We've been decorating all morning.

We've got some cool twinkly lights,

lots of hanging flowers,

and check out this pretty fairy garland.

We hung up these vines

with leaves and pretty flowers,



and I put pictures

of Kitty Fairy all over it.

Oh, and check this out.

I made my very own

Crafty Cotton Candy Tree.

And I covered it with Kitty Fairy's

very favorite Fairy Berries.

They're so sparkly.

I'll just add one right here. Boop!

Do you want me to show you how to make

your very own Fairy Fly Lantern?

Leaping lilies! Let's do it.

And to help us, I've got someone

who knows all about Fairy Flies.

It's me, Bitty Fairy.

Fairy Flies love these lanterns.

Okay.

To make our Fairy Fly Lantern,

we need a glass jar with a lid.

There's nothing in here.

Well, not yet.

We also need paper hearts and glue,

some glow-in-the-dark glitter glue,

paper kitty ears,

light green pipe cleaners,

pom-poms, and, of course,

twinkly fairy lights.

Oh, wow!

Let's start with the wings.

To make the fairy wings,

we're gonna use two paper hearts.

You can decorate them any way you want.

I'm gonna use some

glow-in-the-dark glitter glue for mine.

Me too.

Ooh! So glowy!

Now we can glue them

to the back of the jar.

Like this.

What's next? What's next?

Next, we glue two kitty-cat ears

to the top of the lid.

Boop!

Boop!

You can add some little craft flowers

to make a crown.

Boop! Boop! Boop!

And now it's time to make…

[in unison] …the deely boppers.

Glue one end of the pipe cleaner

and stick it into the pom-pom.

Like this?

You've got it.

Now take another pipe cleaner

and twist your deely boppers on

right in the middle.



Wrap this pipe cleaner

around the top of the jar

and twist it on tight.

Now for our handle.

Take another light green pipe cleaner,

bend it into a U-shape,



and twist each end

around the pipe cleaner ring.



[gasps] Deely boppers

are so fairy-riffic, aren't they?

The fairy best.

And for the last, most magical step,

let's add the fairy lights.

I've got 'em!

[gasps] It's so sparkly and glowy.

You can place your Fairy Fly Lantern

in

your

backyard

and see if any Fairy Flies come.

You mean, like me?

[both giggling]
