to look for the ghost. Ismat and Fred.

-I think the ghost is in the vents.

We're really far down.

for us to climb out.

We're stuck here forever.

I wish I'd never seen
that ghost in the first place.

it's coming right towards us!

Please, Mr. Ghost,
don't possess me, or eat me,

or force me to revisit Christmases past,
or whatever ghosts do.

Actually, I have no idea what this is.

It looks kinda like
what I saw in the glass last night.

Now that we found our ghost,
let's find a way outta here.

Oh! And that's the same sound I heard.

wasn't a ghost at all.

It was this thing.

Now that I look at it,
it's not that scary.

It's kind of goofy.

And very few ghosts wear sunglasses.

Or are made of cardboard.

[laughing]

has driven them mad with fear!

Ridley! Dudley! Dudes, you okay?

We'll explain everything once we get out.

Eyes Team, may I present the Summer Ghost.

Well, I'm no rocket scientist.

Still, I'm pretty sure that ain't a ghost.

Exactly! There is no Summer Ghost.

It was just this cardboard cutout.

Must've fallen into the vents
a really long time ago,

and it only haunted on the hottest days

because that's when the air
from the AC moved it around.

And the rattling wail was this.

[moans]

But what about everyone
in the museum who saw the ghost?

They thought they saw a ghost,
but here's what they actually saw.

I'm sorry I got everyone so worked up.
I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions.

And I definitely shouldn't have spread
the news around before I knew the truth.

It's not all your fault, Dudley.

I should have realized that just
because everyone says something is true,

doesn't mean it is.

Because as Mama always says, facts matter.

So, if it's not a ghost,
then, like, what is it?

Dizzy Derples.

Eh, Dizzy what-sles?

[chuckles]
Dizzy Derples was the museum's mascot,

and this cardboard cutout of him
went missing years back.

Now I know where.

That just leaves the mystery
of the real Dizzy Derples.

Wait. There's a real Dizzy Derples?

You mean this is an actual animal?

Uh, not exactly.

But that's a story for another day.

For now, I wouldn't say no
to a nice, cold summer snack.

Oh, she's the leader of the herd.

She says I wouldn't fit in with them.

I'm sure there's another way
to keep Luann from buying you.

[mammoths trumpeting]

[gasps] A baby mammoth fell into
the ice crevasse?

What? That looks way too dangerous.

but they don't know how to climb.

but the last time you tried climbing,

you pulled a whole rock-climbing wall
