01x19 - Episode 19

Post by bunniefuu »

You guys are--

you've been very good to me, and everything else like that.

And I appreciate that very, very much,

because you have to consider me being

away from home is really tough.

And I just-- and I just thank you all very,

you know, very much for everything.

[theme music]

Trying to lay down in the love bed?

[chuckles] We're all leaping over to be by you, Eddie.

I'm a little mad at you.

Me?

Mhm.

Good.

If you were right here, I'd be hitting you.

Yeah, well, I'm not, [laughs] or you'd be hitting me.

Want to know why I'm mad at you?

Yeah, we can discuss it now, or we can discuss it later.

[chuckles] You don't care.

Yeah, I do.

Just a little mad.

You're allowed.

He did something mean, and you didn't even say nothing.

You were, like, buddy buddies, like poor him.

You weren't poor me.

You were all, oh, poor Josh.

Let me hang out with Josh all night and be sad for him

when he's the one that was bad.

[laughs] But Brittany, you have my ever

love and devotion to you.

Yeah, can it.

And you went to Karen with your problems, not me.

So why should I go to you?

Because Karen approached me and said

that she could see something was wrong and drug it out of me.

I'm not going to drag nothing out of you.

You know me.

That's not my style, kid.

Well, I apologize, Brittany.

But I saw you were in the living room with Jordan

and Curtis and Jamie.

And--

I know, but I just--

--I wasn't going to leave Josh standing outside all

by himself, or even more or less, let the three

of yous bang up on him.

But again, I don't see Josh as being a selfish person.

I don't.

But come on now, you got four people on your side.

Josh is by himself.

You said he's selfish.

I don't feel he's selfish.

I apologize for not coming in and consoling you last night.

But I saw you were surrounded by people.

I didn't need your consolation.

I just needed you to go, that sucks.

But if you know that I know that you

know that I know that you know that I know that it sucks--

It sucks?

And it does, chicks.

Josh blames Jordan for his predicament.

I'm a little angry with Jordan,

not because she came to me and confronted me or talked

to the other girls or whatever.

That's probably a good thing.

But because she saw the entire thing with me, her,

and Brittany as a competition.

And she was willing to do anything to win over Brittany

or show was best or whatever.

And I just think that's kind of mean.

I mean, I know that I did things that were probably mean.

But I don't think my intentions were

ever directly mean like that.

Nobody's perfect.

And I've always been the type of guy that was pretty

comfortable around women.

And-- but the funny thing is the girls that I was most attracted

to or the girls that I like the best

are the ones I can relate to the best.

I clammed up around her and never said too much too her.

And I know that out of all the girls,

I probably talked the least to Jamie,

spent the least time with her.

And that's probably-- that's always been my fault,

when it came to girls.

And now it's like I don't feel like I

have a place to do anything because I

know Brittany's still here.

And I don't want to hurt her feelings.

And I'm saying that from the beginning,

I could have always seen the best

potential with a relationship with Jamie,

out of the three girls.

There's been a big focal point on a relationship between me

and Jordan and me and Brittany.

And no one in the house has any clue about me and Jamie.

And maybe there isn't anything there.

But I know there is.

Curtis's criticism of Jordan gets a delayed reaction.

Curtis said something that really

offended me the other day.

And I know that, like, I've said many things in this house

that have offended people.

But it's just I want to be strong right now and not cry.

It's just life sucks.

You know how like emotionally detached

he is for so many things.

He's just like-- everything is so systematic.

And he said, like, plus, the way that you

reacted after the last nomination, he's like--

[crying] he's like, it was just so dramatic and just so--

he's like, it was just so dramatic and so ugly

and like, you know, the world just could see your ugliness.

And I'm like--

[crying]

--and like at least I have feelings, you know?

At least things matter to me.

[sniffles] I know that when he goes home,

he's going to have a meltdown.

[crying]

He's going to be smiling and laughing.

And he's going to get really drunk, because that's

how he's going to deal with it.

[sniffles] And he's going to sit in his living room alone.

And he's going to cry--

Hm.

--because this sucks.

[crying]

[sniffles]

I'm just being so--

I'm like really emotional right now.

But it just really hurt my feelings when he said that.

Like, I said [inaudible] isn't so ugly.

It's not, is it?

Have you talked to him about it?

No, because--

I don't know, I just--

I feel kind of shut down by him, just

like when I talk about my feelings, he's just like so--

he's so concrete, like he just doesn't feel these things.

And everything is like formulaic.

Like, well, don't be upset because equation x

says that, you know, your variable isn't

conducive to the situation.

I mean, if he thought that that was

like really like a display of ugliness,

that like he doesn't get it at all.

He just doesn't get me at all.

I just-- I don't have as many meltdowns in my regular life,

because I just--

I go exercise or I go write or I, like--

[sighs]

Or you have privacy.

--I talk to really good friends.

[CHUCKLING] You have privacy, maybe?

Or maybe friends?

I miss my privacy.

I just-- I really, really miss my best friend.

And I never knew how much she did for me.

Mm.

That's something this house will show you is how important, you

know, your close relationships and your support group are,

definitely.

I always thought it was good to have emotions,

because I always have--

I was always have relationships, and I have good friends.

I mean, I can even feel connected to somebody

at a strip club, [chuckles] you know?

And I come in here, and I just feel

like this just isn't happening, like everyone

else is just so stable.

And they're just here to have fun and play cards

and do chores.

And I feel like I should not have come here.

The houseguests challenge each other to a water balloon toss.

They divide into three teams of Blue, White, and Yellow.

Oh!

[splash] - [squeals]

Wow.

It's laughing at you now.

Woo!

[laughter]

Ready!

Oh, do you want it, Brittany?

Woo!

[splash]

All right!

Oh!

You.

[splash]

[squeals]

[laughter]

Oh, get it, get it, get it, get it, get it!

Throw, Eddie!

Go get it, George!

[squeals]

Go get it, George!

[laughs]

Here we go.

Oh, look out!

[laughs]

Yeah!

Oh, look out, y'all.

Oh, all right.

[laughter]

[cheering]

[applause]

[grunting]

[laughter]

That sucked.

You guys should've had [inaudible]..

[laughter]

After days of work, the , dominoes are nearly in place.

Silly.

They said they were returning?

[dominoes fall]

How far did it go?

Oh, just this line right here.

Oh.

I have a little bit of a boo-boo that I have to fix,

but it's OK.

Good thing it didn't do the other one.

Look at how close that was.

I know, I know, I know.

[repositioning dominoes]

Yeah.

OK.

[dominoes fall]

Mhm.

You seem to like it.

No problems.

No, it's small.

You got it.

It's perfect.

I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine.

Try just--

[sighs] it's like contagious or something.

[dominoes falling]

OK, mozzarella and cheddar, OK.

Mmm, that sounds great.

My hands are dirty, you guys.

Aw.

These are the rows I just finished

working on, plus two additional--

three additional ones.

That's all right.

That's OK.

[grunts]

Just--

Want to slide them out, Cassandra?

--start new.

I don't know that you have to do that, though, Curtis.

Look at this.

Look at this, OK?

Just give me a minute, OK?

OK.

It's not bad, [chuckles] steady hand.

Well, almost steady hands.

[chuckles]

Wait, I'm going to the whites.

Now this is all whites too.

White, yep, go white all the way,

until you hit the black, the single black.

[dominoes falling]

Whoa, whoa, whoa, grab them!

Oh, no, no.

[dominoes stop]

That's OK.

OK, you guys, I'm stopping.

[chuckles]

OK.

[whistling]

Don't worry about it.

No.

What do you guys think, a fresh start and just

do sections [inaudible]?

I don't.

You guys, it's all in the same order.

It's all in the right order, OK?

OK.

I understand, but--

See?

Like this one I just set up just now?

Uh-huh.

OK, it fell down and then it hits over there.

I just think you lose more time if you

try to set them up again.

OK, give me one chance.

Let's just try something, OK? - OK.

Like, I want to stack them all.

And then we can just redo the push message back.

Yeah.

Stack them on the floor--

That way, we don't have to count them up.

[dominoes falling]

OK.

This is going to be so good.

But we got a lot of [inaudible]..

Just push out and start over.

'Cause we can be fast.

Eddie was asked to give George a surprise package.

Bust it open, George.

Read them.

[tearing open package]

What is it?

Do you know what this is, Eddie?

I have no idea. You know, Eddie?

- Well, why don't you tell us? - Huh?

Why don't you open up and read it?

- Look at his face. - [laughing]

He knows what it is.

Is it from your kids?

Oh.

Aw, that's sweet.

His kids sent them letters right now.

They asked us to pass them along to him.

So I just [inaudible].

Aw, that makes me want to cry.

I know.

That's so sweet.

Yeah.

I get way too emotional.

That's OK.

Um-- [sighs] you guys are--

you been very good to me and everything else like that.

And I appreciate that very, very much,

because you have to consider [sniffles] me

being away from home is really tough.

But I'm going to read you a letter, if you guys don't mind.

Love to hear it.

OK.

This is from my oldest daughter Jessica.

"Dear Dad, I'm so glad that we get to write you a letter.

Mom hopes summer camp has been going well."

That's what they call this.

I'm in "summer camp," OK?

[chuckles]

"There are tons of things going on every day.

We all miss you a lot.

But the whole g*ng is taking care of us

and watching out for us.

Dad, you might want to rethink some of your outfits--"

[laughter]

She's so diplomatic.

[laughing]

"--especially the Hawaiian boxers.

The Jayhawks shirt is great.

The wig action [chuckles]---- oh, no.

[laughter]

The wig action on TV is a hit, like the yellow pillow

strapped to your butt.

[laughter]

Keep up the exercise and maybe lay off the PBR.

[laughter]

You'll be in the competition with Magoo.

This is a guy who does bodybuilding, OK, Magoo.

[chuckles] Your profile from the first night's show was best.

We watched it more times.

We all gather together and watch it on the TV every night.

I am so proud of you, [sniffles] as is Mom and the rest of us.

You know Mom sends as much [sniffles] love as she can.

[overcome with emotion]

Now-- [sighs deeply]

now-- now feel yourself loved, hugged, and encouraged

by Mom, me, Nicole, and Emily.

[sniffles] Even though we miss you, we are behind you %

to go the distance."

This is my daughter Jessica.

"BW Beatles on special order, ready to arrive October st--

[laughter]

--to give you any pleasure.

Ha, ha, Jess.

As we say back here, keep George in the house.

Bye."

[sniffles] That's my letters. - That's great.

Aw.

Thank you, guys, for your time.

Let me see your picture.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

I-- [sniffles] Oh, [sighs]--

thank you, guys, very much.

I'm-- like I say, this is--

you guys can maybe just-- do you want to just look it over?

And this is my daughter Emily.

Aw.

The seven-year-old?

That's going on the refrigerator.

[chuckles] [blows kiss]

Come here.

I'm glad that you [inaudible].

[chuckles] Ah, appreciate that, you guys.

See?

You didn't abandon them?

Oh, Josh, you're so sweet.

Thanks, Josh.

Do you hear me?

Appreciate that.

Thanks.

After George reads his letters,

Josh is overcome with emotion.

Would you rather be left alone?

[sniffling]

It's OK to cry.

Oh.

[sniffles] [clears throat] I'm all right.

Come on, let's go.

Hey, hey, hey, whoa.

[chuckles] Go on.

Come on.

[sniffles]

Jordan and Curtis talk again about being

marked for banishment.

I have gone through my head a million times as to how

the voting worked out.

You want to know who voted for you.

Mhm.

But I won't ask.

I don't have a right to know.

You absolutely have a right to know.

I don't agree, not at this time, not now,

or to put it upon anyone.

I totally disagree with that, and I

wouldn't do that to anyone.

I would be angered if somebody wanted to do that to me.

And I wouldn't do it to somebody else.

I think it's your right to ask any question.

Uh-huh.

You know, people might perceive it as

rude or too forthright or too--

Right.

--you know?

I mean, people can perceive it that way.

But you have every right to ask a question.

Really just sucking it up and dealing, you know what I mean?

And you're going to have to do that,

because it may be you here seven days from now.

It may be me here.

Whether it's me or you, both of us have to be that way.

It sucks for it to be this early on, 'cause

we're like the guinea pigs.

But everybody else is going to have to do it too.

Yeah.

That sucking up thing, like, yeah.

But I don't-- that's not my nature.

To suck it up and deal?

[laughing]

It is my nature to deal.

Uh-huh.

It is my nature to deal, but it's not

my nature to be so accepting.

Yeah, I know.

You know, it's not my nature just to be like, oh, OK--

that's OK, fine.

I'm like, no, this is what I want.

This is what I see.

Yeah.

You know, I'm very aggressive that way.

And I think that's what really got me in "trouble"--

Right.

--here to begin with.

I feel like, have I just totally [muted] up or something?

I mean, I'm just being me.

Right.

You know?

And I'm like, but everyone seems to think that's like so bad.

[laughs]

You know?

Like it's just-- I'm just so bad being me.

And I think, am I?

Do I just kind of suck?

I mean, you've got to know that you don't suck

and that you're not this bad person.

And yeah, I still hold to my conviction

that, yeah, after nominations, you were sort of ugly.

And I didn't like how you would act with Mega.

But when you leave here, it's not like it's going to be--

like you're locked into this, like [gasps] people

viewing you as this horrid person at all,

you know what I mean?

Like, certain events may have given

people that impression of you.

You seem always like just really

consistent in like who you are.

Maybe I only come across as some sort

of serious, smart guy, maybe with a sense of humor.

But you know, the other qualities in me

that I value or I'm trying to grow

or that I think are prominent in me, maybe

aren't as prominent as I think.

And maybe I need to work on that.

I really don't want to go.

Everyone comes together to reset the board

for the domino challenge.

There's a little bit of fear doing this part,

just because if you screw up, it's like a big screw-up.

[dominoes fall]

Ugh.

One slip-up, and this whole thing is gone.

Will the houseguests reset the dominoes

in time for the challenge?

Tune in tomorrow night and find out.
