The final four have all been marked for banishment,

and one of them will be the last of the original

"Big Brother" house guests to leave with no prize money.

So let's check in with them.

Well, it's nice to see that you're all prepared

for tonight's live show--

[chuckling] --unlike last Saturday when

I caught most of you off-guard.

Remember that, Jamie?

I remember that, Julie. [laughter]

But you're all laughing about it now, which is good to see.

Is everyone packed and possibly ready to move out tonight?

Yes, we are.

JULIE: Well, all the votes are in.

They've been counted.

And we have a change of plans.

Tonight, for the first time, we have two banishments.

Wow.

JULIE: So we're going to handle the first one

a little differently.

We're going to start with a tribute, shall we say,

to the banished house guest.

So if you'll all please watch the monitor.

[applause]

Gentlemen, say hello to Chiquita.

OK, sit.

Ah.

[laughter]

[barking]

and a wonderful home for her.

So house guests, as always, you have two minutes

Before we find out who's in fourth place,

we have an update on the man who came in fifth.

"Big Brother's" chicken man, George, has spread his wings

and taken a bite out of the Big Apple.

We could use a hot dog, please.

Yes, sir.

Look!

Radio City Music Hall!

Here we are.

I was just a guy that did something wild and crazy

for three months, that he still don't even

know what he got himself into.

I might have been number six out,

but the chicken man don't care.

He's having the time of his life.

I love you so much.

Aw!

You are a sweetheart!

Who would have thought "People"

magazine would be interested in anybody like myself?

I was photographed by "People" magazine on light posts.

I had people coming up to me.

I had autographs.

I liked you hair.

I had it professionally done this time!

It's just so unusual for just an average person like myself,

and which is all I am, to be recognized.

My sister in New Hampshire is a really big fan,

so I just pop her on my cellphone

and handed the phone to George.

Once again, we appreciate that very much.

Why would anybody be interested in me?

New York City is great!

Chicken Man says, thumbs up to being out.

Come on!

Jump in!

[laughing] No sense in walking!

[laughing]

Joining us now is our health and relationships

specialist, Dr. Drew Pinsky.

Welcome, Dr. Drew. - Thank you, Julie.

JULIE: We thought it be interesting to look

at some clips that you think really

illustrate some of the key turning

points inside the house.

Yes, yes.

Two moments that really defined the character of the house.

You know, when people first arrived in the house,

the house guests got there.

And they began a great deal of focus and energy

on two of the house guests-- their feelings,

their behaviors.

And that really culminated in Jordan's departure.

Let's take a look at that.

JULIE: OK.

[laughing]

- Bye. - See you out there.

Yeah.

[laughing] - You take care of yourself.

- OK. - OK.

Be good.

She would stand by the cameras nude.

She gets naked and she lotions up, you know?

Are you kidding?

This is right in front of the camera?

Yeah.

And she puts on her dancing thong.

And she's, like, doing this thing.

Tell me that she does Playboy.

- She said she wouldn't. - You don't think so?

Because I'm like, you could go home and dance and get,

like, way tons of money because you're,

like, on the "Big Brother" show and dance, you know?

I just don't understand the logic.

She's not always consistent, Joshua.

That's awesome.

[laughing]

Now that pool-side conversation is just minutes

after she has been banished.

Moments after.

It's like the house heaved a collective sigh of relief.

And then from that moment on, they really

began focusing on their relationships,

building bonds with one another.

And really, that was the character

of the house for weeks to come.

They had difficulty at one point really distinguishing

between their own feelings and the feelings of the house

guests around them.

They got so, so tight and so bonded

that it's almost like they were under the spell of one another.

And then that culminated in what we like

to call George's rebellion.

JULIE: Let's look at that clip.

If we all walk out as one, we're all winners.

Do you know what you'd be saying in your life?

Do you know what a point we could make?

You don't know it, you guys, but we get

a chance to make history here.

Yeah, I'll walk with yous.

I'll walk with you on Wednesday.

If you guys want to walk, I'll walk with yous.

You know, this place here, I said a long time ago,

I'd rather walk before I change in me.

Well, I feel that if I stay here another two weeks,

I will have been changed.

And I don't go for that.

Eddie's great.

He'll walk with "youse guys."

So but even Eddie-- even Eddie was persuaded

by the power of the group.

Eddie, who was so clear on what he's doing there,

was persuaded for a while. JULIE: It was shocking.

It really was surprising, wasn't it?

However, though, they walked away from the table.

And you saw there were some cracks in that little coalition

there, wondering if it's the right thing to do or not.

But I really believe they would have been powerfully

under the influence of one another,

had it not been for the fact that Curtis

left and went to the Emmys.

He brought enough reality back into the house

so that people were then able to make more realistic judgments

about what they were hearing.

In fact, we start to see them later on really following up

on Curtis's coming back from the Emmys,

beginning to think more clearly about what

they're doing in the household.

And they finally realize, after all, this is just a game.

They can compete, and they can still be friends.

And they needn't sacrifice the integrity of their community.

And I just wanted to say, Julie, that this experience has really

been very powerful and fascinating for me

here at "Big Brother."

And I wanted to point out to people

that, in fact, we are all really "Big Brother," aren't we?

We're all the ones doing the watching here.

JULIE: That's right.

And we do that because we want to learn

something about ourselves.

We want to learn something about other people.

I think that's really what compels us to watch.

And these courageous people really

have taught us something.

They've taught us about the triumph of community,

a community that's stressed and even a community that's

built on individuals whose self-interest is

their primary goal.

We found that they didn't have to sacrifice-- at least they

taught us, they did not have to sacrifice

the integrity of the community on behalf of self-interest.

Also, left to their own device, each time

they had a choice between peace and conflict,

they chose peace, chose-- and given healthy choices,

they seem to choose healthy choices.

And I think--

They set a good example.

They set a nice example, I think,

in a time of so much negativity in the media and press.

We ought to be sort of inspired by what they've done for us.

And look at it as an example.

JULIE: Well, we're in the final week of our show.

Friday is the season finale.

And the tone online is really changing as we gear

up towards the end, isn't it? - It really is.

I spent a lot of time in the chat rooms

and the message boards this week,

and it has a very different feel.

It feels like it's the bottom of the ninth inning,

the bases are loaded, and people are rooting

for who they want to win.

And the online crowd-- these aren't just "Big Brother" fans.

They are die-hard fans.

They feel very adamantly about who should win and why.

So I imagine this week's AOL poll asked a question

that has to do with the finale.

We did.

We asked, who do you think has the best strategy to win?

% said Eddie.

And whether it's strategy or street smarts,

people think he has what it takes to go the distance.

And he's been the most vocal about actually,

perhaps, having a strategy.

He's the strategist.

% said Josh.

On the flip side, no one's really sure

if Josh has a strategy or if he's just going to lay low

and slide in under the wire.

That could be the strategy, right.

It could be, and it's working.

Curtis had % of the vote, and Jamie had %.

JULIE: Hm.

And I imagine the most recent message board-- messages

on the message board is also talking

about who they want to win. - Right.

Exactly.

They're along the same lines.

They read like campaign slogans.

And they're written directly to the house.

And the house guests I've spoken to really do

read the message boards.

Karen's told me that--

Brittany, George's family last week.

So, everyone out there, be nice.

Right. They're reading them.

[laughing] Right.

The first one says, "Eddie, we love you in Vermont."

Eddie's fans are-- - Vermont?

He's from New York.

Whole states are supporting Eddie.

Eddie fans are very passionate.

They don't just want Eddie to win.

They'd do anything to help him win.

JULIE: Wow.

That's impressive.

Yeah.

The next one says, "Curtis is the only guy I would want

my daughter to come home with."

He's considered husband material.

JULIE: Ah. Right.

I can't wait to tell him that. JULIE: Nice job waiting for him.

[laughing] - Yeah.

He's going to get such a kick out of that.

The next one says, "Jamie, show them

all you don't get to be Miss Washington USA

without knowing how to win."

And a lot of people think that that winning instinct

is what's carried her this far. JULIE: Sure.

Absolutely.

And the last one cracks me up, because there

are so many like this.

It says, "Josh, call me when you get out.

XXXOOO."

And if you lined up all the X's and O's for Josh online,

they'd go for miles.

JULIE: He's going to have a little--

a big black book.

Forget a little black book.

How do you feel right now?

It's been intense all day.

My heart's been in my throat.

My spirits are flying.

And you know, whether my name was announced or not,

I was just, uh--

some of those moments that, you know, it's irreplaceable, so.

Yeah.

JULIE: Now, we heard you say as you

were collecting your luggage, I kind of had a feeling.

I don't know what--

yeah, I can't explain it.

I just had this feeling in my stomach.

JULIE: When did that feeling creep up on you?

Yesterday.

And I haven't eaten since, but, you

know, what are you going to do? Um.

JULIE: Why?

What-- what made you think?

I don't know. I can't explain it.

It's just one of those things.

You know, a woman's intuition, you know.

Right.

So is it safe to say that you're not surprised to be

sitting with me here right now?

It's one of those things where there's, you know,

four people in the house.

We all got along.

And it's one of those feelings where it's-- it's good and bad.

You're like-- you don't want to go.

But at the same time, I'm so happy.

You know, Curtis, Josh, and Eddie all are very deserving.

So I'm excited for them.

JULIE: You really bonded with them.

We saw that. - Yeah.

Now, we've heard you say, and everyone in the house

say basically, that fourth place is the worst place.

- It sucks. - It sucks!

Exactly.

It's the worst place to be, because you're

so close and yet so far.

Right.

Did you try to prepare yourself at all for this spot

tonight?

Yeah, in all honesty, it's one of those

things where you made it-- you know,

you spent the entire time.

The only thing you miss out on, money.

But for me, in all honesty, I'm grateful to even make the show.

I can't even believe that that happened to begin with.

The other thing is, you know, I've always

believed in the saying, when God closes a door,

he opens a window.

And you know, I missed out on the final three, but you know,

who knows?

Maybe something will come my way now

that I'll be a-- [FRENCH ACCENT] poor actor in Hollywood.

[laughing] Who knows?

JULIE: You're doing that accent! - Oh.

Oh, yeah!

What's with the accent? How did it start?

It is so funny.

We had the Tour de France challenge where we were

riding the bike hours a day.

And "Big Brother" had--

one of our challenges was to speak in a French accent.

And none of us knew how, so this--

JULIE: Can I say something?

I never knew it was supposed to be French.

OK?

[laughter]

I don't think a lot of people knew

it was supposed to be French, so maybe

you guys should work on it.

Yeah, I think so.

Just a little bit.

But I have to tell you, in the days

you spent in the "Big Brother" house,

you really gave us viewers some great, memorable moments.

And we've put some of those together so you

could take a look at them.

Oh, OK.

Nice to meet you.

I don't want people to think I'm someone I'm not.

Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah.

I know exactly what you're saying.

Are you Miss Washington?

- Yeah. - You are?

I think you'd probably be the last person I'd vote out.

You'd always do all this stuff.

You always hug her-- never me, ever.

I was going to roll a dice, um, to pick numbers.

Oh, they wouldn't let me.

Do you know how bad this sucks?

It's like, OK, let me pick from my family or let me pick from--

and it's really like picking from your friends.

[laughing]

I believe that you'll meet that person

out there that will love you more than they love themselves.

But I don't think you need to be in a relationship.

You shouldn't have to be in one, you know, to feel happy.

Fight!

Stand around.

This was so fun, you guys.

This was so fun!

Oh, no.

Well, what did you think?

Wow.

Um, fun times, Julie.

JULIE: And that reflected it.

That house, I tell you, put you through every emotion

you can even imagine.

And you know, you're isolated from the outside world,

and all you have is reality.

And it's funny, because the of us

would have dreams at night and they would

consist of people in the house.

It was like-- it was really interesting.

So you kind of go through every emotion in there.

JULIE: Would you say that you were

more emotional in the house than you

would be in your normal life?

Being in that confined atmosphere?

I went through more emotions, more ups and downs.

- Really? - It was interesting.

Yeah. It was nice.

I felt like I bonded with everyone, you know,

in the beginning.

And so I felt like I was there with all of them

throughout, you know, all the emotions.

There were a lot of them.

There were a lot of ups and downs, so yeah.

Well, I have to congratulate you for being the woman to last

the longest in the house. - Oh, thanks.

Yeah.

That's, you know, something you

should be congratulated for.

How did you manage to do that?

Oh, it's so funny.

Toward the end, you know, the last couple weeks

it's been me and three guys.

And I don't know if you've noticed.

I now can throw a spiral football.

JULIE: No, I didn't notice.

Congratulations.

Last night we played produce baseball, where we took

all the food left in the house and we just hit it,

tried to hit it out of the park.

I got a couple out of the park.

JULIE: [laughing] Good for you. - Yeah.

So--

How big were the food items that you hit out?

We had egg plants.

We had lemons, onions.

And then we finally--

Eddie grabbed all the eggs from the chicken coop,

and we started doing those.

And the whole yard is a disaster.

You can't walk outside because it smells really bad out there.

[laughing]

So but it was fun.

JULIE: But how did you manage to, you know, stay in the house

longest being the last woman to make it?

Yeah.

So far?

You know, I don't know that.

You know, I've said this from the beginning.

I don't think that the public, you know,

votes on a gender line, you know.

Nor do I in the red room.

I think that's just the way the cards fell.

JULIE: Well, with the three guys left in the house--

Eddie, Curtis, and Josh-- it means

that once again a man is going to go on to win "Big Brother."

Yeah.

In Europe, it's always been a man who has won.

They win every time, yeah.

Why do you think that is?

You know-- you know, in the past,

I've read articles, actually prior to coming on the show,

that--

that suggested that, you know-- and you

do have to be really emotionally tough to make it through this.

It's tougher than--

I don't know how it looks.

But it's pretty tough.

And, um, you know, they say men are mostly stronger.

In this case, I don't think that--

I think it got down to five people.

I think Cassandra was very, very strong.

JULIE: Yeah, she was.

And I felt that I was as well.

So I think when it got down to the six of us,

it could have been any of us.

JULIE: All right.

Everyone is wondering.

You spent a lot of time of the house with three very

attractive single guys in, you know, your age group,

in their s.

Right.

JULIE: But why no sparks?

Why no romance, not even a hint of one?

Yeah.

Um, I'm very, very single at the moment, just so,

you know, everyone knows out there.

Um, anyways-- JULIE: And they know that.

Oh, do they? Good.

JULIE: They do.

I mean, the men out there-- believe me.

You have a lot of fans.

And the men in the house knew that.

But why no sparks in the house?

You know, I don't know.

I went in there, and I felt like, OK--

I mean, I was open to anything.

But I also felt like I didn't want that to get in the way

of my experience there.

And I felt like, you know, if I--

if there were potential with someone,

it wouldn't necessarily have to happen in the first three

months in the house.

But I think without that in the middle,

you get really close to people.

You know, like the conversation I had with Josh that night.

And we've had a couple of those.

Talking to Eddie, which you know, he's--

he is-- - Has a girlfriend.

Right.

And then Curtis and I--

I mean, we're super close.

And we'll probably be friends, you know, forever.

It just didn't happen, though.

I went in there, and I just wanted to enjoy

every single moment of it.

So that's what I did.

JULIE: How difficult was it with the cameras

constantly around you?

Oh, my gosh.

Were you always aware?

Um, no, no.

You forget about it.

And then every once in a while, you're like, oh my gosh,

I'm doing this on camera.

And you can't believe it.

Um, I don't know.

You know, I have yet to go to the bathroom

now in three months without someone watching.

So I don't know what it's going to be like.

JULIE: Well, the cameras there--

not necessarily are people watching, but they are there.

They are there. They are there.

Exactly.

Now, I have to ask you.

It seems-- it seemed like you were the house

guest who was most concerned about how

you were being portrayed on TV.

Take a look at this clip.

OK.

I was thinking about list night.

I'm like, great.

I'm in a freaking love bed.

You know men.

[inaudible]

Right.

[laughing]

I worry about it.

I do.

But you can't worry too much about how

you're being portrayed, because you

don't have any control over it.

If there's something that's completely

false that's flying in the air, I'm

not going to acknowledge it.

And I'll tell you why.

Because as soon as I do, it's just

going to become a storyline, and it's going to be out there.

I don't really want to talk--

I don't want to say anything more.

I mean, you know how I feel.

That's it. So--

Yeah, but I feel like because you don't want to make

it a storyline by having--

I remember this conversation.

Feel like you didn't explain everything.

Last time you came into--

I know, but I'll just--

I'd rather wait, to be honest with you, than talk about it.

You know last time you came in the room?

You remember that?

[inaudible] artificial.

It's not artificial.

That's how I feel.

And you can take it for what it is.

[whispering] I don't have my mike on.

[laughing]

[laughing] All right, Jamie.

Yeah?

What was it that you were so afraid of?

Um, just a couple of things.

I think that-- well, actually, prior to coming on the show,

I'd read a article that referred to the "Big Brother"

in the Netherlands.

And a reporter had spent the day with the people

in the editing room.

And it just talked about the different ways

that things were edited.

I'm like, OK.

So I thought about that.

I was conscious of that a little bit.

JULIE: But did the article say that it wasn't accurate

in that reporter's--

No, it didn't.

It kind of left that to your imagination.

OK.

And I wanted to be very careful.

I felt that, you know, in a position as Miss Washington,

I took on that job to try to be a role

model for women in my state.

And I thought, you know, a little bit about it on the show

and just kind of was a little concerned.

Cassandra and I would have a lot of talks about it.

And she was a person who would not even go near the love bed.

I thought, you know what-- it eventually

came down to there's nothing going on,

so, you know, it's no big deal.

But yeah, it did cross my mind.

And we would all-- the of us would talk about it a lot--

just, you know.

And the other thing was it would be funny

because we'd have a curfew.

They'd make us go to bed right at :.

Right.

But if there was a guy and girl,

that curfew would be a little lenient.

You know what I mean?

So we'd be like, ah, OK.

So yeah.

JULIE: Now, I want to ask you what Curtis

was asking you in the bathroom.

By not expressing yourself or responding to a banner that

is false, is that being artificial by not acknowledging

it and not even showing any emotion to,

you know, what kind of reaction it got from you?

Right.

In terms of the banners, you know,

it's an interesting thing.

When you are isolated from the world

and you're in this kind of container for three months,

you have no idea what's going on out there.

And what we experienced in the house for a little while

there were some very very negative banners for George.

And he was very upset about them.

And I thought long and hard about it.

You know, we have no idea what's going on,

so really all we can control is how we react to it.

And I felt strongly that, you know what, maybe the banners

are true, maybe they're not.

But I want to enjoy every single moment of it here.

And you know, if they're true, I guess

we'll find out when we get out.

But you know, there have been some that haven't, and I

know that for a fact.

So it's one of the things--

JULIE: For example?

Oh, well, um, last week--

was it last week?

Yeah, there were some ones about me, and I couldn't believe it.

Because it was funny.

We were in the red room, and on the live show

they'd asked me about Eddie.

And I was real honest and said, you know, he has a good heart.

Him and I haven't bonded the most of anyone,

but he has a very good heart.

And I'd be really excited if he won, you know,

be happy for him.

I think he's deserving.

And then the next, I think, couple days later,

nomination rounds came.

And there was a whole slew of banners

from, uh-- from one of Eddie's fan sites

that were making up things.

I'm like, oh, great. JULIE: About you?

Negative about you? - Right.

Right. They were saying-- yeah.

So it's one of those things where, in this house,

you don't know what's going on in the outside world.

And you just-- you know, it's one of those experiences

of a lifetime.

And one side of you is like, oh, that's so cool that there's

a fan that's, you know, strong enough to send those kind

of banners just to anybody.

But it sucks that they're not true.

JULIE: But in real life you would respond to something

like that and maybe go up to Eddie and say,

that's not true, da, da, da.

But you didn't do that in the house.

I mean, you're not even going to defend yourself?

Well, there's a fine balance in the house.

We made a decision, kind of all of us,

whether or not we were going to talk about nominations.

And, um--

JULIE: And you all did the other night.

Oh, that-- wasn't that funny? JULIE: You 'fessed up.

That was funny. - That was so funny.

But up until that point, we hadn't.

There was one that flew over telling Curtis, you know,

to vote me out from one of Eddie's things or whatever.

And it's kind of interesting.

I wanted to tell Curtis, hey, Curtis, I'm--

you know, I would nominate you.

But I didn't tell him.

Mhm.

You know, I let him decide for himself,

even though, you know, it was ironic that something like that

would fly.

It's just one of those things that you

have to suck it up and just keep faith until the end.

But, um, yeah, we did have one.

Wasn't that hilarious?

JULIE: That was so funny.

Everyone was very honest. - Yep.

JULIE: Everyone had a good laugh about it,

and everyone was being a good sport.

Right. Yes.

Now, as we always do, we give the banished house
