Marcellas had the Golden Veto.

He had three options.

He could have saved himself.

He could've saved Amy, or just leave it as is.

I'm not gonna use it.

A moment of sadness came upon me because I

knew how it was gonna play out.

And I was thinking, why, Marcellas?

Why didn't you save yourself?

I did expect him to veto himself.

It was a very big decision, a very brave decision.

Unbelievable.

I really am shocked that Marcellas didn't use the veto.

The fact that Marcellas left everything as

is, the only two people who were able to vote

was Lisa and myself.

The fact that it was live made it very stressful.

JULIE: We have a tie.

As Head of Household, you will now cast the deciding vote.

As harsh and as terrible as it is,

you should've used the veto.

I'm sorry, but I vote to evict you, Marcellas.

The look on Marcellas' face, the look of shock.

It's ugly, but you have to do it.

I'm sorry.

It's a horrible way to go, not even remotely

thinking that there's that chance that you

might walk out the door.

And Marcellas really didn't think that he would.

He didn't even have all of his stuff packed.

It was horrible.

We walked Marcellas to the door,

and I know that must have been really,

really hard for Marcellas.

I still love you.

I'm sorry.

It hurt me that I stayed and that he went.

And I know that he went through the same thing

when I left before.

So it's a very, very emotional thing.

When it comes down to it, it's Danielle

that I'm looking out for.

Marcellas is my friend.

But he also was my competitor.

It's OK, girl.

When you get this far in this game,

you're gonna have to stab friends in the back.

You got to lie to them.

A lot of people played this game with honesty,

and a lot of people left because of that.

I was fairly confident that we were gonna vote to evict Amy.

Lisa and I never had a conversation about our strategy

because I never thought that Marcellas was not

going to use the Golden Veto.

The fact that Danielle voted differently than I did,

it leaves me very suspicious.

And I have a very bad taste in my mouth.

Eight down, two more to go.

JULIE: We have a new Head of Household.

Danielle, congratulations.

I don't feel that safe at all.

And I really can't put my finger on why.

This is my first HoH, so I am so happy.

And then there was a drawing.

And I always said, all I want is a house with a wraparound porch

and a place to call home.

It's a dream.

To have that drawing from home was just like,

they know my dreams, and they know

that they're part of my dreams.

When Marcellas left, Amy was not only shocked but visibly upset.

I sat her down to let her know that I voted

to evict Marcellas.

I just don't--

Look.

I mean, I'm lost.

Listen to me.

And I had to explain to Amy, when you don't trust someone,

they got to go.

And Marcellas gave speeches about trust.

And you have to decide who you really trust.

And I explained to her.

I said, Roddy knew too much information.

Chiara knew too much information.

I do believe Marcellas told them.

I understand.

I also believe that Amy told him some things, too.

And so that, I kind of feel, she did kind of behind my back.

I feel really bad that I had to put Jason in that situation,

but I feel like somehow it was a setup through Danielle.

What left a bad taste in my mouth

is when we were getting ready for the Head of Household

competition outside and Jason turned around and asked me

how I voted or who I voted for.

The fact that he asked me that and the way

that Jason asked me that question

didn't sit right with me.

And I instantly had the feeling that I was set up by something

or that something was going on with Danielle or Jason.

And it just left me feeling really super uneasy.

And maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Then I brought Danielle into the bathroom when I was changing.

I asked her.

I was like, how come we voted differently?

How come we didn't solidify anything?

I really did.

What she said to me in response made sense.

She's like, I really didn't know that

he wasn't gonna save himself, or that he wasn't gonna--

I didn't know that he wasn't gonna use it

and this, this, this, this.

But just some--

I don't know.

There's just still a missing piece, a missing puzzle piece

and I don't know what it is.

I'm a little concerned with whatever

I feel Jason and Danielle have going

on that excludes me that could turn

around to bite me in the butt.

There are some conversations that typically I had

was so outrageously smart, but he was

so on everybody else's level.

I could find some other guy and hang out

and do something manly like lift weights

in the back yard or spit.

He was trying to show off and carry two big bottles of water

to the kitchen.

Don't carry both of those at once.

I mean, he kept dropping one.

I just couldn't grab it.

And I said, we don't care how much

you can lift as long as you can bring

us our snacks at midnight.

These three beautiful ladies that I

am sharing the "Big Brother" house with, I'm

the luckiest guy in America.

As I started to walk to my room, I looked down and I thought,

wow, the floor looks big.

And I looked over, and that's when I saw the table.

It's like, ah!

Oh my god.

The table that had once been huge

had gone into a table that barely seats four people.

Oh my gosh.

I was like, wow, the house has grown.

It's just eerie because it doesn't

seem like it was that long when we had our first dinner.

Lord, bless this bounty before us.

So many wonderful people have walked

out the door of this house.

[interposing voices]

Rub a dub, dub, thanks for the grub.

Yay, God!

All right.

After a certain amount of people left,

the table got smaller.

And we thought that the smaller table was tiny.

And there was four.

Well, I'd never expected the table to get smaller.

I mean, I didn't know it could get smaller.

It was just another sobering reminder that there are

only four people in this house.

What is this fish? Do you know?

I don't know.

A reminder that, quite possibly, that table's

going to get even smaller.

It's so creepy.

You guys, it's time for this week's food competition.

Can I have you in the living room?

Danielle gathered us in the living room.

You guys, you have three minutes to get

into your bathing suits--

We had three minutes to change into the dreaded bathing suits.

OK.

When we walked into the yard, we

saw two giant kiddie pools and then about seven

other, smaller kiddie pools.

Oh my goodness.

This week's food competition is called Squeeze Play.

In just a moment, we will all don

our very own sponge suit to play for a special week of food.

Mm.

The game begins in the center of the backyard,

where there are two start pools filled with water.

You must soak up as much water as possible from the start

pools and transfer it to the food pools in your sponge suit.

The seven food pools each represent a different type

of food and a different day.

In order to win the special food for the day,

the duck marker must rise above the red ring.

You will have minutes to fill the food pools.

Are we ready to compete in our new sponge suits, so chic?

- Yeah! - Yes, we are.

Yes.

Let's put the squeeze on each other

as we compete for special dinners all week.

Ladies and gentlemen, let's grab our sponge suits.

Those were the heaviest things you could ever imagine.

[whistle blowing]

When you soaked up that water and you stood up, you went--

Oh my--

You feel like or pounds on your back.

And I'm like, oh my god.

To have to stand in the pool and squeeze it out

and try not to let the sponge touch the water.

It was extremely challenging.

Don't let your sponge get back in your pool or else

it will soak up all of the water.

Yeah, I know.

I was all about the surf 'n' turf.

While I was laying on the ground,

I dreaded the thought of having to get

back up because I already realized

how heavy those things were.

We can do this.

When she got up, her sponge split.

The more I kept running back and forth,

the more my pants were gonna fall down.

She's trying to squeeze the sponge out, keep her pants on.

It was just this comedy of errors.

Everybody needs to help with surf 'n' turf.

I made it my duty to win the Southern barbecue.

I haven't had barbecue all summer.

I don't exactly know what Amy had going on.

It was this like feet technique.

She squeezed her little feet on the sponge.

God bless her, she was trying.

As we were more and more tired,

I was encouraging people, take more trips, get less water.

Slow and steady, guys.

I'm about to take my shorts off.

You almost got it.

Like one more squeeze.

The Italian's done, Dani.

Oh, it is?

I didn't know.

When we were halfway there, my arms

were so tired I couldn't squeeze the sponge anymore.

I couldn't lift my legs up over the pool.

I'm lost.

I'm tired.

This isn't funny anymore.

It felt like I was enclosed in the sponge, and I'm like, help!

Today, the mood of the house is a little

somber just knowing that only one

person will receive their key.

I'm amazed that I'm still here.

I'm amazed that I've made it this far.

I'm nervous.

When Marcellas left yesterday, my whole plan,

my whole strategy was ripped out of my hands,

and I really feel like I'm standing here in this house

naked.

You look at that wall--

it was like a family.

And something that you'll never be

able to replace in this house is the time in this house

with those people.

It does get personal.

When I think about who's a bigger threat,

I think that Amy, in her own right, is a big threat,
