Aren't you at all interested in the Trainer who caught that Pokémon?

and then passed him, aren't you?

The point is, it's about time for that Trainer's first trial mission.

Project Mew just sent over my very first trial mission!

It says I should definitely consider using my Pokémon's different skills

in order to get to the goal.

I feel most comfortable with, out of these three.

It says I should gather a Volcarona's golden scales!

But what exactly do they mean

with a truly golden color.

At the Desert Resort in Unova!

It contains the Colossus Ruins where we caught Golurk!

And it had a golden room, which if I'm right,

could mean there's a golden Volcarona located there!

[Narrator] Goh and Ash are meeting the challenge

of Project Mew's trial mission head-on!

So, they've come to the Colossus Ruins in the Unova region.

Mr. Leader, we're on the lookout for Volcarona.

[Ash] When Goh did a search,

it said there were a lot of sightings nearby.

And since they appeared, no one's seen a trace of Volcarona.

I wonder what all the writing means.

forced a gold rush town to shut its doors once and for all.

But it's possible a brand-new adventure is waiting there!

It's made from soil several hundred years old.

[suspenseful music]

[all exclaim]

I got some of Volcarona's golden scales! I did it!

That is so cool!

[both cheering]

[laughs]

[wind whooshes]

-The wind's really strong. -Pika.

You'd think I'd leave behind an incredibly rare golden Volcarona?

sometimes gently flowing, and sometimes swirling and churning.

-[Ash and Goh] Yup! -[Pokémon chitter]

Your trial mission was to gather some golden scales,

isn't that right?

Did you succeed?

Yes! Here they are.

[beeping]

It's now confirmed. You've completed the mission.

-Really? -Good for you, Goh!

As we've mentioned before,

you're gonna have to collect a lot more tokens,

at least if you wanna be accepted.
