I'm 24 years old, and I'm a pro-surfer.

I spend the entire year
traveling the globe

in search of the perfect wave.

I was the Italian champion in 2023.

And in 2019,
I was on the Italian national team,

and we won the European Championship.

My love and passion for surfing
is thanks to my father.

He comes from the world of windsurfing

and he introduced me to the water
when I was young.

Our love of it just grew and grew.

Getting to experience it with him
is something that I'll always cherish.

that a surfer has what it takes

{\an8}I'm from Viareggio,
and sports mean everything to me.

I've tried all sorts of different stuff.

From skydiving
to all kinds of water sports,

to surfing and freediving.

I was the first person
to cross the Tyrrhenian Sea on my own

on a stand-up paddleboard, or SUP.

I'd say, certainly one of
the most dramatic moments of my life

was an accident I had seven years ago.

I literally broke my spine in two.

The first prognosis I got from the doctors
was that I'd never walk again.

A big reason I wanted
to be a part of this competition

was just to see how far I can push myself.

But I think the main thing I wanted
is to do it for my little girls.

I want to show them
that their dad is a pretty tough guy.

I'd never have imagined
myself being here

competing against a legend

My time here at Physical 100 has,
unfortunately, come to an end.

It was a tough decision,
but I have to listen to my body.

I'm still in the process of recovering

from a number of surgeries I had
due to breast cancer.

It didn't feel like the right time
to push myself any further.

It's not worth the risk,
and I'm at peace with the decision.

I do think we deserved it though.

goes back all the way to when I was a kid.

And now it's my job too.

I got into calisthenics
mainly thanks to my brother, actually.

He's a calisthenics coach,

and I guess
his passion for it was contagious,

There was a particularly
rough time in my life

{\an8}where I was really struggling
with anorexia nervosa.

It happened when I was in high school,

and it got so bad for a while
I could barely breathe.

I couldn't talk, I couldn't walk.
It was a really bad situation.

Finally, I had a doctor tell me,

"Look, you don't have a lot of time left,
your life is on the line."

That's when I stopped and said to myself,
"All right, that's enough."

So, with all the strength and willpower
I had left, I put myself to work.

It turned out that
one of the best things for me to do

in order to start dancing again
was calisthenics.

It's so good for your body,

and it got me back into
the shape I needed to be.

-I worked really hard to get where I am.

That's why my body is so important to me.

I know how to take care of myself
in a healthy way.

I'm so proud of how well
I take care of myself now.

It was a tough journey.
Now my sole focus is on winning.

All I want is to get to the end
and win it all.
