I don't spend that much time with you.

Good evening.

I'm Julie Chen.

Welcome to "Big Brother ."

It has been over a week since our house guests

walked into their new home.

And already, friendships are beginning to form

and strategy is coming into play.

Tonight, Jennifer, the restaurant hostess from Texas,

and Mike, the commercial painter from Michigan,

are nominated for eviction.

Which one will be the first house guest to be evicted

from the "Big Brother" house?

Meanwhile, Project Do Not Assume--

Project DNA-- continues.

First, Jennifer and Michael discover they are actually

half-brother and sister.

Now, a second shocking twist to project DNA.

Since day two, identical twins have

been switching places in the house

and playing the "Big Brother" game as one.

And the other house guests have no idea.

Tonight, you'll find out the identity of the twins

and we'll see them switch places in the house live.

But first, as the eviction approaches,

the powerful influence of the four horsemen

has its first setback, as Mike rallies the house guests

to take sides on who should go.

Will it be Jennifer or Mike?

- Come on. - Good job.

With the four horsemen, I have kind of become, like.

In a leadership role.

Good job.

I think I have the intellect to sort of be

the puppet master in the house.

It's on.

You know, the gloves are off.

Jennifer could help the four horsemen

and, you know, four horsemen help her as well.

This game is--

This is a tough game.

Ugh.

It's all right here.

You know, we know it exists that we share the same father.

Now we've got to go on and like it don't bother us.

I see one reason for Nakomis to be evicted this week.

And that's because she has a brother in the house.

I don't think it would be fair for me to have

my brother in the house.

Gaining trust with the boys does have its perks, since I'm

seeing them being HOH.

And me gaining trust with them really helps, you know,

keep me here for a while.

And then me getting in with the chicks, which

is probably my stronger alliance,

I'm pretty much covered either way.

Oh, definitely.

Michael probably feels more strongly

about Jennifer or Nakomis being his sister

than she does about him.

I think that she is basically a floater who's trying to connect

in any way that she can.

And I think that's a vote that's very dangerous.

Sleep good, Michael.

I think that I would be just fine with Jennifer

being the one walking out the door.

It looks perfect.

The Holly and Jase relationship is baffling.

I think they like each other.

I think that they're both a little bit crazy.

I know they spend a lot of time together.

He sat me down last night and was like, I like her so much.

But that sucks because everything I say to him,

he runs and tells her.

You can't say anything to her anymore.

God only knows what all else can do.

Mm, you smell good.

You smell like apples and cologne mixed together.

She's so annoying about it.

I can't take it.

Their relationship could be an alliance.

It could be some kind of strategy.

We're all a little bit weary.

There's a very strong alliance in the house

that needs to be broken up.

There is only one real alliance in the house.

And it is Jase and Scott.

Am I the only one in here that sees this, or what?

I definitely see it.

And I've been trying to get to the people in the house.

The biggest threat in the house to me is Jase and Scott.

They are the threat that we should all be working against.

You guys got to do it while the numbers are against them,

you know?

It don't matter to me which one goes, as long as one of them

goes. - One of them.

And then you think that because Jase and Holly are

a couple now, that's anything?

Everything's something.

I mean, Cowboy and Nakomis are an issue.

They're fam-- they're related.

Yeah.

And you ain't got no brother sitting in here.

You know what I mean?

You're right.

I never really had a problem with Mike.

I actually don't feel % for Mike being voted out.

What advice do you have for me?

If you want to win, they gotta go, you know what I mean?

Put-- if you would get them two out, then everybody else is--

you know what I mean?

You know what I'm saying?

Yeah.

I would love to, you know, have Mike

around for a little bit longer so I

could pick some more of his knowledge out of his brain.

So, you know, I could definitely say that it'd

be valuable to keep him around.

you know, situation, her being on the block.

But, you know, we've talked, you know, this week.

And if it does happen, there's always outside

of the "Big Brother" house.

And this was a great opportunity for both of us.

So, we've always wanted a--

she wanted an older brother.

I wanted a younger sister.

So here we are. JULIE: All right.

Yeah. JULIE: Thank you, Michael.

Hi, Julie.

JULIE: Hi there.

You took the $, and forced the whole house on PB and J

for a week.

[laughter]

Marvin was so happy about that.

Yeah, I know.

JULIE: Any regrets about that decision?

I had a little bit of regrets at the beginning.

But everyone was really supportive.

Everyone here is great.

They've been great.

So there wasn't too much complaining going on about it.

So-- JULIE: OK.

--I'm pretty glad I did. [laughter]

JULIE: All right.

Is it my imagination, Scott, or do the guys seem just

a little bit more high maintenance in the looks

department than the girls?

At this point, I don't see another reason

for keeping Mike.

He's too much of a threat right now.

Mike is a strong player.

He's very intelligent.

He doesn't want Jase or Scott to win.

He feels that they're dominating the game physically.

Mike does know the game.

And so that does pose a threat to everybody in the house.

Jennifer, like I said, is very smart.

She's using her differentness to kind of get

some sympathy from the group.

Main reason I would vote Jennifer out

is she's just a little bit too cagey for me.

She's not really showing a whole lot of her hand.

When somebody don't show their hand, that show you

they got a little bit of game.

You know, it's just something ain't right.

Welcome back to "Big Brother ."

Project DNA is well underway.

Just days after moving into the house,

Jennifer and Michael made a shocking discovery.

They share the same biological father.

Michael has never met his dad.

Jennifer has known him all her life.

When Michael and Jennifer were first

chosen to live in the "Big Brother" house,

their parents had no idea of this family connection.

They found out just days before the show began.

Let's see how Michael's mother and his newly found father

are reacting to this incredible news.

This season on "Big Brother," we have a shocking new twist.

For the first time ever, we have two house guests

who are related by blood.

Jennifer has known her dad for her entire life.

But Michael has never even met him.

That's a twist.

What's going through my mind right now?

Want to tell "Big Brother" thank you.

I have always wanted a son.

And up until now, I didn't realize that I had one.

And now I do.

I wish I had known about him.

CHRISTINE LEE: With Michael finding out on "Big Brother"

that he has a half-sister, that was great.

"Big Brother" brought a part of life

to Michael that he never would've had before.

I always did wonder, you know, who was my real father,

even when I was younger.

Was your dad in the service or anything?

Yeah.

He was in the army.

Served in Vietnam.

Lost half of his foot and got medical discharge.

Look at his face.

Wow.

GUY: It's sinking in.

I just hope it doesn't hurt him.

What's your dad's name?

Guy.

Doug?

Guy.

When Guy and I was dating, we--

we talked about children.

He didn't want to bring a child into this world that would

have to go to w*r and fight.

And he always told me that he would

just die if he knew that one of his offsprings

had to go to w*r.

What would you rather have, another brother or--

Sister?

Yeah, sister.

I don't know.

It depends.

I'd probably want an older brother.

Why is that?

CHRISTINE LEE: I just thought it was

great the way Michael was questioning

Jennifer, bringing things up.

And it made me feel good that he doesn't want to shock her.

I'm hoping that she will appreciate

Michael like we all do.

What's your dad like?

Is he built?

I mean, how tall is he?

Bless his heart.

Realizing Jennifer was my half-sister, I started

looking at her face more.

There is some resemblance.

Yes, you look like her.

Similarities that I see between Michael and Jennifer--

they're both very energetic.

They're both positive people.

I feel like there's a certain amount of family resemblance

there.

Maybe the one, the relationship

hopefully out of this house with a new family.

[sighs]

Yeah, I feel the same way.

Got some letters.

I do not know where to begin.

I will simply say I did not know of your existence until--

--know of your existence until recently.

Life has a way of moving in the right direction.

[CRYING] You now have two sisters and three brothers.

But there is always room in our hearts for more.

I'm really excited for Michael.

I'm so proud that Michael's got this chance

in life to know another family.

Michael, welcome to the family.

I only hope that you want to expand this relationship.

Michael and Jennifer are just getting to know each other.

But with Jennifer possibly facing eviction,

their time together might be cut short.

Here's what Karen, Adria, and Drew had to say as they

were about to cast their votes.

I think that Nik's uniqueness could be a strike against her.

She's got tattoos all over her.

She's got nipple piercings.

She's very, very different.

I see the positives more than I do the negatives in people.

And I just can't knock somebody down

because they look different, act different, smell different.

Mike, to me, has just been the father figure of the house.

He's challenged me in a way, as a person, to challenge myself.

Mike can be very belligerent and very opinionated.

Jennifer, on the outside, has a different kind of, you know,

different look.

She's the kind of human that the more you get to know her,

the cooler you find stuff out about the way she thinks.

Let's talk to Jase in his private bedroom

and find out what it was like to be the first head of household.

Jase, this is Julie.

- Oh, great. - How are you, Julie?

I'm great. Just a reminder.

Now, the other house guests cannot hear

anything that you're saying.

Well, first of all, being head of household,

you were able to use the spy screen in your bedroom

to snoop on your housemates.

And so far, you have only told the four horsemen.

Why haven't you told anyone else?

You know, actually, I've kind of maybe

regretted not telling everyone else.

But my plan is is that I'm just going to be like,

oh, it must be the second HOH that gets that option.

I showed the four horsemen 'cause

I wanted to be loyal to them, build

up trust in the beginning.

But yeah.

I don't know.

I'm gonna have to pull some stuff off next week

and act like I didn't know about it.

What do you like most about being head of household?

I like it all.

I could be head of household the whole time here.

JULIE: [laughs]

It's the perks.

But the thing I don't like about it

is maybe people weren't being as real just because of, you know,

the HOH status.

So, yeah, I'm looking forward to getting

in the trenches with everyone else next week for sure.

Do you think it was good to be the first HOH?

I do.

And I didn't.

Initially, I wanted to blow it.

I wanted to blow it for, like, the first six weeks.

But I was the first HOH.

And with that, I get to look everyone in the eye that's

out there at the table and say-- except for the people

that I put on the block-- and say, I like you.

I will not put you on the block.

And I think that builds trust.

Anything you do to build trust is huge.

So-- JULIE: Mm-hmm.

--this is it.

I'm gonna lay low for the next six weeks or so.

I think a few of us have seen that.

I think that Mike is a very shrewd player.

I think he would be someone you would

want to align yourself with because he

is such a strategical player.

Mike is a very, very great guy.

I would love to keep Mike into this game.

Because I know that he would stand by me.

Mike's someone who you would not want turning against you.

I think that he is what you would call

a silent but deadly player.

I think that he very much observes.

He's very good at kind of blending in to the periphery.

Jennifer, being my sister, would be a hard decision

to vote her out this week.

But I came into the "Big Brother" house

to play the game for my fiancee and our son.

I've known them a lot longer I have Jennifer.

If Jennifer should go, there's always time outside the "Big

Brother" house.

So I kind of, you know, missing my family and my job

and everything, it's like, I'm kind

of all right with going first.

They we're all just trying to protect their selves.

And that's all right.

JULIE: Are you surprised to be here?

Not at all.

Why not?

Because my heart wasn't in it after I found out

it was so hard to do.

I'm disappointed that I'm leaving with no money.

But you can't spend it from the psych ward.

So, you know, it's--

What was the best thing about being in the house?

Welcome back.

It's been over a week and already

there have been some incredible twists on "Big Brother ."

First, Michael and Jennifer discovered they

are half-brother and sister.

It's all part of Project Do Not Assume--

Project DNA.

And tonight, a second unbelievable twist.

One of our house guests has an identical twin

who has also been playing the "Big Brother" game.

Since "Big Brother" began, they have already

switched places three times.

And their fellow housemates have no idea.

Here's how it works.

Every few days, one twin enters the house

through the diary room and the other twin comes out.

Similar to life in the "Big Brother"

house, the twin on the outside lives in total seclusion.

There's no TV, no email, and if everyone is living on PB and J,

the twin outside the house lives on it, too.

Most importantly, this twin has no idea

what's going on inside the "Big Brother" house

until the switch is made.

If this pair makes it halfway through the summer

without being discovered by the other house guests,

both twins will have earned the right

to live in the house at the same time and play as individuals.

Ultimately, only one twin can win the money.

After discovering that Drew and Diane had an identical twin,

the house guests began to speculate about a twin twist.

But no one has figured it out.

[music playing]

So what do you think that the twist could be?

- How they're gonna outsmart us. - Yeah.

Maybe they'll tell me that Will's my brother.

Oh, I forgot to tell you, I am.

[inaudible]

All right.

So we got two sets of twins.

I have a twin sister, Lindsey.

- My brother's name is Ben. - [laughs]

And this is, like, the first time we've been

apart for more than, like-- - I know!

--four days.

It's so weird that he's a twin.

Can you imagine if I was a twin?

I might be. You don't know.

That'd be awesome.

There's gotta be something going on with that twin thing.

Me and my sister, we have been switching

in and out sporadically--

sometimes it's a day, sometimes three days, that type

of stuff-- and sharing different information.

Michael-- Cowboy-- knows the most about me.

We've talked about, you know, Christianity,

how I don't really drink-- - Mm-hmm.

- --but I will have some wine. - Mm-hmm.

That kind of stuff.

You know, we've gone through all that stuff.

Yeah. Oklahoma.

Yeah.

When we only have minutes to do the switch

and transfer information, pretty much

got to kind of narrow it down to what's your top five

situations, and then transfer that over briefly,

clearly, to the other person.

[music playing]

Well, the five points that you share with the person coming

back into the house have got to be

the five key things that would affect Adria in the house.

Michael and Nik found out that they are brother and sister.

[CRYING] After this surprise, I

hope you are excited, as Pat and I are,

to start a new life and a wonderful journey.

[crying]

I'm dying here, Michael.

I know.

They got the same dad.

You and Michael played hacky sack and you threw the ball

around in the yard with Jase-- - Michael--

Shut up. Don't get shocked.

[music playing]

We have to switch in and out of the house.

It's five weeks.

And if we do that successfully, then at that point,

her and I will be able to come into the house together.

And then we've both got a chance to go for the big win.

You look very different in your picture.

I photograph, like, so many different ways.

[laughs]

I have a scar right here by my nose.

And Adria does not.

She does have a-- a little bigger

mole right here than I do.

And that's two key pieces in the center of the face.

By the way, are you losing weight anywhere?

Nah. All right, you know?

No big deal. - I'm losing weight.

- You look fine. - Like, my butt's kind of--

my butt's losing weight.

The emotional side of it is hard for me.

You know, I want to wear my wedding ring

and not all the other stuff.

So it's tough.

It's tough to look at A's face on the wall,

when I keep trying to be her.

And people call me A all day.

So it is hard.

It's hard.

And I knew it would be.

I don't think anyone in this household

could imagine the demands that it puts on a person.

Right now, I'm not playing the game for me.

I'm playing it for her.

Because I don't want to let her down.

I want her to be in the house.

Natalie is currently in the backyard with her housemates.

So let's meet Adria, who is awaiting

her twin in the diary room.

Hi, Adria.

Now, if you guys make it to the halfway point

without being discovered, you will

both have earned the right to be in the house at the same time.

So what is your strategy for making it halfway?

To not get discovered, definitely.

I mean, that's been our biggest challenge right now.

And we have made several different switches.

And right now, the good news is is that no one's

focusing on us right now.

JULIE: Now, you and Natalie have switched

places three times already.

How is it that no one has caught on?

Well, we both are very much in tune with each other.

And it's the confidence level that we're

both trying to persuade-- you know, or show to the household

when we come in, and just leaving with little details

and leaving with tasks and that kind of thing,

and really just working different disguises, with hats

and glasses, and just being sure that we

know each other both well enough to not

think that we're ourselves.

[laughs]

[laughs] Have there been any close

calls with these switches?

Oh, absolutely.

I think both-- probably every time

we've been in and out of the house has been a close call.

Your stomach is in a big knot.

You got a lump in your throat.

And you're just like, OK, anywhere

but in front of somebody.

And I think one of the scares that I had personally was

Mike had actually asked me a question

and said-- he just threw a name out, goes, Kim Vickers,

or something like that.

I don't know.

And I was like, who?

And I thought maybe he had had that conversation prior to.

And I just played it off.

And that was really just kind of a no-call.

But it was a big scare.

JULIE: Real brief-- what's been the hardest

part about switching places?

To not be myself is the hardest part.

I think that when I go into the house,

I have to pretend in my act that I'm being Natalie.

And then vice versa, she is actually

trying to think about being me.

JULIE: Mm.

And so that's been the hardest.

JULIE: Earlier today, we gave Natalie

minutes to fill you in on what's

been going on inside the house.

When we call Natalie to the diary room,

you will just have a moment to switch

places and walk into the house.

So Adria, are you ready to make the switch?

I'm ready to go in.

I've got her back.

I support everything that she's been doing

for the past couple of days.

And I'm just-- I'm ready to get in there

and just pull another wool over their eyes

and just keep playing our game.
