CREAKING]
Jessica, wait.
You don't know what you're doing.
This bridge is too dangerous for you.
[CREATURE ROARING]
JEFF:
It's...
a dinosaur!
Come on, let's get out of here.
[CREATURE CAWING]
Oh, no, we're trapped.
BILLY:
I wish Spider-Woman were here.
JEFF:
I'd prefer the U.S. Army.
Great spider bites,
I can't change into Spider-Woman
without being seen.
[CAWING]
[STAMMERING]
It looks like we're finished.
Not yet. Someone's got to stop
those Mesozoic menaces.
And it might as well be me.
[GROWLING]
Hey, you oversized lizard,
why don't you go lay a 10-foot egg?
Aunt Jessica!
JEFF:
Jessica!
We'd better go after them.
[CAWING]
-BILLY: Help!
-JEFF: Help!
-BILLY: Help!
-JEFF: Help!
I think it's time
I weaved a spider change.
[ROARING]
And now to get back to Billy and Jeff.
JEFF: [STAMMERING]
I can't hold on.
BOTH:
Help!
It's time for a high-speed spider spiral.
Spider-Woman! You got here just in time.
JEFF: Yeah, to save us.
But what about Jessica?
A dinosaur carried her away.
We've got to save her.
Okay. You two stay here,
and I'll see if I can find her.
Wow, isn't she something?
JEFF: Yeah, but you know,
I can handle myself too.
Tork, take care of intruders.
JEFF:
Huh?
Jeff? Billy!
They're gone.
JESSICA: Wandering spider webs,
they've been captured by cave people.
And if my spider-senses are right,
I haven't got a moment to lose.
MORRISON:
So you think you can come to my island
and take it away from me, do you?
Well, you can't.
Uh... But you're mistaken.
We didn't come to take anything from you.
That's what they all say
when I catch them.
But I know better.
Ever since I discovered
this prehistoric paradise,
people have been coming out here
to take it away from me.
That's why I created
this computerized force field projector,
to stop the jets and ships.
Say, aren't you Dr. Morrison,
the scientist
who disappeared 30 years ago?
Yes, but I rule this island now.
And with my integrated mind link,
I control the actions
of every man and beast on it.
The outside world is getting too close.
I have a plan
that will take care of all of you.
JESSICA:
In that case...
I'll have to stop you now.
Spider-Woman? Stop her!
[GRUNTING]
Haven't you guys ever heard of fair play?
Good sportsmanship?
I guess not.
Looks like I've captured
a couple of prehistoric puppets.
Get her!
BOTH:
Spider-Woman!
You three won't be troubling me
any longer.
Take them to the cave dungeon.
JEFF:
Spider-Woman, are you all right?
I'll be a lot better when we get out
of this prehistoric prison.
[STAMMERING] Where's Aunt Jessica?
Don't worry, Billy. She's all right.
Spider-Woman, look.
JESSICA:
Those must be all the people
who disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle.
Wow, what a story!
Yeah. I just hope
we get to tell it to someone.
[ALARM SOUNDING]
MORRISON: Soon the outside world will
learn to leave my island alone.
And New York will be the first
to learn its lesson.
Cavemen ready.
Good. Prepare...
[ALARM WAILING]
Those fools. They think
their navy can stop me, do they?
[SNIGGERING] My attack fleet
will surprise them.
Get the cave crew to their jets.
I'll blast them out of the water.
JEFF: It's no use, Spider-Woman.
This cell is made of solid rock and iron.
There's no way out.
BILLY:
Spider-Woman, take a look at this.
JESSICA: Great arachnids,
those cavemen are boarding the jets.
CAVEMAN:
Use laser rays. Destroy ships.
They must be going
to attack a naval convoy.
JEFF: And there's nothing we can do
to stop them.
Well, maybe there is. Stand back.
If I use all of my venom blast energy,
I may be able to melt that lock.
I can't keep this up much longer.
Are you all right, Spider-Woman?
Yeah.
Come on. We've got to get out of here.
You two, head back to your copter
and try to find Jessica.
I'll take care
of those prehistoric pilots.
MAN: Still no sign
of Bluejay One and Two, admiral.
[BEEP]
Wait a minute.
Six jets just appeared out of nowhere.
They're on an attack course.
All hands, battle stations.
[ALARM SOUNDING]
MORRISON: This is Dr. Morrison
to Squadron Leader Tork.
Activate litholasers
and destroy the fleet.
PILOT: This is Bluejay Three.
My jet's turned to solid rock.
I'm bailing out.
Great spider venom!
I've got to do something
before this entire fleet is wiped out.
Those no-good Neanderthals
aren't fooling around.
Now to activate my mind link.
[ROARING]
ADMIRAL:
Thanks for your help, Spider-Woman.
We're not through yet.
We've got to stop Dr. Morrison
before he launches his attack
against the world.
ADMIRAL:
Right. I'll regroup the fleet.
MORRISON: It won't do you any good,
admiral. You're too late.
My dinosaurs are in New York
at this very moment.
[LAUGHING]
We've got to act quickly.
I'll meet you in New York.
-MAN 1: Look, a dinosaur!
-MAN 2: Let's get out of here!
MAN 3: Hey, run. Get out of here.
-MAN 3: Dinosaur! Oh, no!
-MAN 2: Hurry!
Those dinosaurs will teach them
not to bother me on my secret island.
-WOMAN: Look out!
-MAN: Get out of its way.
[ALARM WAILING]
[DINOSAUR ROARING]
[DINOSAUR CAWING]
[ALARM SOUNDING]
It's no use, admiral. We can't stop them
without threatening the city.
Sorry I don't have time
for a formal introduction, Ms. Liberty.
[DINOSAUR CAWING]
JESSICA: But there are
more pressing matters at hand.
Looks like I've gotten myself tongue-tied.
[TIRES SQUEALING]
JESSICA: Sizzling super-spiders,
that truck's about to fall.
I'm afraid we'll have to continue
our little argument some other time.
[DINOSAUR CAWING]
[GRUNTING]
[DINOSAUR ROARING]
So she thinks she can stop me, does she?
[BEEPING]
[DINOSAUR ROARING]
My venom blast
should teach you some manners.
[DINOSAUR ROARING]
Of course.
I can't stop all the dinosaurs,
but I can stop
Dr. Morrison's control craft.
Now to trap that worm like a fly.
No!
JESSICA: This should do it.
[DINOSAUR GROWLING]
[DINOSAURS ROARING]
ADMIRAL: Thanks again
for your help, Spider-Woman.
We'll see
that this primitive island is protected
from any others like Dr. Morrison.
Good. Perhaps now there won't be any more
strange disappearances
in the Bermuda Triangle.
Speaking of disappearances,
we've still got to find Jessica.
Oh, she's all right.
I saw her near the lagoon
on the other side of the island.
There she is.
Aunt Jessica, are you all right?
Who, me? I'm fine.
Just let me rest a moment
and we'll keep searching
for those missing pilots.
Forget it, Jessica.
While you were busy being lost,
we wrapped up the whole story.
Everyone's safe and sound now.
Oh, that's great.
I guess we can go home now,
and I can finally clean myself up.
Good idea, Jessica.
I don't know how you ever managed
to get so dirty in the first place.
[LAUGHING]
To tell you the truth,
I managed it just like you did,
only a little more gracefully.
[LAUGHING]
