was ravaged

by a rare
and freakish phenomenon

known as a cloudburst.

The skies darkened

The punishing force
decimated the town

and k*lled nearly 200 people.

There's no doubt
the scars left by this event

have upset the balance

of paranormal energy
in this region.

the dark energy in the home

This battle
saw dozens of casualties,

spread across this very

seemed to have left a curse

Shaun's ancestors.

There was a man
who has married

to Catherine Doherty Nelson

by the Indians
on up the road.

They k*lled three men there.

Grandpa always told us,
like, the shootouts,

like, in the stone fence
out front has these squares

and they used put the g*ns at

because there was
a stagecoach

and there'd be raids
coming through.

nearly broke him

took his life here.
