to be terrified.

an urban ghost hunter,

has challenged himself to remain
inside an abandoned church

that's said to be haunted
for at least 30 minutes.

Okay.

From when it was
founded in 1902,

this baptist church served
as a place of worship

until it was damaged
beyond repair

by hurricane irma in 2017.

All right, I'm coming in
through the side door.

And when I walked
into that place,

I'd lie if I said
I wasn't scared.

I was definitely scared.

It looks like it's ready
to collapse any minute.

All that's left inside
our damaged bibles,

broken furniture,

and someone or something else.

What the hell?

Oh, my goodness.

That's the bible.

Oh, wow. Look at that.

Oh, my god!

Oh, what do I do here?

I'm completely frozen, guys.
Completely frozen in my tracks.

The strange part of it is,

is that your whole body
just freezes up

where you just feel like you
just lock up and you can't move.

So that's kind of where
I was in that moment.

The clock is ticking,

but not nearly fast enough.

Oh, my god.

So I went to pick this up.

This whole thing.

Okay. This is really
freaking me out, guys.

There was definitely
something going on,

whether it was a spirit
or spirits

knocking these chairs over
or just,

you know, the energy
of this gentleman, of chris,

going in there causing that
to happen

or kind of intention pk.

I wish this would happen so much
that it happens.

I'm completely dizzy.

I'm so dizzy right now.

Just all of a sudden
out of nowhere,

I start breathing a little heavy

and I have to sit
because if I don't sit,

I don't know how long
I'm gonna be out for.

I have passed out once before,

and I don't want it
to happen again.

I hear something.

Halfway through,

chris attempts
to collect himself.

But then the haunting
becomes physical.

This just hit me in the head.

Chris now appears
to be under attack.

But is he in danger?

This has been a place of worship
for well over 100 years.

So this place has seen sadness,
hope, death,

baptisms, you know,
all sorts of things

that attribute to milestone
human events

and also becomes a crutch
for people's emotional

and spiritual well-being.

Something like a hurricane
to destroy a place like this,

that type of national disaster
can stir up all of that.

This chair stood up,
fell down, moved like crazy.

Look! Look!

That chair just moved.

I just don't understand it.

I just really
don't understand it.

But. Hey, whoa, whoa!!

What in the hell?

I think that this is
probably residual energy.

If it is a residual haunting,
then you're going to have people

moving chairs
to get ready for the service.

You're gonna have bibles
falling for

the clergy members
reaching for them.

Like, all of it
makes sense to me.

That was actually really freaky

because I look over
my right shoulder

and there is an office chair
that's just spinning.

As soon as I looked,
it's just...

I caught it on camera spinning,
but it just stopped.

It's just insane. It's insane.

When girls zero in
on things to manipulate,

they usually zero in on things

that had human activity
tied to them.

And we spend a lot of time
sitting at our tables,

at desks, at work,
at home, on the couch.

Chairs are a focus
of human activity.

It makes sense that that spirits
might be drawn there.

I don't know if it's just
something that I'm bringing out.

I think they might
feed off of fear.

And it seems to be when
I calm down,

everything else
sort of calms down.

I think the goal
is just to try and interact.

But I get so worked up that
I don't even get to that point.

and all chaos breaks out.

in his 30-minute challenge,

chris is told by police
to leave the property,

which is fine by him.

I'm kind of glad.

because this place is nuts.

I was highly relieved when
the cops showed up.

After I turned the cameras off,
that was it.

I got in the car
and got the heck out of there.

Although chris walked
away terrified that night,

it won't stop him from
ghost hunting in the future.

It's kind of like when
you're riding

that roller coaster and you say
you'll never get back on it,

and the next day,
you're right back on it.

There's just something
to be said about it.

It's an adrenaline rush.

twisting form,

if not a living organism,

a part of a biological organism.

that this was a

Amazingly, since then,
he has spotted

more than 40 of these objects
in the skies over mexico.

Because of
their elongated shape,

they've come to be known
as ufo worms

or ebanis, a spanish acronym

that means unidentified
anomalous biological entities.

And upon closer inspection,

it appeared as though
these worm-like objects

were dropping or releasing
a series of smaller objects,

what some refer to as sentinels.

All of which continued
to float in the sky.

if they're releasing something

for the purpose of either
nesting or procreation

or something environmental.

It could be a probe.

A shuttlecraft, if you will.

an explanation for these ufos

because in some woods, there are
mysterious creatures lurking,

just waiting for the opportunity
to make a move,

which is what happened
to three boys in indiana

during one misty afternoon
in the forest.

And unfortunately for them,

there was no one around
to hear them scream.

It's 2008 on a cold winter's day

in decatur, indiana.

and their friend zach

as they're playing on
some drainpipes in the woods

when mason spots something
strange in the distance.

What?

I'm not seeing it.

Where'd it go?

Where is it, though?

No way.

Hoping to get a closer look,

the boys do what most
curious kids would do.

They go searching for it.

It went into the woods?

Then suddenly...

...A large humanoid

bigfoot-type creature.

A person just wandering

would never have elicited
this kind of reaction

from normal kids.

You would certainly, if you saw
kids chasing after you,

you would certainly
turn your head

and want to know what's going on

if you were walking
through the woods.

But this thing,

it doesn't seem to want
to have anything to do with them

and is moving along at a
pretty good rate to get away.

With all these videos that have
a bigfoot-like creature in it,

they seem to be curious
about the observer

and sometimes even fearful
themselves as they take off.

Is it possible
the boys really saw a bigfoot?

And if so,

how wise was it to go after it

Every culture seems to have
their own version of sasquatch.

as humans,

were telling similar stories.

leaning over the counter

as a wine glass drops
from the overhead rack

and nearly hits her.

Then, that same month,

a third camera
in the dining room

captures what appears to be.

A ghostly figure
waving its arms.

Any one of these events
would raise an eyebrow.

All three together
seem to be conclusive proof.

The restaurant is haunted.

A lot of these buildings
are super old.

There's tons of people that come
in daily, all kinds of emotions,

from sadness to happiness,
anger, fighting.

So it's no surprise that some of
this energy seems to linger on.

the one that captured the
apparition in the dining room

is perhaps the best illustration
of whoever

or whatever that energy is.

This seems to be
a translucent object

that seems to have a form.

It's kind of hard
to figure out what that form is,

but it's also very difficult
to try to figure out

what it might be
if it isn't a ghost,

because you think about things
that might get

in the way of the camera lens,
a particle of dust.

It doesn't seem to be that.

Doesn't seem to be a reflection.

It seems to be scanning
the room almost.

It's not just an ambiguous
or circular orb shape.

It's fairly vertical. It moves
in the way a person would move.

It seems like
a definite human apparition.

And you combine the wine bottle
falling

and have a glass fly around.

There's a definite sense
of consistency in the way

that this particular
manifestation is happening.

Whatever this energy is doing,

it definitely seems to have
a sort of intelligence behind it

and it seems to want to frame
other people for these mishaps.

The owner believes
the entity could be

a disgruntled and now deceased
employee from the 90s

named pete, or as they refer
to him now, old pete.

And according to the staff,
old pete loved red wine.

If this was old pete
trying to get his nightly

bottle of wine,
it would make sense

that his spirit was capable
of knocking it off,

but not necessarily
maneuvering it

in a way that would make sense

with people
with thumbs and hands.

If the staff at
the carlisle castle hotel bar

wants to make peace
with old pete,

they may want to heed
some advice from the experts.

What management needs to do
in this case

is every morning, pour out
a nice glass of wine for pete.

He's obviously just looking
to get hammered again.

So give him a little wine

and I guarantee you
everything will be fine.

A natural disaster
such as a tornado,

a tidal wave,

or an earthquake

is an absolutely
terrifying experience.

If you're fortunate enough
to get a warning

before one strikes,
fear and panic

still set in as you wonder
what destruction awaits you

or if you will even survive.

Now, imagine experiencing
that catastrophic event

compounded
with a paranormal twist.

It may seem like

the entire world
is coming to an end.

new zealand residents

faced a few years ago...

In the moments after
a major earthquake.

Two minutes after midnight
on November 14, 2016,

a powerful
7.8 magnitude earthquake

hit the south island
of new zealand.

The epicenter was close
to the city of christchurch

and was so strong

that residents 120 miles away
in the capital of wellington

felt the ground
shake beneath them

and saw these incredible lights
in the sky.

who was so frightened
by what he was seeing,

he started praying.

Iman's first thought was that

a planet or star
had struck earth.

It has a definite
end-of-days vibe.

I think that on
that social level,

we're all really intrigued
by the idea

and frightened of the idea
that our planet

can turn on us at any moment

and we can go from
just having a normal afternoon

to an apocalyptic hellscape

that we're all left struggling
to live in.

Not too far away,
also in wellington,

a home security camera picked up
the sinister-looking sky

from another angle.

This clip comes from a woman
named grace gacumos-lim.

And across town,
a man named andrew taylor

also captured
the frightening phenomenon

from his home security camera.

It's certainly
a bizarre-looking phenomenon.

You know, it's hard to
figure out, too.

It's hard to wrap your head
around how the land moving

can have sort of
a light show effect on the sky.

But of course, the big question.

Are these lights
in the sky paranormal?

And if so,
what is their significance?

What's the order of causation?

Are the lights
causing the earthquakes

or are the earthquakes
causing the lights?

One of the I think
most common explanations

brings us back to that
intriguing idea of plasma

as a physical substance
that glows,

and as tectonic shifts
are happening in the ground

and our earth
is literally cracking apart,

what's being released
into the sky

to create this...

Or aliens.

It's always
our other possibility.

In fact, there have
been reports recently

that connects these kind
of lights

and earthquakes in general

with extraterrestrial
life forms.

There's a theory going
around that extraterrestrials

are arriving to earth
and causing these earthquakes

and subsequently
these earthquake lights.

My question is why?
What are they trying to obtain?

What are they doing?

Are they running tests or are
they collecting materials?

Why cause earthquakes?

If you think about it,
an earthquake emits

a ton of energy and that energy

is just dissipated
throughout the land in the air.

So maybe we're looking
at this thing the wrong way.

Maybe the aliens aren't coming
here to cause an earthquake,

but rather they're attracted
to the earthquake.

They show up prior
to the earthquake

and collect all the energy
that's dissipated

by all
the moving tectonic plates.

If you think about it,
if they could harness

even half of that energy,

the possibilities are endless.

Whether a beacon
for extraterrestrial beings,

a result of their presence,
or something else entirely,

one thing's for certain...

They amplify the fear

of an already-frightening
situation.

that has a lot of earthquakes,

so I have not seen any of these.

The idea behind moving
and controlling the elements

with your mind
is not a new idea at all.

We see it a lot in the bible.
Moses parts the sea.

Jesus walks on water and also
a lot of indigenous people.

You know, they do rain dances,
they do rituals and movements

in a way to control the weather,
to make it favorable to them.

I feel like there is
some parallel precedent

with this in martial arts.

You can control energy
and projects energy.

And if it's just a control
of your energy,

all you're really doing
is controlling yourself.

And we do that every day as
we move through our environment.

It might not be that far
of a leap

to extend that to say all right,

I can affect my environment
locally around me.

But of course,
the question needs to be asked.

If michael and others

can actually connect
with the wind and manipulate it,

are we in any danger?

The only thing
that makes it dangerous

is if you yourself have
a negative frame of mind.

If you're the type of person
who is greedy, angry, fearful,

just negative in general.

So it's more dangerous to you

than it is, say,
for the environment.

And you have to really exercise

this or practice it
for a very long time

in order to get good enough
to where it's dangerous

on any sort
of environmental level.

It's more like a sport
than anything else.

I've seen in a long time.

But that didn't make
it any easier to comprehend.

I'm standing out of my driveway.

And I'm looking
to the northwest.

And there is a ufo,
and it's been sitting there

for the last 10 minutes.

In may 2016, russell ladmore

from southeastern australia
went outside to smoke a cigaret.

He was standing in his driveway
when he noticed something

oval and bright in the sky.

So he grabbed a tripod
and his camera

with a telephoto lens
and started filming.

The object hung
perfectly still in the sky

for a considerable
amount of time,

as russell continued to film.

The shape of this ufo
is very peculiar.

It looks like almost like an egg
or an oval of some sort.

The light seems
to be shimmering.

It's unlike anything
I've ever seen.

That's freaky, man.

I mean, it looks like a blimp,
but I know it can't be.

It doesn't look biological.

It looks like
it's carrying something.

It looks like cargo.

It looks like
the cruise ship of ufos.

What is that
and what is it doing?

Wonder how many
other people are seeing it.

What I found interesting
about it

is just how long it remained
motionless.

It's not moving at all.

So often ufos are intriguing
because of how they move.

It's always fun to see one
that's intriguing

because it doesn't.

Was that a plane?

In videos like this,
it's always good to try

to get as much perspective
as possible.

Landmarks, geological features,
other things in the sky.

Like in this one,
we know how big our planes are,

so in comparison,
this thing seemed rather large

and it just was hovering there.

If I saw this ufo
and I was on that plane,

I would immediately order
a whiskey ginger

because I would think
that I'm about to die.

Russell was freaked
out for nearly 40 minutes.

Then whatever it was
suddenly did start to move...

Yeah, it's moving now.

...And slowly faded away.

When we see a light
in the sky that emits no sound

is operating seemingly
against known laws of physics

that generate light,
that disappear into nothingness,

it's hard to tell what it is and
it's hard to say what it's not

because it's beyond
what we currently understand.

Russell has yet to find out

what that bright light
in the sky was.

And just like thousands
of other ufo sightings,

it's a mystery that will
most likely never be solved

until they, the aliens that is,
decide to land.
