[music - theme, "big brother"]
NARRATOR: Previously on "Big Brother "--
strangers met for the first time
and agreed to be locked in this house.
There are no newspapers, no TV, no telephones, and no privacy.
Once a week, they must vote to evict one of their own.
In the end, one HouseGuest will take home
a half million dollar prize.
As the first head of household, Lisa
moved into her private room.
And HouseGuests Eric and Josh tried to get on her good side.
Hey, Lisa can I-- can I rub your feet?
NARRATOR: Chiara discovered Jason's secret.
Are you a virgin?
I am.
You are?
I got it out of him.
NARRATOR: And Tanya and Danielle wondered
if Marcellas had a secret, too.
He's g*y, right?
I would think.
Yeah.
NARRATOR: Meanwhile, other HouseGuests
strengthened alliances.
Before you is the "Big Brother" nomination box.
NARRATOR: Worried about the upcoming
nominations for eviction, Josh tried to call the shots.
In my personal opinion, this is Lory.
Like before.
Don't tell me how to play the game.
I know how to play the game.
NARRATOR: As head of household, Lisa had
to name the first two nominees.
Marcellas, I have chosen you.
Lori, I have nominated you.
It's an emotional thing.
It just might k*ll you.
NARRATOR: Nominees Lori and Marcellas
are facing possible eviction.
But tonight, the HouseGuests will
learn of a new twist in the game that just might
turn this house upside down.
How will they react?
Find out tonight on "Big Brother ."
[music - theme, "big brother"]
Those are my names, and those are my decisions.
And with that, the meeting is over.
Fair enough.
So it be.
I think my answers to my nomination of Marcellas
and Lori couldn't have been any better.
And everything worked out great.
I'm very proud of myself.
Let's just ride it.
OK?
And see what happens.
Darn right.
It was stressful.
It made you feel sick to your stomach the whole time.
I didn't like Lori getting nominated because I love Lori.
Well, I mean, it really hit home.
I felt safe this week.
But you know, you weren't sure until you actually got the key.
Roddy, you are safe.
I haven't gotten to know these individuals well enough.
They haven't gotten to know me well enough.
I think the reason I'm finding it to be so difficult
is I'm not done here yet.
Don't be upset, honey.
I was sad for her because she was so sad.
The game is on.
[growling]
I'm so aware of it.
It's not about feeling good or bad, guys.
Do you know what I mean?
Let's-- yeah.
You're not doing it right.
I'm not doing it-- and that's part
of-- that's part of my thing.
Oh, my god!
I'm not doing the shake right!
[laughter]
Maybe if you learn the shake, you'll stay.
And I do consider it stabbing me in the back.
I do.
Because I was, like, nice to her before she
was head of household.
Yes.
Just want to--
and I say this with sincerity--
I noticed how you handled it.
And I'm glad.
It's a serious moment, but I'm glad you are very professional.
So I just wanted to give that to you.
- Thank you. - All right.
You're welcome, sweetie.
I was not expecting Danielle to come
into the head of household room to talk to me afterwards.
And I don't think when she came in my room
she was trying to give me a compliment.
And I don't think she was trying to make me feel better.
That was very ceremonial.
Oh, my gosh.
Wasn't it?
I was told that the reason I was nominated
was because they wanted to get rid of my opponent
for his bad attitude.
Throw that bad boy out.
And they figure that I'm the one who can stand the heat
and not hold a grudge for it.
Please come out and play with us.
Are you extending yourself to me?
That's the price you pay to play.
And that's where I'm sitting right now.
You are so all right.
You formed an alliance.
And you trust this alliance, and you carried it out.
Payback's gonna be pretty U-G-L-Y ugly.
So two of us will go the distance.
And each one of our odds just increased.
Like I said, I'm a huge voter.
I love to vote.
But this is one I don't want to vote on.
When you go in that room to vote who's first out,
vote your heart.
I feel horrible.
I don't want to vote against Marcellas, but I have to.
I don't want to vote period.
But I've got to.
But do what's best for you.
I'm, like, shaking. I mean--
Play the game smart.
After the nomination, well, I'd been talking to Josh
and just goofing around.
And he went around the corner, and said, come here.
Come here. Come here.
And just said, hey, let's work together as a team
for the next couple weeks.
I think we should, at least for the next few weeks,
look out.
All right.
But don't be talking to me like if you're
going to back stab me with it.
Because I'm-- you know?
Yeah, I hear you.
He's working something.
The guy is very sharp.
And I like him.
You know, I'm also really watching him as a major threat.
And so we'll just quickly on the down low.
And I'll say--
[inaudible] and we'll make it happen.
And I'm with you.
My thought process in aligning with Jason
is I definitely feel that he'd like to be like me.
And I really think that I can use that to my advantage.
I'm just going to trust him.
I'm going to take him at his word.
And if he doesn't live up to that,
then I'm going to have no problem doing
nasty, dirty things to get him out of here
as quick as possible.
- Hi. - Hi.
How you doing?
I'm good.
What's up?
I just wanted to know when does the cartel want to meet
again to plot its next move?
We got our target.
Who's going to take the Lori position next time?
My suggestion is the second seat is Jason,
you know, America's wonderboy?
Oh, god.
Think-- no, I'm being a real tight
a*s mercenary here on this.
Play this-- play this out. - No, you're right.
He would be-- he's right.
I mean, we're establishing--
He's golden boy.
He's golden boy.
I'll tell you right now-- if I get head of household,
I will do that. - Mhm.
He would be, like, I don't understand.
I thought you wanted to shag me. [laughter]
Oh, no, no. You know what?
You know what? - He knows--
I'm going to say one thing, and then
return to eunuch man, OK?
I have to say than an intelligent woman
is such a turn on.
I can't process intelligent.
[laughter]
Oh, no, are you kidding?
Damn straight.
Eric has a great body, obvious that he works out.
Working out is definitely a big part of being in the house.
We can also just do a standing bar curl.
I asked him if everybody in the fire house
works out like that.
He says, no, I don't know anybody
that works out as much as I do.
And we can superset that stuff with .
So I don't know if you've ever done before.
It is such a [inaudible].
I had my eye on Eric right from the start.
So I have the hose, and I can control it like this.
I admire what Eric does for a living.
I think everybody's become more aware of firefighters
and policeman, you know, ever since last year.
But all the weight's right here.
I think Eric has great morals.
I love the fact that he works for the fire department.
I definitely feel that I've been deemed the lizard king.
[rock music playing]
You're going to bat my lizard.
It's cool, buddy. It's OK.
Sh.
I'm trying to talk to him, And they said that this
is where they like to be.
They like to chill.
I have good news.
We have a food competition tomorrow.
Nice!
Oh, gosh!
So I'm going to ask each of you
to name five food items that you are really craving.
Scotch, gin, bourbon.
Gerry?
You are first.
Garlic.
Milk.
Tri tip roast.
Well, we need cream cheese.
Taco shells.
Did we get bananas?
I found the selection process like a tooth extraction
without anesthesia.
Do we have oil?
Sooner or later we're going to need oil.
Jack cheese.
Foods that you are craving, not necessity.
Pepper jack cheese.
I would like to relinquish one of my food items
and substitute it for graham crackers.
Yeah, instead of iceberg lettuce, can we do romaine?
One stupid idea comes out.
And everyone jumps on the bandwagon of retardation.
Grated mild cheddar.
And Colby cheese.
Do we need all this cheese?
Can we please be done already?
You got nine cheeses!
It was painful. - All right.
This is up. No mas.
- Thank you, "Big Brother." - Thank you!
We appreciate you. [applause]
Everyone cook everything in the house.
Like why should I keep you in over her?
The only reason that you should even consider voting me
out is because you think that, at the very end
when the two of us are sitting across from each other,
I can win.
You're going to get rid of the better players?
That would be brilliant.
I thought I was being eliminated.
I thought I was going to be. [loud chatter in background]
That's why I thought we would both get eliminated.
So when she threw Laurie in it, for the reasons that she said,
and I'm taking them as gospel.
Because--
They sounded pretty good.
They sounded [inaudible].
In the moment, with her emotion behind it,
it seemed real.
And plus, the nervous energy-- that's people.
Right.
But I don't--
I don't know what to do.
But now you have to think.
Now is your moment.
And I'm telling you something right now.
Watch your back.
Jason and I were playing cards.
And I'm, like, how's the diary room?
What's going on? He's, like, oh, da da da.
And we're talking to each other.
And then he said, I got approached.
I am very uneasy because no one has approached me.
And the fact that no one has--
that means I've got a target on my back.
So Jason's telling me--
he said, well, I was approached.
And I'm, like, oh?
Who approached you?
He's all, like, Josh.
[chatter in background]
[chatter in background]
Although Lisa is HoH, I feel Josh
has the same say in or say so in who is going to be nominated.
I think he's manipulating people.
Right now I know--
I mean, I just--
I know it-- that I've got Danielle's back,
and she's got my back.
That's-- that's a done deal.
OK.
Don't pee on my back, and tell me it's raining.
Josh, you ain't fooling nobody.
Danielle got you, and I'm ready to go.
[background chatter]
Guys.
I need everybody in the living room, please.
All right, guys.
This is the food game.
And we have three minutes to change into our bathing suits.
And when we are finished changing,
then we'll take us into the backyard
together, and explain this ultimate game of chicken.
I thought we were probably going to get pretty
messy with live chickens.
Ha!
I'm kind of pumped, because we knew,
the night before, all the things that we've
been kind of craving--
the ice cream and definitely the vanilla extract.
We're going to win some good food and have fun doing it.
Yee ha!
Of course, we see the hay in the barn and whatnot.
And everybody is, like, Amy, it's home.
This is adorable.
[inaudible].
I know.
I know.
OK, guys.
This week's food competition is called Eggs Over Easy.
The men will go to the far side of the wall, where they
will find baskets of raw eggs.
Each egg has a different food item written on it.
When the whistle blows, each of the men
will pick up eggs from the basket,
yell the name of the food items that's written on them,
and toss them over the wall to the women.
We have seconds to catch as many eggs as we can.
Then for the next seconds, the women will toss
and the men are going to catch.
Each egg that makes it into the collection basket
will earn that food item for the household for the entire week.
Now-- is everybody fried up for this?
[cheering]
[whistling]
Let's scramble into our positions.
And when the whistle blows, let's toss them over easy.
Wait, wait, wait--
strategy, guys.
Eggs are coming over.
Each one you catch and don't break is good for you.
What's your strategy?
Hm, maybe-- catch the eggs.
I suggest that every guy match up with their nest partner.
We just stuck with the teams we had in the nests.
I suggested it, because I thought we'd obviously
recognize the voices already.
I had the idea to have the men throw the non-essentials
to the women, because I imagined more would
get dropped on their side.
And for the important stuff, the eggs and the chicken,
and the eggs and potatoes, things
we really needed to be waited for the second round
for the women to throw over.
Instead of them saying, egg, egg, because there's
all kinds of eggs.
Have the girl call the guy's name.
Get ready!
[banjo music playing]
[yelling]
[screams]
[HOUSEGUESTS CALLING TO EACH OTHER]
Lori!
The first couple tosses over the wall I missed.
And I thought to myself, get it together!
It was fun.
So much fun.
We were a little disappointed about some of the eggs
that we broke.
Tomatoes!
Halibut!
Strawberry jam!
I was trying to catch more of the back ones.
I'm just-- I'm not a baseball star.
So I'm not a very good catcher.
[whistle blows]
[clapping]
Switch sides!
When I walked around to their side,
it was a huge omelet of smashed eggs on the ground.
I don't know how many got caught.
I think I only caught one egg the entire time.
We could've gotten a majority of that food,
and we only got a small percentage of it.
Come on!
Lori!
Go!
Kiki?
Go!
I was disappointed because I think I had a shot
at catching the beer one.
But Josh and I ended up competing for it and it burst.
[yelling]
Yeah, it cracked.
Got it!
Let's go!
Kiki, Kiki!
Eric did a great job at hoarding eggs.
I threw a couple in my pocket, trying to keep it going.
Kiki!
One more!
Oh, my good god.
- Kiki! - Go, Amy!
[inaudible].
Pizza!
More eggs!
Kiki, Kiki.
I think I did awesome.
I wasn't going back to the basket
till I had about eggs each.
[yelling]
Lisa!
At the end, I almost left my feet to dive.
I didn't think it was worth an injury for ground sage
for the week, which turned out to be the one I missed.
All right, guys.
Let's see what we have.
I have some sardines.
We've got butter.
Ham.
Flour tortillas.
Woo!
[applause]
All right.
[applause]
Flour tortillas and some flour.
Corn dogs!
Tartar sauce on top of that.
Yogurt.
We've got some Caesar dressing.
Scallops!
Whole chicken.
Steak sauce.
Amy, I have some Parmesan cheese.
Cheese is my favorite food.
I eat pounds of cheese a week.
I just love cheese.
Oh, here's one for Amy--
cheddar cheese!
Yay!
Oh, that's mine.
Amy, I got some Swiss cheese for you.
Yes!
We are so stocked on cheese!
I think everybody feels really good
that we know we have a very big variety of food for the week.
But the other thing that comes to mind
is this food can go at any time.
So we have to ration the food, because it's
all we have for the week.
You know, when there are eggs laying around,
and they're busted everywhere, you can't help but throw them.
Amy threw an egg at Josh, expecting
that he would not retaliate.
Dude, I wouldn't do that.
Ah!
[egg cracks]
Ah, ha ha ha ha!
[egg cracks]
It's just not Amy's style to you know,
be wearing egg yolk on her face.
That's good for my hair, though.
She's our Southern belle.
She was smiling about it.
She took it with grace.
The storage room is filled with our food.
Rob is here.
Food's ready!
Food's ready.
Yeah.
Woo!
I got a break now.
Soup's up.
Oh, my god.
Oh, my god!
I'm so excited that we have food.
Because we pigged out.
We went crazy, ate everything in the house.
Oh, my god.
Look at the meat.
Hold it!
Wow.
We were ecstatic when we opened the storage room.
What do you have, Amy?
Oh, the cheese? - Right.
We all had our favorite items.
Of course, everyone knows what mine was.
[inaudible].
Wow, they hooked us up.
They must have been impressed with our ability to throw eggs.
We decided that-- maybe play a little joke.
And as fast as she was moving the cheese in the kitchen,
I was swiping it and sticking it back in the storage room.
Everybody put all the cheese back.
Cheese?
I thought that we were kidding about winning the cheese.
Just put it all back in there.
Then they hid it from me, put it all back in the storage room.
That's empty.
Back in the fridge.
I know, but that's empty.
Why don't we keep anything in here?
Because we were just making fun.
Let's take some cheese and put it under your pillow
and hide it.
I bet I looked like someone, you know, had just, like,
shot my family or something.
What's the matter, girl?
There's no cheese.
That really made her upset.
Can I at least get one kind for the--
All right.
What kind do you want, missy?
It's empty!
It's empty in there!
We were, like--
You can have it. we're just picking with you.
God, I feel so bad.
We thought it would be funny, and you're crying.
I'm sorry.
I get upset, man.
Oh, I'm sorry.
You can have your cheese.
When it comes to the cheese in this house,
don't mess with Amy.
Because the cheese is very serious for her.
I like this shell.
Where's this from?
It's actually vintage.
It's a Camisa Cubana.
You're right.
I couldn't see why anyone would think you're g*y.
[laughter]
It's out.
The horse is out of the barn.
Yes, I'm black.
And yes, I'm h*m*.
And I think, well, I think everybody knew.
The rumors are true.
It's, like, he wears a bathrobe.
Hello!
He owns a bathrobe!
[laughter]
Like, everyone kind of knows, or everyone is kind of asking.
So you should be proud of who you are.
I won the bet.
Hey.
I'm going to sleep with you guys tonight.
How's that?
I wanted a change of scenery.
Because my particular room just doesn't have the darkness
that's available in the map room.
Where are you going to sleep?
Between you guys.
In between Lori and I?
- Yeah. - OK.
Is that cool?
Lori will be psyched.
I'm in.
A lot cosier, the beds are a lot cosier.
You have possibly the best orgy situation--
a black g*y man--
Exactly!
--and two single guys!
[laughter]
Not only do you need to dim the lights,
but you need to hit that [imitates soft jazz bass line]
puh doon, puh doon, baw dow.
Down, shake a down, down.
We could be be three.
[laughter]
We scored [inaudible].
Lisa and Eric slept in the high rent district.
We were playing a little bit of musical beds,
figuring out who was going to stay where.
We had six people in three beds.
This is what the house needs--
I have cold feet, I'm sorry-- spooning!
If I do get somebody to spoon with me, it'll be Gerry.
Not to say, like, I don't like Gerry, but I mean, come on.
It seems to be a thing that's catching on.
Everyone's making plans for tonight already.
You don't need two women to spoon with.
She really doesn't want her kids to see you.
I really don't.
Can our butts touch, at least?
Yeah.
Laurie has some children at home.
And she had some issues about what
would mommy look like sleeping in bed with two other people.
I got the perfect situation.
Yeah!
You take my bed.
You go here.
I go there.
Woo hoo!
A g*y man!
That's my milieu.
You lay where I was laying.
I'm not laying next to Eric, I'm sorry.
[laughter]
Why?
Roddy, what do you think of my bed?
- Oh. - It was fun.
We had a great time.
It's a very short walk to the bathroom.
That's pretty cool, too.
Oh, goodnight.
Goodnight, everybody.
Chess now has kind of become the popular game.
It's almost this incredible metaphor for what
is happening in this house.
There are little pawn pieces that
are having to be moved around.
There are more important pieces that you're
guarding and protecting, and there are
pieces that get sacrificed--
in order-- so that you keep other pieces
in play in the game.
I got the queen here that I--
I'm, like, ah, I want to do something with my queen.
Yeah, it is nice to do something with your queen.
We're making these strategies, and even thinking
ahead and trying to make some predictions
so that one more week--
our names are not in the head of household eviction nominations.
I just-- I don't know exactly where Eric and Roddy are.
I feel like there are strong bonds just because they're--
you know?
I don't know if it's a bad thing.
No, not at all. I think it's great.
It's just I want to be a part of it,
because I feel like they are very strong, you know?
I feel like they bring a lot to so many things.
And so I feel like they're going to be around for a while.
And I want to align with them.
Yeah, absolutely.
In the back of my mind, I'm still, like, can I trust Josh?
Is he going to stab me in the back?
And so I'm a little bit nervous about it.
I mean, in any game like that, there
are people that, fair or not fair,
are going to be eliminated as a part
of somebody else's strategy.
Every single one of us went in knowing that we were going
to have to eliminate pawns that we were going
to have to remove from the playing field
so that we could win the game.
I'm home.
[laughter]
So when are we going to smooch?
Probably not for a while.
How long you think?
Like, five weeks.
I mean, day five--
I feel like I don't even know you.
Week five, I'm probably going to want to have your children.
You have to get up.
ba*ls out, straight up.
All right, honey?
Mhm.
The one person that I am most attracted to
is Roddy, who I call Hottie.
Because he's the most like me.
Come on.
I'm going to turn on the light.
I want to come in the room!
You what?
Just had the least--
you what? - You what?
It was a highly unsuccessful hug.
I was trying to get you to roll.
[whimpering]
I flirted with Chiara a lot.
I mean, she's a great girl.
She's a lot of fun.
She's a good-looking girl.
OK, so what I'm saying is to not get in the shower.
I know-- I know that you're going to think about it.
I'm debating it.
OK, I understand.
As I'm washing my face, am I actually--
See.
Oh, yes!
Can't you do it in the shower?
No.
And I keep telling her I'm going to kiss her.
[shower running]
No, no, Chiara, you can't get in the shower with me here.
This is being recorded.
[laughter]
Are you sure I can't get in the shower?
No, you can't get in.
Are you sure?
[inaudible] locked for the shower.
Chiara's insistent.
I'm getting in when I'm there.
I have to tell you that the moment I got out of that nest,
I found out the game had begun.
I do give out a lot of advice.
I am first and foremost a teacher.
I like to use visualizations to figure out a plan.
So here you go.
You start with .
[cards flapping]
All right, remember head of household cannot
vote unless there's a tie.
OK.
Right now, all right, that's Lisa.
Gotta take myself and Lori out.
To stay alive--
and here's-- here's-- here's the b*tch--
you gotta find the five, and you got to work 'em.
All right.
Sleep well.
Today's been a very, very interesting day.
I got very Machiavellian in planning a strategy with me
to end up being the last one.
And sort of the order I would like to see people
go out that would be most beneficial to me.
I am working all sorts of different relationships,
different points of contact, and bonds with different people.
Make your case.
Here's my thing.
Make your case.
I think there's one person in the house who is
working people, and it is Lori.
Yeah.
I think she's a sweetheart, personally.
I think she is.
I talked to her a bunch of times.
- Oh, I think she is, too. - Put it this way.
Put it this way.
I trust her more than, say, I trust Danielle.
I will tell you this much.
Some people feel threatened by you.
Why?
I don't know.
I don't know.
But no one's come to me and said anything.
I'll tell you.
There's somebody you've got to work on charm with.
You gotta work on charming Eric.
On Eric?
Why?
He's the one who feels threatened.
By me?
Mhm.
That's because he's all I'm that guy,
and I don't give him any time of day.
I think so.
Let me tell you something.
I got your back.
You got-- you got one person who's got your back.
You go to bat for me, man, because--
I will.
As I told Danielle earlier today--
and I was being straight with her right then--
I will watch her back.
Because I like having her around.
You know, I form different relationships with everybody,
you know.
And I'll be honest, you know, I've
taken on this mentoring thing with Josh,
which is getting a little old.
And he's just aw.
And I think she is more useful as an ally than Josh
at this point.
The thing is--
I'm telling you that Lori is playing people.
I'm telling you.
I'm telling you.
I'm telling you.
Do you think we need to have--
we need to arrange a cartel meeting?
I like-- I like Lori.
But I will vote her out because the cartel only works
if we're all in agreement.
The more forceful Josh is, the more earnest he is,
the less I believe him.
If Josh isn't careful he's going to lose me.
Yeah, well.
I am a negotiator.
And a negotiator, you know, works as many angles
as they can.
What I personally have to be careful of,
so that I don't angle myself right out of here,
is to get involved, entangled in too many webs.
[background conversations]
Why do you want to stay?
Are you going to be happy?
That's the question.
[inaudible].
Everybody's getting on my nerves.
Yeah?
I just can't believe that that b*tch played me like that.
Because I thought I was playing her right.
Because she was one of the few people that I was, like,
stroking at first. - Really?
Yeah, you know what I mean.
It could be that maybe people are influenced by other people.
[shuffling cards]
You know?
I mean, too bad they don't give us immunity challenges.
That would make it even more interesting.
And had to figure out a way to open up and be
a little friendlier, and be--
give them something different.
Give them a reason not to get rid of me.
Man, there was a moment where I was almost in tears outside.
And I was, like, I can't be the black guy that cries.
[laughter]
[inaudible]
It just started flowing.
And it was, actually, probably the most
fun I've had in this house.
And you wonder why I've been, like, so standoffish.
I've got more baggage than anybody else.
[inaudible]
I've been bumping into walls!
[laughter]
He had us laughing so hard.
Thanks, Lisa, put me up against,
like, the divorced mother.
[laughter]
And she totally picked the right one-- not
like the one with the big t*ts.
Picked the nice one.
You know, the real mother, not the stripper
masquerading as a mother.
[laughter]
There was action in that bedroom last night.
And it brought us closer.
In light of everything that's going
on between Marcellus and I, I think we'll both remember that.
Hey, something's on the screen, you guys.
What's wrong?
Oh, my god.
It's one of those--
no-- what is the meaning of--
find out tonight.
Find out tonight.
We came out.
Somebody noticed the message that was left
for us on our little TV screen.
My first reaction was that we did something wrong.
I was like, yeah.
This is what it looks like on the screen.
I said what is the no symbol, just a symbol.
HouseGuests will find out this evening.
Oh, so what we can't do?
Maybe that's what it is?
Lisa gathered us around.
It was a pretty riveting moment.
Get it.
Do you see it?
Wow.
It's like "A Beautiful Mind," you know?
OK.
Guys, we were told to expect the unexpected.
Well, I hope everybody is ready.
Because the game as we assumed it is about to change.
This is the "Big Brother" veto.
This is the power to take a nominee
off of the chopping block, saving
them from possible eviction.
Each week, we will all compete for the privilege
to use this power of veto.
The holder of this silver medallion
can save one of the two HouseGuests,
thereby forcing the head of household
to nominate someone else in their place.
Don't worry.
The head of household cannot nominate the veto holder.
Everyone will compete in the power of veto.
If one of the nominees wins the veto,
they cannot save themselves.
But they can spare their fellow nominee.
If the head of household wins this power of veto,
they can leave the current nominations as they are
or change one of the nominees.
Each week, we will compete for this mighty medallion
and the opportunity to change someone's destiny.
Are you ready to win the power of veto?
No!
The first competition will be tomorrow.
The power to change those nominations is, I mean, at this
point-- incredibly huge.
I don't think it's really going to affect me.
I hope I'm not wrong.
I don't think I'm in any trouble.
Gerry could get screwed.
I was like, oh, this is good.
Whoever holds the veto--
it will definitely add a lot more power to that person.
Damn.
Let's have some fun.
That's scandalous.
Whoever wins the power of veto,
they have the power to take one of the nominees
out of the nomination block.
And then the current head of household
will pick a new nominee.
It has to be different from last year
like nobody's business.
I think the veto is brilliant.
I hope you get the veto, girl.
When the "Big Brother" veto was announced,
I was basically speechless.
Are you blown away?
It just doesn't get easier.
I'm not quite sure how this is going
to affect my position in the game as I sit here right now.
I think it's cool.
When I first found out about the power to veto today,
I was kind of upset in a scared kind of way.
Because it does add a new twist and makes things a lot
more interesting in a good way.
It all depends on who wins that thing.
- Yeah. - That's true.
You don't know what everyone's thinking.
I'm feeling really good about this.
Suppose Danielle wins it?
You know?
Danielle's going to put a whole different spin on it.
Yep.
A whole different spin.
I mean, the funny thing is suppose that Lori can win it.
And Lori can want to save--
yeah.
That new veto thing definitely-- it definitely did shock me.
All the work you've done all week to try to save your a*s,
and it could just be thrown out in a heartbeat.
It's keeping everyone on their toes and guessing.
You know what?
It's going to make it real interesting, too.
Because anyone can go out now almost at any time.
No matter how much you machinate,
no matter how much you work around, OK?
So you know, in terms of the strategy,
go back to what I said-- no permanent friends,
no permanent enemies.
You know?
He's jockeying for position eight weeks down the line.
Who?
Gerry.
Let me ask you this.
Why are we feeling allegiance to a guy that's going
back on the alliance already?
Because he's low.
Because now, the greatest thing that could ever happen
is to have the six of us and know that--
it's not even six.
That we've now brought it down to five.
I think this new veto thing could put Gerry in trouble
this week, and it could bail Marcellus out.
If it gets lifted off of me, and it
should get lifted off of me, she has to pick one of them.
Like, who else is she going to pick?
If I win the power to veto, what am I going to do with it?
I can't guarantee who they would be replaced with?
Like, Lori's got--
it has to either stay with me--
I know who I'd like her to pick.
The whole reason Marcellas and Lori are up for eviction
is antiquated.
We'll see.
Close the door, would you?
Yep.
Down.
Oh, my god.
[laughter]
- Oh. - Oh.
Yeah!
Oh, my god.
OK, everybody has to stand in front of their face.
Oh, wow.
[laughter]
[interposing voices]
They had to use that ugly a*s picture.
Charming.
Look how white my face looks.
Yours looks super white, too.
This Knock Down, Drag Out game will
test which of us is head and shoulders
above the competition.
Ha, ha.
We will play in the order determined
by the random drawing.
When it is your turn to take control of the ball launcher,
take aim, fire at the cut out of the HouseGuest
you would like to eliminate from winning veto privilege.
Before you fire each shot, you must name the fellow HouseGuest
you are aiming at.
The ball must land and stay in the plexi basket and two.
Each of you will get four ba*ls, four shots per round.
There will be as many rounds as it takes to determine a winner.
When your tube has three ba*ls in it,
you are out of contention for the veto privilege,
but you are not out of the game.
You will continue to sh**t in turn.
The game will continue until all but one of us is eliminated.
Are you guys ready to save face and decide who wins
this week's veto privilege?
[cheering]
[applause]
Arf!
Arf!
Gotta play.
Hey!
Danielle.
So many people were sh**ting ba*ls at me because I
kept saying I don't want it.
Myself, Eric.
[shot fired]
[thud]
I didn't want to win the power because I
wouldn't have used it anyways. [shot fired]
- There it is. - Ah!
Hey!
[applause]
[thud]
- OK! - Eric--
Eric's done. That's all.
--is done.
Man.
shots.
Yeah!
Whoa!
- No! - Your a*s is done.
[shot fired] [thud]
Yeah.
Aw.
[cheering]
I think that a lot of people took
themselves out because they don't have
the guts to make the decision.
[thud] - Yeah!
[applause]
Lisa is done.
Ah!
[shot fired]
Yes.
Yes!
Roddy.
[shot fired]
[thud] - Roddy!
[shot fired] [thud]
Oh!
Roddy is out.
And I didn't even sit here and practice.
[shot fired]
Ah.
Take me out, man.
Look.
[shot fired]
[thud] - Nice.
Nice. [shot fired]
[thud]
Nice.
[shot fired] [thud]
You got a very pronounced running.
Amy.
[shot fired]
I wanted Amy to win it.
And when people were, like, sh**ting at Amy's thing.
I was, like, please let her win this competition.
[thud] - Nice!
- Nice. - Got it.
Amy.
Cover up that idiot picture!
[applause]
[shot fired]
Nice.
[inaudible].
- White ribbons. - Lori.
[shot fired]
[thud]
Nice!
When I realized I was one of the final three people, I
think, left in the competition, I'd almost accepted the fact
that it probably would be me.
Gerry?
[shot fired]
[thud]
And when it came down towards the end of the game,
you know, I was a little nervous and really
tried to eliminate Gerry.
Joshie.
[shot fired]
[thud]
[shot fired]
[thud]
Damn!
Joshie. [shot fired]
[thud]
[cheering]
Yay!
[applause]
Two people left are Marcellas and Gerry.
I trust Gerry as far as I can throw him.
They are tied.
They both have two.
So the next ball in is out.
Marcellas.
I would rather have Gerry hold the power,
because Marcellas did not want to have to make this decision.
[shot fired]
[thud]
[shot fired]
[thud]
Round and round--
Aw!
[clapping] - Do this.
Marcellas is out.
Gerry?
You hold the power of veto.
I now crown you the first power of veto champion--
[cheering]
Oh!
"Big Brother!"
[applause]
GROUP [CHANTING]: Gerry, Gerry, Gerry!
Gerry and I could wreak havoc together
upon the power structure that has emerged in this house.
Gerry might just be controlling
enough to seize this power and throw everyone for a loop.
If Gerry decides to change my nominations by using his power
of veto, he's screwing himself.
I have a golden opportunity to throw this thing wide open.
NARRATOR: Will Gerry veto the nominations
of either Marcellas or Lori?
If he does, who will Lisa nominate in their place?
Find out Wednesday at nine, eight
Central on "Big Brother ."
