Lisa, Eric, obviously, I nominated you guys.

NARRATOR: Each of them hoped to be saved by the Power of Veto.

If the Power of Veto is used, Gerry

will hopefully put Josh up and possibly save myself and Eric.

NARRATOR: Chiara won the power.

It's a really scary position to be in,

because, obviously, I have two people

that I'm close to in the house.

And I have the opportunity to save one of them.

NARRATOR: But her bedmate Roddy urged her not to use it.

I'm scared if you zap one of them, no matter what he says,

your old pal Rod goes in.

NARRATOR: As the nominated lovebirds grew closer--

I know.

I can't wait to be with you either.

Chiara's loyalty shifted away from Lisa.

It's more of a personal thing.

NARRATOR: And she made a difficult decision.

I'm not gonna use the Power of Veto.

NARRATOR: Eric and Lisa knew that their days in the house

as a couple were numbered.

I think for one of us to leave right now isn't fair.

And I just don't want it to happen.

And welcome to "Big Brother ."

It is day inside the Big Brother house behind me.

Of the original houseguests, only nine remain.

Last Thursday, Gerry the California schoolteacher,

won Head of Household.

This made the couple's alliance feel especially vulnerable,

after having ostracized Gerry for using the Power of Veto

in the first week.

The very next day, their fears were realized, when Gerry

followed through with his master plan

to split up the powerful group.

Gerry nominated Eric and his girlfriend Lisa.

Lisa's ally Chiara later won the Power of Veto,

but chose not to use it, afraid a move to save Lisa

might just jeopardize Roddy.

So tonight, Eric and Lisa face an inevitable break up.

In the next hour, one of them will be evicted

and a new Head of Household will be crowned.

Then, a major twist in the game will be revealed that is

certain to shake up the house.

With their courtship in the house about to end,

Eric and Lisa have decided not to campaign

for votes against each other.

But as they savor their last remaining moments together,

around them promises are being made

and broken at a rapid pace.

It's been a desperate week of paybacks, favors,

and surprising new strategies.

I love you both so much.

And unfortunately, I'm not gonna use the Power of Veto.

I'm not campaigning in any way to stay.

I believe that there is work being done to get me to stay.

And I don't want anything to do with it.

Can you buy a hammock for your apartment?

I don't really have any room in mine.

I don't want to send Lisa home by any means.

But if someone were to say, all right, Eric,

we're gonna let you make the choice,

either you go home or Lisa goes home,

well, I'm gonna send Lisa home.

And I don't mean that because I don't like Lisa.

I mean that because I want to stay in the game.

I feel as though even though Chiara didn't use

the Power of Veto, I know that we'll

be friends outside of here.

I just think you should move to New York.

[laughs] You'd have girlfriends.

Lisa is not like my friends at home.

Maybe a boyfriend too.

And you'd have a boyfriend too.

I mean, a lot of my friends are very unique individuals.

And a lot of them are not like Lisa.

We pretend like we're sisters and like do things.

Lisa has a way of speaking.

It reminds me of every girl I've ever hated growing up

who was always like [whines].

It just sounds so weird.

Like, I have so many girlfriends,

but they're not like her.

They're awesome.

And the people are real in New York.

I know.

I still feel as though Chiara and Danielle have my back.

So you're not in a-- in a position

of feeling weird that there are no girls in the house.

I trust you more than I trust, you know, those girls.

Voting for me to stay in the house,

I think, would consist of Chiara, Danielle,

and, rumor has it, Marcellas--

Eric must go.

Leaving the tie breaking decision to wonderful Gerry.

My goal is this, to simply get Eric out the house.

If Eric left the house, then that

weakens Roddy's stronghold.

From a closeness standpoint, oddly enough,

I'm closer to Eric.

I've seen Josh talking to Chiara a lot today.

And I can't help but to wonder if he's trying to convince

her to vote against me.

Mhm.

Well, I overheard some conversation

between Lisa and Eric that I think had to do with Chiara.

Really?

Really.

I'm not saying it wasn't true.

If you're lying to me, I'll sock you.

Good thing I didn't give my [muted] word.

You know, friendship-wise and stuff like that,

I'm probably making the wrong decision,

because I'm probably losing a friend out of this.

I don't know.

That's what Jason just told me.

I found out from a very, very, very reliable source--

I just want to say to everyone that I

had a great time getting to know each and every one of you.

hit kind of a gray spot.

has been the brightest, most beautiful chapter of my life.

because I wasn't expecting you.

Eric clearly sold me out to try to keep Lisa in this house.

He tried to degrade our loyalty to each other.

It was a telling moment in my relationship with Eric.

If Lisa stays in the house, it's good for me,

because I believe Lisa has a value system

that is much more like mine.

If Eric stayed in the house, the only good reason

is that the fact that Eric will go after Josh or Gerry.

And that gives me time.

I can't stand the fact that one of my friends is leaving.

I mean, I really love.

Lisa she's a magnificent person.

I've really grown to admire her.

She's smart.

She's funny.

She knows how to really turn a frown upside down.

I think she's a really special person.

I really have gotten very close to Eric.

And for me to keep Eric in the house,

probably above anybody at this point is-- is beneficial to me.

Welcome back to "Big Brother ."

She is a Los Angeles bartender.

He's a Connecticut firefighter.

Eric and Lisa came from opposite ends of the country,

with one goal in mind, to win a half million dollars.

Over the past few weeks, they've developed

a special bond, never realizing that it would

ultimately work against them.

And tonight, the couple find themselves

facing eviction together.

While Eric's colleagues in the firehouse

are not surprised they're good looking buddy found romance

so quickly, Lisa's friends are shocked that she's

fallen so fast for Eric.

I met Lisa here at here at Knitting Factory

Lisa is this breath of fresh air.

She's just very, like, vibrant.

The first time I met her, she had a huge smile on her face.

She's just always happy.

The best thing about her, she's beautiful on the inside.

She is a package, man.

She's a spaz.

She is silly.

And she can be tough.

You know, a lot of people look and they're like

and they think that that's it, that, You know,

She's some dumb beautiful woman.

And she's far from that.

She's very intelligent.

I noticed in the very beginning

that Lisa was very nervous, because she kept running

her fingers through her hair.

seconds would go by and she's do it again.

She'd do it again.

She was sleeping with Eric, so--

I don't know.

Isn't that what it is?

That's what it looked liked to me.

When Lisa hooked up with Eric, it was a jaw dropping for me.

I just expected Lisa to wait to allow anything to blossom.

Eric is Lisa's type.

He, I'm sure, listens to her.

You have to make her laugh.

He's a fireman and that is an honorable job.

When Eric joined the shift, he brought in a new attitude.

A lot of energy.

A lot of energy.

Eric is-- he's a great guy to work with at the firehouse.

He's young.

He's energetic.

And he wants to learn the job, which is a plus for all of us.

This is Eric's tower ladder.

And he'll be assigned back to that once he

gets back from "Big Brother."

And what Eric's job to do is drive it to the scene.

When he gets to the scene, he gets out.

He puts the ladder up and does any

of the aerial lift operations.

I think Eric would have to--

to love the job in order to do the job in today's society.

I could control it like this, but all the weight's right

here, because if I let that thing

go to, it'll [muted] k*ll you.

Just as you have your "Big Brother"

family out in LA right now, out here, this is his family.

It's a brotherhood.

Did we mention Eric's buying lunch and dinner for a month

when he gets back?

Yeah.

We watch the show all the time with our big brother

Eric on it.

I think he's in real trouble.

- Who? - Eric.

Nah.

Mhm.

Eric has a very lively personality,

particularly at night, it makes for

some interesting conversations.

If he had any weaknesses, it would've been women.

Nothing against Lisa or anybody else.

But it might be his downfall.

What's going on in there?

I think Lisa will be better if Eric is voted out of the house.

She would step up and she would have

a chance to stay in the house.

Watch out for Eric.

He's got a few other cards up his sleeve.

Don't hurt her, Eric, because I'll come get you.

Gerry is sitting in his private room on his last night

as Head of Household.

I'm good.

Now, just a reminder the other houseguests

cannot hear our conversation.

So you can speak candidly.

You were virtually ignored since the first week,

when you went against the group and used the Power of Veto.

So how did it feel to win Head of Household last Thursday?

Well, winning Head of Household was a bit of a--

a retribution.

It seems interesting to me that I've

been placed in a position in the game

to make a major impact on the way things were going.

I mean, I think I got it at a fairly

crucial time in the game, where I could

play something strategically.

Whether it plays to my advantage, I don't know yet.

But we'll see-- we'll see how it pans out.

Well, since nominating Eric and Lisa,

you've had private conversations with each of them.

Have those conversations made you reevaluate your decision?

It only made me reevaluate it in who

I would personally vote for if it comes down to a tie tonight.

And I don't--

I do regret it only--

I do regret putting them up for nomination,

only in the sense that I'm very, very fond of them.

But this game requires you to make

decisions that are strategic, not based on-- on feelings.

JULIE: OK.

Eric is aesthetically pleasing.

He's very live and let live, which I admire a lot.

Lisa could probably be one of my friends outside of the house.

But I can never forget.

Just watching Eric this week try and turn the table and--

gave me a little insight that Eric

might do something desperate.

And that's something that's a little

scary to have in the house.

With Eric and Lisa, it's like, I have Lisa as a girl

and I'm a girl.

She's my age.

And then, with Eric, it's that he's a guy and not a girl.

But we're both in the same state.

So we have that bond.

it just doesn't feel right.

I can't say that I'm happy to be the first man evicted.

Well, initially, I think when I was put up for eviction,

I think I was put up as a guarantee

to get Lisa out of the house so I couldn't save her.

And I got that much from Gerry and I got that much

from other people in the house.

And when the Veto wasn't used, again,

you know, so much had happened in the last week

that anything--

anything could've happened.

I said my piece.

And I'm sure I said some things that probably scared Gerry.

And I-- I can pretty much guarantee that's why that I'm

sitting here right now.

JULIE: Once again, it was the decoy.

Is that what you're saying?

You were the decoy to get Lisa and now you're out?

Yeah. Yeah.

I think I was at first.

JULIE: Do you think your relationship--

your romantic relationship with her hurt you in this game?

Well, of course, for strategical purposes

I would say that it didn't help me as much it should have.

But you know, again, as I've said before, it's

nothing that I would take back.

And you know, Lisa's still in the game--

JULIE: Well, then, would you have

done anything else differently?

You wouldn't've taken back the romantic relationship.

But anything else do you wish you had played out differently.

You know, I don't think so.

Not-- not when it came down to Lisa,

because I think that it worried people when they really had

nothing to be worried about.

And that's their own thing they have to deal with.

Did anyone in particular let you down

or disappoint you in the house?

Gerry, of all people.

I mean, for obvious reasons.

You know, I just don't think that he

was really being himself.

And I think he's really tried to identify

with so many different people that he's

really compromised his own personality,

just to be where he is.

Who are you rooting for, if anyone, at this point?

Oh, god.

Well, I'll tell you what, regardless of Roddy or Lisa,

either one of them, I'm sure I'm gonna get some of that fun

is she the one? - Yeah.

Now, we've added bumpers to make it trickier today.

Each houseguests will be given a ball to roll down the lane.

The goal is to try and get the ball as close as possible

to the gutter at the end of the lane,

without having it fall in.

The winner will be crowned this week's Head of Household.

Now, in the event of a tie, a tie

will be broken with an additional roll of the ball.

from the Big Brother house.

And as you know, traditionally, people who are evicted go home

and they are reunited with their friends and their family.

Well, that's not what happened to the first three evictees,

Lori, Tonya, and Amy.

And that is not what is about to happen to you.

What would you say if I told you you have another chance

And here's what's been happening.

The first three evictees have not seen the show

and have no idea what's been going on since they left.

Immediately after leaving the house,

Lori, Tonya, and Amy were each whisked away and flown to three

separate locations outside the country, where they've

been living it up ever since.

Lori, Tonya, Amy, you are evicted

from the Big Brother house.

I've been evicted.

Welcome to my banishment.

They flew me off to Cancun immediately,

where I've been resting and relaxing

for the last few weeks.

I feel like I've had the best of both worlds.

I don't know what could possibly be happening in the house.

Kind of reminds me of Josh.

Actually, he's cuter than Josh.

If I have a problem with someone--

Come on. Right now.

Who's the spokesperson?

Who started it?

You're likely to see me approach them face to face.

It has been absolutely wonderful.

Since I've left the house, I've been laying down on the beaches

and sailing.

Since I've been on this island, I have been totally secluded

from everybody.

I have no idea what's going on in the show.

If I get back into the house, definitely have

since I've been gone.

Just waiting for my chance to get back into the house.
