is just around the corner,

and Christmas in our house
is a massive deal.

football, it means he has Christmas off.

So we're able to go
on holiday to Barbados.

[Kit] I've got a massive one!

[Coleen] But as soon as I get home
I've got to get stuck into work.

I'm preparing for
the upcoming launch of my Primark range.

[photographer] That's perfect.

Obviously we want
the clothes to do the talking.

The big photo sh**t is
just around the corner.

But disaster has struck
and I've broken my foot.

Some New Year sun with the family
should be the perfect time to relax.

-[Tony] Oh, frigging hell.

As long as there aren't
any surprises that rock the boat.

Ruben Amorim has been sacked
at Manchester United.

Man United at the minute, I think it needs
people who know the club there.

So I've been thinking
about coaching again.

If he was to go back into football

and he was to go away,
that would upset the whole thing.

It's the big photo sh**t for Primark.

Might be worth doing a tight crop in.

It's gonna be the first time where
I see the complete collection done.

It is gonna be a "wow" moment.

She's always loved her fashion.
She's always been a great model on set.

She really knows how to work
the camera and she looks fantastic.

I love this tan.

What... Everybody's saying...
I didn't think I have that much of a tan.

I think what I'm excited about
is seeing it on myself

and just getting a feel of how
it's gonna look on your general public.

-However, I have a broken foot.
-[crew member chuckles]

It's a bit insane. I'm gonna take
this off while I'm sitting here.

-I can't believe it.
-Yeah, I know.

I know. It's just inconvenient.

It was Wayne's 40th birthday.
The theme was music legends.

Wayne was Freddie Mercury.
And I was dressed as Dolly Parton.

I was a bit top-heavy.
I had some fake boobs in

and I literally just went over on me heel,
and unfortunately I'm now in a boot.

I'm not sure how much
it will affect the sh**t,

but it is going to be a bit of a problem.

Our customers are very, very savvy.

So the product that we offer in store
has to represent who she is as a person.

It can't be contrived.

She's clearly
the anchor, and she's the name.

Hi, you okay?
Yeah. [chuckles] Nice to meet you.

I mean, Coleen for us is a big moment.

When you walk in-store, you wanna think,

"Yeah, Coleen would wear all of this,
but so would I."

Today is all about making sure
that we get those right shots.

It's across the globe for Primark,
so it's going to be

in 17 of our-our countries,
which is going to be amazing.

Front and centre in our windows, across
all of our social channels, our website.

It all happens after today,

once we're all agreed on-on
what those brilliant shots are.

How is your foot, by the way?

-Um, it's okay. It's just broke.
-Yeah. [laughing]

There's nothing else I can say about it.

I've been back and forth to London,
Dublin...

So it's been a long time coming.

I think once we've done the photo sh**t,
then it will be real to me.

You know, the collection is so strong.

We've got the Errand Essentials
and we've got the Brunch and Beyond.

So creatively,
I think we can have fun with that.

Definitely. I think it is...
It's, like, ele... It's classy. It's...

-It's quite simple but effective.
-Yeah, yeah.

And I think obviously we want
the clothes to do the talking, don't we?

-[Steve] Absolutely, yeah.

And again, we can do so much.

[Coleen] We can just work as we go along,

You know it probably better than every...
anyone, so, like...

If this all comes together,
it's gonna be beautiful hopefully.

To see the collection
come to life on the photo sh**t,

I think that's gonna be
a massive moment for me.

happening to make sure

that we got the shots.

Steph was a bit concerned that the brown

Steph is always looking out for me
and I really appreciate that.

At the end of the day, if we don't

I know what you mean.

We're not saying you can't do sexy.

[Cassie] I think there's a difference

there's a Christmas party.

So I don't have a personal stylist,

We've been dressing you for Julie's
Christmas party ever year, haven't we?

It's a big one in the calendar.

It's always been big, but every year

Yeah, we've loved it,
and we've loved getting dressed for it.

And it's the most glitz,
glam event of the day. Literally.

People that come that
haven't been before...

Julie Perry is Cheshire's
finest event organiser.

She's done all our parties and events.

From our wedding
to the kids' christenings,

birthday parties...

And she does an amazing job.

Every year in Manchester,
she does a Christmas party.

It is the Christmas party that everyone
wants to get a table or a seat at.

It's not that I don't like it. I just feel
like do I want something a bit more "wow"?

to dress me. She done my 21st birthday.

Lots of different events
throughout my life.

And I quite like to go into store
'cause I love to catch up with her.

Over the years, like, when we've been

in here last-minute
Christmas shopping, and...

-Um, the wedding.

Yeah, the wedding.
The five dresses, the choices.

And that each one more
beautiful than the last, you know?

But you looked stunning at your wedding.

I went to get married
before the actual ceremony,

officially, in a registry office.

So I had to dress for that.

I had me wedding dress.

I had two other choices
of dress for the night-time.

That's a lot of dresses though, right?

A lot of dresses, yeah.

But I had the opportunity to-to do it, um,
and I had a lot of fun with it.

Yeah. But no, it was...

-it was fun. It was exciting.
-Oh, it was. What memories that was.

It's like...
It's gonna be 20 years soon, right?

-No, it's eight...
-In a couple of years?

-Seventeen, 18 next. Yeah.

But still,
it's only a couple of years away.

Our wedding DVD.

Any time we used to go out and people
used to come back to ours,

for years and years,
they all had to sit down

and watch our wedding DVD at,
like, two o'clock in the morning.

'Cause I was proud that you was me wife.
I'm showing everyone I know.

-Yeah. It was great.

Coleen recorded a poem to her dad.

[Coleen] Today is finally the day
that I will be the bride.

I look at you and see
a father being proud.

It was about, um,
"You're not gonna lose me, Dad.

Um, I looked for someone like you."

I remember as a little girl,
I felt comfort in your arms.

And hoping that someday I'll
find a man with all your charms.

it's a really nice event

to catch up with all
the girls before Christmas.

Everyone's so hectic
over the festive season,

so I always know that I'm gonna see

a group of girls that I'm close to,
and it's always gonna be a great day.

The Christmas party, it's guest list only.

If your name's on that list, you've done
something all right in Cheshire that year.

But the style is
as glamorous as you feel comfortable,

so think the highest
heels you've ever seen,

makeup is plastered on,
the rollers have been in for 48 hours,

and we go a bit feral.

-[Coleen] Ah, me zip's gone!

My zip's gone! On my skirt.

Sat down at the table, and literally
ten minutes after I sat down,

the zip bust on the back of me skirt.

It must have been a fault in the zip,
and it bust.

Danielle knew straight away that's what
had happened, and she came to sort me out.

On our way to the toilet to try
and fix her skirt, there was

a pop-up shop, and I was like, "Ask if
they've got a chocolate mini skirt there.

Let's hope it fits."

[Coleen] This is what I came in.
But then there's this on the rail there.

-Yeah, right.
-[Danielle] Oh, I've got her.

That's my girl. "I've got you from behind.
No one can see."

"Let's go and get this sorted." Dream team.

[Coleen] Oh, frigging hell.
"Let's hope it fits"?

Right, you need to zip me in here.

I hope I don't burst this one!

Between us both,
there was a mutual agreement

that we're gonna get this sorted.

And I think we did a pretty good job.

that we are all at home

together at the same time,

because there's football,
there's after-school clubs.

But when all four kids
are together, it can be chaos.

I barely do anything.

Kai is 16. Just turned 16.
He's determined to be a football player.

He's at Man United Academy.

You're talking about
training with the under 18s,

and then you're winding
your 9-year-old brother up.

He's put himself in a good position,
but he's...

He's at that age, where, you know,
you think you know everything.

Him, he's always right.

It's stupid. Now your mum can't even
sit down and have her food,

'cause she's gotta clean up after you.

I think we all probably were
the same when we were that age.

I try and give little bits
of advice when I can, really.

I think
what we are trying to do is help him

be ready whether that's
a footballer or something else.

Youse at that point now, aren't you, in
life where you think you know everything.

And you think you know more than...
and you know better than everyone.

I've been there.

You know, we know, me and Coleen,

both know what hardship is,
and know what it is.

And to fight to get what you
want, and they haven't had that.

Stop thinking about
what car you're gonna get.

-I don't.
-You do.

I mean, you've...
You've only just turned 16.

There's no point in thinking about that.
Get fit. Work hard.

I always think this constantly.
"How do you, you know, put that in them?"

That you know, working class,
Northern Grit, if you like.

People come to me now

and say the one thing they loved about me
more than anything was-was me work rate.

And that's the biggest
compliment you can get.

But this is the start for Kai,

and I say this to them,
"There's only you who can do it.

That's gotta come from inside of you."

You know you can't take your
driving test until you're 17?

-I can drive.
-[laughs]

I'm putting all the presents in
for the teachers and coaches.

I like to get them something meself

because they're putting up
with our kids all year round.

We just do birthdays, don't we?
We don't buy each other for Christmas.

I think when you've been together that
long as well, there's not... [stammers]

There's not many different things
you can buy each other, is there?

I've got... Well, I've got you
a pair of glasses coming, haven't I?

-Yeah, love this one.
-I got some of them Meta glasses.

And they're good for when you're away.

You was a bit obsessed with them
when you bought them, wasn't you?

When I was a kid, I... we used to
get up at, like, 3:00 in the morning.

[Tony] Happy Christmas, kids.

[Coleen] And it was never a problem.
We used to...

Me mum and dad used to take us down,

and we used to be riding bikes in the
street at four o'clock in the morning.

[Coleen]
We used to go to every family member.

Those all live quite close by.
So, it was a full day out.

Happy Christmas to all our family,

all our relations and all our friends

and everyone in the world.

[Coleen] I remember the year
I got the Spice Girls album.

I hate Christmas Day, to be honest.

The Grinch got me.
'Cause I've always had football and stuff.

I'd normally go
into training in the morning, come home,

have Christmas dinner and then go
back and go and stay at the hotel.

So, I've never really been
fussed on Christmas day.

So you should have a different mindset
now that you can enjoy it with your kids.

I know. I-I do enjoy it.

I love Christmas.
I love the build-up to Christmas.

the elves have brought this letter box.

I do like to bring
that Christmas spirit into the house.

Christmas Eve the kids get really excited,
'cause we put a mince pie

out for Santa, carrots out for Rudolph,
and they put it by the fireplace.

I love everything that comes with it,
and the excitement of the kids.

What child doesn't like Christmas?

What are you doing with the black one?

[Coleen] We have our own little
traditions that we do,

and it's a time to be
together and get really festive.

We always make
gingerbread men with the boys.

enjoying it more than the kids.

the time with the family is-is great.

[Coleen] Then a few days before Christmas
we go to visit Santa.

And the kids love going ice skating.

before we actually, like, go to bed.

Christmas morning was a very early start.

The kids had a ball. And it was so lovely.

And now I cannot wait to get to Barbados.
We're all really excited.

Because Wayne isn't involved in football,
we have got a Christmas this year.

So we can spend time
and go on holiday to Barbados.

The run up to Christmas
is always exhausting.

Me and Wayne have been working
quite a lot. So, this holiday is needed.
