it was a beautiful morning at terrytown

airport

the skies were filled with large fluffy

clouds

a perfect day for one of jj's favorite

games

hide and go seek and that's exactly what

jj

snuffy and lena were doing

lina snuffy where are

you i know you're in there

okay here i come

you'll never find me

i found you hey where did you

come from first i heard you

then i saw you cutting through that big

cloud

i don't know i thought he was with you

i thought he was with you snuffy

snuffy can you hear me he must be in

there

somewhere i'll call brenda and maybe

she can reach him good idea jj

this is jj calling brenda blue are you

there brenda i'm here jj what's up

we were playing hide-and-go-seek in the

clouds but

we lost snuffy have you seen him

no i haven't but don't worry jj i'll try

to call him

huh this is unusual i wonder where he

could be

jj how long ago did you see snuffy

it seems like he was just here but now

that you mentioned it

i'm not sure when we last saw him

okay i think i know the mystery of where

he might be

like to solve

and snuffy got so tired of playing

hide-and-go-seek

he just flew down here to take a nap i

know how he feels

when you're in the clouds you have to

listen very

carefully yeah sometimes

hearing becomes more important than

seeing

exactly and that's the mystery we're

going to solve today

the mystery of the five senses

lina jj are you ready to help me solve

this mystery

do you know what a sense is

um i'm not sure is it

a way to learn something yes

and we have five senses and each one

helps us

in a different way so i'll put a picture

up on the screen

and you can tell me what it is and which

sense it is used for okay

okay can you help me with these

that's an ear

so so the sense is

hearing good the sense of hearing

now look at this one

those are eyes

so so the senses

see that's right jj the sense of sight

or seeing now look at this one

that's a nose

so the senses

smelling yes the sense of smell

and there are good smells and stinky

smells

aren't there how many senses have we

named

three three yes

three so far can someone name one of the

other two senses

how about you can you name the other two

senses

did you say touch and taste you're right

okay what is this picture

that's easy those are hands

for the sense of touch

you're absolutely right the sense of

touch

and the last one

hmm close the tongue gives us our sense

of taste

okay here they are again the five

senses the ear is for the sense of

hearing the eyes

are for the sense of

sight the nose

is for the sense of

smell the hands

are for the sense of

touch and the tongue is for the sense of

taste good knowing the five

senses is part of the mystery and the

other part

is discovering them where anywhere in

terrytown

so lena i want you to find your favorite

site and jj please find your favorite

wow that's hard i like so many sounds

welcome back jj my favorite sound is

hearing everyone welcomed me home after

a long trip

favorite sight is when the sun shines on

the mountain in the early morning

making it glow like masha magic

the sunrise is my favorite sight

good you've discovered two senses

already

the sense of hearing and the sense of

sight

next is a sense of smell as i've said

there are some stinky smells

yeah like a skunk ew

you're right jj but there are some

wonderful smells too

lena i'd like for you to go find your

favorite smell in

all of terrytown okay okay brenda

and jj the fourth sense is a sense of

touch

i'd like you to go and find your

favorite thing to touch okay

got it brenda i know just where i wanna

where are you i've just touched one of

my

favorite places sandy landing

i love to run my wheels in the sand it's

amazing brenda

i can see the ocean and a large

boat and i can hear the waves on the

shore

and i can smell the ocean

jj you've just experienced four of the

five senses

all in one place boy oh boy it sure has

made me hungry

with all this ocean air i can just taste

a big

fish dinner come on home jj

you just might experience the sense of

taste

i'm on my way

wow these flowers smell great

and i hear those birds but it looks like

rain

i'd better get home this is lena calling

branda blue

are you there brenda i'm here lina

it's gotten foggy and hard to see

but if you couldn't sound a horn i will

hear

it and i can go in that direction

good idea you can use your sense of

hearing and before long

you might even smell dinner being cooked

wow the smells can guide me home

too bingo ambre i'm

hungry

and i used my five senses all along the

way

too let's see if i can remember the five

senses i love to

see the forest trees and hear a big

brass bed

i love to smell the ocean breeze feel

the waves

and touch the sand

yummy from the dinner plate that's

passed my way

that night all of the planes had

gathered together for a big dinner

it was a chance to see if their sense of

taste had improved

and a chance to celebrate the five

senses and they could not have learned

about them
