they met a Pokémon archeologist named Ferris


who had discovered a cover fossil.


However, Team Rocket was after the fossil as well


and managed to steal it


and restore the ancient Pokémon Tirtouga.


But when Tirtouga ran away in a state of fear


and confusion, our heroes set off after it in a flash.
