I mean, Mickey's Silly Problem.

Hi everybody! Ah, it's great to see you!

Because I have something fun
to share with you today.

It's a storybook called, Once Upon A Time.

Oh, I can't wait to read it!

[CLEARS THROAT]

"Once upon a time..."

-[PLUTO BARKS]
-Hmm?

It's Pluto!

Aw, hiya, boy!

[SPITS]

Oh, looks like you want
to play bouncy ball.

Yeah, yeah.
[PANTS]

Well, right now
I'd really like to read my book.

But, uh, maybe we can play later.

[WHIMPERING]

Aw. Okay, pal.

[PANTS, BARKS]

[BEEPING]

Uh-oh!
[LAUGHS]

Something silly's happening
to the Silly Switch!

Oh, look at the Silly Meter!

It's rising past Silly.

And even higher past Very Silly.

And still higher all the way up
to Super Silly!

What's going to happen?

[HONKING, QUACKING]

Why, it's just a golf ball.

That's not silly at all.

Whoa!

[MAKES DONKEY SOUNDS]

[TRUMPETS]

[SHOES GIGGLING]

Hm, gee, this sure is silly. Really!

[DOORBELL RINGS]

-Hi, Mickey!
-[SHOES GIGGLES]

-This is nuts!
MINNIE: Oh, dear!

DAISY: Oh, my!
GOOFY [LAUGHING]: Gosh! That's silly!

Mickey, what's going on?

Well, I was sitting in my comfy chair,
when Pluto's ball flew in the air.

It hit the Silly Switch, you see.

And now everything's silly,
don't you agree?

Huh? You sound funny, Mickey.

Well, what do you mean, old pal of mine?

I think I'm speaking fine!

[GASPS]
You did it again, Mick!

You rhymed your words.

Gee, I know I didn't always rhyme,

but now I'm doing it all the time!

PLUTO:
Moo! Moo!

Moo!

Gosh, Pluto, you sound strange.

Did something in your voice just change?

Moo!

Hmm? Is that the sound that dogs make?

Moo!

No! What animal makes that sound?

Right, a cow!

[CHUCKLES]
And that sure is silly!

What animal does Pluto sound like now?

Meow. Meow.

Yep! A kitty cat.

[SCREECHES]

This is nuts!

What's going on here?

[TUBA SOUNDS]

Wow, Pluto meowed like a cat
and mooed like a cow,

but a tuba's what he sounds like now!

I think we need to turn off
the Silly Switch!

-Let me do it!
-Come on, I got it!

[GRUNTING]

DONALD: Whoa!
GOOFY: Oh!

What's the big idea?
[GRUMBLES]

Um, sorry Mickey, uh,
but the Silly Switch is stuck...

All our Mouseketools are a mystery!

MINNIE: We usually have only one

Four! What are we going to do?

MINNIE: Why don't we uncover each
Mystery Mouseketool

and see what we have to pick from?

MICKEY: Now that we're making up
brand new rules,

everybody say, "Mystery Mouseketools!"

ALL: Mystery Mouseketools!
-[BELLS RINGING]

MINNIE:
Let's take a peek at each one.

What's under the red question mark?

GOOFY:
Maybe it's a balogna sandwich!

MINNIE:
Ooh! It's a red compass! [GIGGLES]

That's for helping us figure out
which direction to go.

GOOFY: I was kind of hoping
for something tastier.

DAISY:
What's under the blue question mark?

MINNIE:
Ooh! Blue blocks with numbers.

Those are always fun!

I wonder what's under
the green question mark.

DAISY: Oh, goody-goody!
Green suction-cup shoes!

Those are good for climbing.

And behind the yellow question mark is...

GOOFY:
A yellow handy fishing rod.

That's handy!

MINNIE: Now that we know
what all our Mouseketools are,

which one can help us pull down
the Silly Switch and turn it off?

Well, let's use our memories,
what do you say?

Then we can pick our Mouseketools today!

How about the yellow handy fishing rod?

We could use it to pull the Switch.

MICKEY:
First, we need to answer this little quiz.

MINNIE:
That's right!

MICKEY:

we have to go back to the clubhouse

and turn off the Silly Switch.

Who knows what might happen
if it stays on all day!

Gee, Minnie, guess you're right,
but... but look!

[CHUCKLES]
The clubhouse is out of sight!

Which way do we go to get back there?

Well, when we need help,
we call on whoodles?

"Whoodles"? Oh, that's easy.

Everybody say...

ALL:
Toodles!

The clubhouse is where we want to go.

Which Mouseketool can help us,
do you know?

MINNIE: Do you remember
what Mouseketool can help us figure out

which direction we should go?

DAISY:
The compass! Goody!

Its needle can show us
which direction to go.

GOOFY: And where do you think that sneaky
little compass-thingy is hiding?

MICKEY:
All right! The red compass is there,

and you found it fair and square!

We got ears! Say, "Cheers!"

Hmm.

We need to go back to the clubhouse,

so if we're going in the right direction,

the compass' needle
will point to the Clubhouse.

But if we start going
in the wrong direction,

the needle will move away
from the clubhouse

and point to the place we're headed.

GOOFY:
Sounds amazing!

DONALD:
You said it!

Let's start walking,
and see if we can find our way back home.

GOOFY: The needle's pointing
to Mistletoe Mountain.

Is that the way we want to go?

DONALD:
No!

I'll just turn around, okay?

So tell me, is this the right way?

GOOFY: Well, the needle is pointing
at the clubhouse,

so the answer is...

DONALD:
Yes!

Come on, everybody,
follow me, Mickey Mouse.

Let's all go back to our clubhouse!

Hooray! We no longer have to roam.

We finally found our way back home!

Whoa, that's a shock!

The clubhouse door now has a lock!

to unlock the door?

So when we need one, we call whoodles?

MINNIE: All that's left
are two Mystery Mouseketools.

Do you remember seeing a Mouseketool

GOOFY:
Yep! One of these Mouskedoodles

is a bunch of blocks with numbers.

Maybe they can help us open the lock.

DAISY: Which question mark
do you think they're under?

DONALD: Blue!
MICKEY: Yep, blue!

I thought the same thing too!

We got ears! Say, "Cheers!"

So let's see.

We have the numbers,

five, eight and three!

Oh, dear. The lock's still locked.

Maybe the numbers need to go
in a different order.

How about we try smallest to biggest?

Let's begin with the smallest blue number.

Which number is that?

GOOFY:
Hmm. If we start counting up from one,

two would be next, and then...

DONALD:
I know! Three!

MINNIE:
Uh-huh! Three!

DONALD:
I'm good with numbers. [CHUCKLES]

MINNIE: Now the last number
is the biggest one.

And what's the biggest
blue number we have?

GOOFY:
Well, I know. Eight!

DAISY:
Right, Goofy!

And the blue numbered block that goes in
between the three and the eight is...?

DONALD:
Number five!

DAISY: Goody!
Five is between three and eight!

Gosh! It didn't work!

Aw, phooey!

Well, why don't we try a different order?

Like biggest to smallest?

That's a goody idea!

This time let's count down
from the biggest blue number.

And the biggest blue number is...

DONALD:
Eight!

DAISY:
Eight, right!

And the smallest blue number is...

DONALD:
Three!

DAISY:
Yes! Three goes last.

So the number that goes in the middle
should be smaller than eight

but bigger than three.

And that blue number is...?

DONALD & GOOFY:
Five!

DONALD:
Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy!

DONALD & GOOFY:
We did it!

All right!

This is just what I was hoping.

We figured out the right order,
and now the lock is open!

What?

MINNIE:
Oh, dear!

DONALD:
What's the big idea?

DAISY:
Oh! Hold the phone!

PLUTO:
Moo?

Gosh, that's a lot of doors!

Wait a minute.

Let me try, Mickey.

[STRAINED VOICE]
Come on, come on.

Open up, you!

Oh!

[CHUCKLES]
Why me?

Gee, if we can't use the door,

how are we going to get inside
the clubhouse?

Well, sometimes when we're
in the clubhouse

and want to go outside,

instead of going out the door,
we go up the upslide!

Then let's try going up the upslide

-to get inside!
-[DONALD YELPS]

GOOFY: Oh, no! The upslide is gone!
MINNIE: How rude!

This silliness is out of whack!

We've got to pull that Silly Switch back!

Oh, my! If we can't get in
through the door...

And if we can't even find the upslide,

what can we use to get inside...

BOTH:
And turn off the Silly Switch?

Well, I can see a way that's not too far.

By the fanfara, it's the Cup Car!

GOOFY:
Good thinking, Mickey.

If you could get up there,
you could use the Cup Car

to get down into the clubhouse,
and open the door for everyone!

But how can we get up to the Cup Car?

Ooh, I know!

We need a Mousekesomething.
A Mouseke-what's-it, a...

A Mouseketool!

Yep! That too!

We need lots of help, and I mean oodles!

So everybody say...

ALL:
Oh, Toodles!

MINNIE: Well, there's only
one Mystery Mouseketool left.

Do you remember what it is?

Yep! The suction-cup shoes!

Perfect for climbing.

GOOFY: And they're spiffy-looking too!
[CHUCKLES]

MICKEY:
Hey, you know, that's music to my ears.

We picked all our Mystery Mouseketools,

say, "Super Cheers!"

[BEEPING]

[SQUEAKING]

Do you think this is going to work?

It better!

[DOOR UNLOCKS]

Come on in, don't be slow.

We've got work to do. Let's go!

Meow, meow.

-Gosh.
MINNIE: Oh, my goodness gracious!

DAISY: Oh, dear!
DONALD: This is outrageous!

Keep your eyes open.

Now, now, watch where you're going,

because the Silly Switch's silliness
sure isn't slowing!

Watch it, you big palooka!

Oh!

Look, Mickey,
the handy fishing rod is still here.

Great, now I can use it to grab the switch

and turn it off without a hitch.

Come on, pull down the switch with me.

With a one, two...

[STRAINED VOICE]
and three!

[POWERING DOWN]

Hot dog! It worked!

"Hot dog! It worked?"

Hot dog! It worked!

Hey, I'm not rhyming my words anymore!

[BARKS]

Pluto! You can bark again!

[BARKS, THEN SLURPS]

We did it!

[LAUGHS]

Now I can read my storybook.
