[Peg sighs] When we were first married,

Pete would do anything to show he cared--

Climb a mountain

to bring me the first blue
cornflower of spring,

work any job he could get

just to earn enough money
to buy me a little gold ring.

[Goofy] Aw. Isn't that sweet?

[Peg] Yeah. He worshiped
the earth clods I walked on.

Kept a jar of them under his pillow.

But now that it's our 20th anniversary,

he'd sooner remember the number of dimples
