I have to get that veto power, because that

means I could take myself out of the nomination block.

But it was Dana who won the coveted power.

And talk of a possible replacement nominee

threatened to splinter the original eight.

Scott has done everything to get on my very last nerve.

You piss me off, you got to go.

NARRATOR: But before Dana could wield

her power, Scott's attitude took a turn for the worst.

Scott, stop.

NARRATOR: Prompting a group meeting--

A lot of people feel very uncomfortable,

threatened possibly.

We do feel like, you know, this is definitely the worst

environment for you to be in.

NARRATOR: --and leading to his expulsion

from the Big Brother house.

Scott finally went into the diary room,

and we were told that he wasn't coming back.

NARRATOR: With Scott gone, the alliance of eight

is down to seven.

JULIE: Good evening, I'm Julie Chen.

Welcome to "Big Brother ".

It's been only a little more than a week,

and already there's been no shortage of drama.

After all, this is "Big Brother : The X Factor".

Tensions erupted just a few days ago,

resulting in Scott, the waiter from Chicago,

being expelled from the house.

And tonight, Amanda, Scott's ex-fiance,

faces possible eviction along with Jee,

the bookkeeper from New York.

And Nathan's reign as head of household

is about to come to an end.

Through it all, one hard truth hovers over everyone.

Before the next hour is over, one house guest

will become the first person to be

voted out of "Big Brother ".

But first, Scott's departure continues

to be felt in the house.

And Dana, the karate school manager from Queens,

finds herself with the chance to shake up everything

having won the power of veto.

What are you thinking about, Amanda?

Really nothing.

I'm just blank.

I'm just chilling, you know.

That's how I've been.

It's been a stressful week, so--

Yeah, especially what happened yesterday.

Yeah.

Yeah, I'm sad.

Not only because, you know, Scott was part of my lines,

obviously.

But because he is just a great--

he's just a great guy.

What do you want?

What do you mean what do I want?

Things have been awkward with Robert and I.

So when I saw him by himself, I thought

it would be the perfect opportunity to clear the air.

I don't know.

I'm trying to be the better person I guess.

No, you-- I mean, don't-- don't--

I mean, let's not [muted].

You don't want-- we're not friends.

We never were friends.

So what do you want to do, hang out now?

I just don't want it to be an uncomfortable situation.

I'm just doing what it would be on the outside.

We didn't talk on the outside.

We didn't get along.

It was never good.

Well, you know what, Robert?

You're obviously mad at me for some reason.

All I'm saying is that, um, I don't

want to pretend or anything.

So we're not going to fake it, like, be best friends,

because it's not really like that.

It never was like that.

I'll blame it all on me, but I'm saying, you know,

that's not real.

And I really-- I swear it deep in my heart,

I really don't hate you. I never have.

I can't.

Like, I really can't.

But I just know that because of what's happened in the past,

I understand if you don't like me as a person.

I understand that.

I don't know.

This whole experience has been really emotional for me.

Can you tell me why?

Why-- why has it been?

I-- I don't know.

Because, you know, it all started

with Scotty and the whole--

that whole thing really.

I don't know.

It really affected me.

I felt very sorry for him.

I just, you know, maybe I'm compassionate.

I'm more compassionate than a lot of these people

who just don't care.

It's going to hurt us with him gone.

In more ways than one.

Our winner is our lovely Dana.

The thought of having this power, I'm psyched.

I love being in this position.

There's a perception in the alliance of eight

that Dana is playing both sides, that she's cozying

up to Justin and Robert.

I suggested that we test Dana's bona fides, or her commitment.

I guess we should talk to Nathan today really [inaudible].

If she wants to go the other road with Justin,

try and ride to the finish, she'll

have Jee, Robert, Justin, her.

I'm thinking she could pull Jun easily.

If we have a bad day and Justin gets head of household,

it's going to put you and David up.

- Where's Nate? - He go back to sleep?

I don't know.

Where is Nate?

David suggested Dana exercise the power of veto, put

Justin on the block right now.

Right now.

We vote him off, he's gone.

It gets rid our problem.

Right.

And we also expose Dana's loyalty.

I was walking around the house,

and I was looking for Nathan.

And I busted open a door, and there they were.

The three of them sitting there whispering.

Who do you think should go up?

Obviously it's got to be Justin.

Would you put Robert up?

If that's what we decided, yeah.

The fact that she said she would use the power of veto

helped her pass the test.

Still, I'm suspicious though.

She talked to me about it.

And I was like, Dana, you know, do not use this.

This is the veto meeting.

There's a lot of power with the head of household.

And I think Nathan had a really hard decision to make.

I'm going to try to set the precedent

and respect the head of household,

so I'm not going to use the power of veto.

I am playing, you know, two sides of the house.

But Justin wins HoH, and he has any doubts about Nathan,

he'll put his a*s up.

Especially if I'm in his ear telling him to do it.

And you know you're safe.

You and Robert are safe, so--

No, I know what you're saying.

I am up for eviction, so I'm not feeling very comfortable.

What can I do?

I just got to make the best out of it and try to, you know,

stay alive and stay in the game.

I absolutely want to stay.

Like, I-- you know, I do not want to leave.

I think-- I think you'd be the coolest

chick to date the house.

Bar none.

Since I saw Amanda in here, I was--

I was attracted to her.

But, you know, because there is such tension between her

and Scott, I was, um--

I was very standoffish.

And with Scott being gone, it was like, you know, hey,

she's up for grabs.

And-- and we got really good chemistry.

Dave's, I think--

I mean, Dave's one of-- definitely my favorite person

in the house.

You guys have been rewarded head of household

for one night.

So I'm going to put it on your neck.

How have things changed for you since Scott's departure?

Um, I think, for me it was a little more comfortable.

Just because Scott and I were kind of on,

you know, not very good terms at times.

So for me, it was just more comfortable being with people

that I wasn't worried about necessarily fighting with.

So-- I got to get to know people a little better.

JULIE: OK.

The guys already have an advantage over us.

They started out with seven, and we started out with six girls.

So if Jee left, it would be even.

As a player in this game, I really kind of don't know

what's going on in Jee's head.

He could just be playing, you know, I'm just

here to have fun kind of thing.

That could be his strategy.

I would like to keep Jee in the house,

because even though he's an ex, he

could perform as a double agent and would be valuable to us.

Amanda could be much more manipulative than Jee.

I really like Amanda.

Unfortunately, this is not the time to meet a new best friend.

JULIE: Welcome back to "Big Brother ".

The X Factor continues to force all of the players

to rethink their strategies as they deal with ex-boyfriends

and ex-girlfriends they thought they'd never see again,

much less share a house with.

But the shock waves from The X Factor

were felt far beyond the Big Brother house.

In fact, when the exes walked through the front door,

their significant others watching at home

realized that "Big Brother " was

going to affect them more than they ever could have imagined.

When I came into the house and saw it Jun,

there was no attraction whatsoever.

How you been?

You been all right?

Her being here made me feel so uncomfortable,

I was actually trembling a little bit.

I'm not looking at him as a man.

I'm looking at him as Jee, just kind of this inanimate

object with a pulse.

[heartbeats]

Jee and I have been together for three years,

and we live together.

She looks nasty.

I'm prettier than her.

Yes, you are.

At first, when I heard about The X Factor,

I was a little upset about it.

And I was like, no, this cannot be true.

I have to go throw up or something.

He just kept his composure.

And he was like, you know, how you doing?

He said hello to her.

And she would just like, oh, I'm going to be sick.

She just made me sick.

Jun doesn't want to even talk to him,

which is very, um, immature.

And if she would be smart, she would try

to get onto Jee's good side.

I don't trust her all the way.

You know, like, she's a changed person.

Her whole, like, flirtatious, you

know, like, kind of hoe-ness.

You know, it's kind of annoying.

I'm very secure of our relationship.

I'm very secure of myself.

And I have no fear that something would, you know,

come about.

I hope my girlfriend realizes that I truly, truly love her.

And that there was no other woman out there,

you know, right now for me.

Not that I really care.

I just hope that, you know, whatever she sees with me maybe

her reaction was surprise.

I'm sure she was pretty blown away just as much as I was.

He told me, I quote, if I see anything that I don't like,

I met Alison in August of .

I was playing football for the University of Pittsburgh.

She was on the dance team.

Having Justin here is definitely

the worst thing that could ever happened to Donny and I.

My personal feelings for Justin--

I'd like to shove his little guy in a peanut

jar for a little while.

Donny has always, always, always

been so insecure about Justin.

Alison by nature, she's a very flirtatious girl.

I think she knows how far to go and how far not to go.

Just got to make sure to stay away from the little smurf

so he doesn't get in our way.

If Donny can't take it, then "Big Brother"

did me a favor by getting me out of a relationship

that was never meant to be in the first place.

So what are you going to do about your boyfriend?

Like, if we can make it past these three months, like,

I honestly think I'd marry him.

If my boyfriend is still there for me at the end,

we are going to be together 'till we die.

Nathan has the same body type as my boyfriend Donny.

The whole cuddling thing with Nathan

is pure strategy that will not go any further than cuddling.

Well, definitely The X Factor is

definitely a advantage for me.

I think if my ex came into the house,

it would definitely be a drama, because we

kind of left on bad terms.

So I definitely think it benefits me.

JULIE: So you are liking the position you're in.

I'm liking it a lot.

Now, obviously, you cannot compete for the next

head of household title.

Keeping this in mind, who do you hope gets it this week?

Well, honestly, I'm hoping that one of our original

eight will get it.

I'm hoping Jack, Erika, or David.

That's definitely the three people I want to get it.

JULIE: In the final seconds, is the plan

still to get rid of the exes?

That is still the plan.

JULIE: As of now.

Jee being likable will pose a threat to everybody.

there was an agreement made between Justin,

and Robert, and Nate.

So I knew they weren't going to be put up.

So it was between me, Jee, and Michelle.

And I knew Michelle wasn't going up.

So I kind of knew.

JULIE: You mentioned that some of the house guests

were not that comfortable with you and Scott fighting.

Did Scott's presence at the house, being your ex-fiance,

inhibit your behavior when it came to flirting with the guys?

Um, a little bit, yeah, because I

didn't want to hurt him.

And just us going back and forth, it was kind of

better to keep him, you know, happy

as opposed to making him mad.

So I was a little more cautious of that for sure.

JULIE: And you seemed to become more comfortable when he left.

Um, something, you know, evolved with David.

When he is out of the house, where do you think

you want to see this going?

Uh, you know, I would love to see David again.

I think he's an amazing guy.

And, you know, we'll see.

We'll see when we get out.
