- Oh, I'm so excited to play!

We just have to wait for Shadow to finish his new routine.

[together] Wow.

- I'd hate to follow that.

The rink's all yours.

- All right.

Hockey time!

[gasps] Baby, we need a team name.

- You're right.

How about the Lobsters?

- Oh! The Lochness Lobsters!

- Yeah! Yeah!

Uh, the Super Lochness Lobsters!

[both gasp]

- The Mega Super Ultra Lochness Lobsters!

[grunting, trilling tongues]

- Goldie, any ideas for our team name?

- Hmm.

I've got it!

We shall be known as the Dazzling Diamond Dreamers.

- I love it!

Now, come on, everyfishy!

Let's play.

[laughter]

- Whoa! Whoo!

[together] Whoo! Whoo! Whoa!

- Whoa. Whoa.

Ahh!

[chuckles] Uh, goal?

- Are you OK, Vola?

- Uh, yeah.

[chuckles] I don't know what happened.

I must be on an extra-slippery patch of ice.

Whoa. Whoa!

- Why, Vola, you're jiggling like a jellyfish!

- When was the last time you skated?

- Mm, let me think.

It was-- never.

- Never?

- Yep. [chuckles]

This is my first time on the ice,

believe it or not. [chuckles]

- Le gasp. Not!

If you don't know how to skate,

how are you going to play hockey?

- I'm usually good at things right away,

like skatefish boarding, barnacle ball.

rocket science.

I thought I'd be good at this right away, too.

- [scoffs] You can't have an opening night

without a rehearsal.

You've got to practice if you want to improve.

- Huh.

OK, I'll just practice with you real quick,

and then I'll be amazing by the time we play Baby and William.

[together] Oh, uh...

- It might take a little longer than that.

- Fin-deed!

True finprovement happens day by day, little by little.

- What if I have an amazing teacher like you, Goldie?

- [laughs] Well, flattery will get you everywhere.

Very well. I graciously accept the role.

- Oh, we'll practice with you, too!

- Yeah, there's always room for finmprovement.

- Thanks, fishies.

[classical music]

- Uh, what are we doing at the opera house?

- There's no better place to learn poise than the theater.

Now, here, take some sponges.

- Ooh, squishy.

- Sponges?

- These slippery sponges will help you perfect your balance.

Observe.

[together] Ooh.

- [chuckling]

[claps] And begin.

- [gasping] Whoa.

Bring it in, William!

- [grunts] I'm a sh**ting starfish!

- Whoa! Ah! Ah!

So slippery!

Oh-oh!

Look, Goldie, I'm doing it!

Can we go to the ice now?

- Brava, Vola.

Uh, now try skating without holding on to the curtain.

[chuckles]

- [grunting] Whoa!

[sighs]

[upbeat music]

- OK, what's next?

Are we going to practice sh**ting goals?

- Uh, not yet.

First, you must learn to pass.

Sloppy, that's your cue!

- [panting]

- Sloppy here is the perfect passing partner.

Send him the ball, and he'll fetch it back to you posthaste.

- Go long, Sloppy!

[grunts]

- [panting]

- Well done, William!

Now your turn, Vola.

The trick is to use just the right amount of strength.

[claps]

- [panting]

- Strength? Got it!

Yah!

- Ooh, splish splash, my hat!

- My ice cream!

- One more strike and I'll have bowled the perfect game!

[dramatic music]

Aw!

[pins clattering]

Strike!

- Ha-ha, I might have used a little too much strength.

[bouncy music]

- That's it! Left, right.

You're doing it!

[all grunting]

- Aw, Goldie, what does sweeping have

to do with playing hockey?

- Sweeping will teach you how to handle a hockey stick.

Plus, my room has never looked better.

Trust me, your skills are fin-proving with each lesson

little by little.

- But isn't there a faster way to learn to play hockey?

I want to be an amazing player now!

- [sighs] If you fin-sist.

There is one coach who may be able to help you.

But he has a sharp tongue and an iron fin,

and his methods are ruthless.

- I'll do anything!

- Very well.

But don't say I didn't warn you.

[dramatic music]

- Attention!

[all gasp]

So you want to learn ice hockey, huh?

[together] Yes. Mm-hmm. Yeah.

- Well, it's not going to be easy.

And once we start, there's no turning back.

[slurps]

Any questions?

- Just one.

Where did you get that mustache?

- Good question.

- I was wondering the same thing.

- My mom got it for me.

Now, no more questions!

It's time to train montage-style.

[upbeat music]

Pfft, it took a lot of practice to get this good.

But I got better little by little.

- Little by little.

Yeah, just like Goldie said!

- Now, let's take what you've learned to the ice.

It's game time!

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah-yuh!

- It's go time!

- I'll be your referee.

I just need my referee mustache.

[upbeat music]

[whistle blows]

- [grunting]

- [grunts]

[grunts]

[buzzer blares] - Point!

- Whoo-hoo! - Nice!

[laughter]

- Aw.

[whistle blows]

- Chassé Pirouette!

Triple axel!

[buzzer blares] - Point!

- Cue applause.

- Nice, Goldie!

[whistle blows]

[both grunting]

- [grunting]

[buzzer blares] - Point!

- Yeah-yuh!

That's my best bud.

[whistle blows]

[all grunting]

- Coming at you, partner!

- [grunts] Got it!

- Oh. Sorry, Goldie.

[sighs] Little by little, I can do this.

- Whoa! Oh!

Whoops.

- Vola, I'm open.

- [exhales] Here goes!

[gasps]

Ha-ha! I did it!

I passed the puck! - Go, Vola!

- Great pass.

- [sniffles]

[whistle blows]

Game over!

Baby and William win.

- Oh, Vola.

I'm so sorry we lost.

- [laughs] Are you kidding?

I passed the puck, and I didn't fall.

[laughs]

- So, same time next week?

- You bet!

Just think how good I'm going to be

with a little more practice.

- Nicely done, Vola.

For all of your finprovements, I want you to have this.

- [gasps] My own mustache?

Jawsome!

[upbeat music]

- [grunts] Whew.

Hey, check it out!

My stepsister's fin-me-downs.

Maddie says we can keep whatever we want.

Cool shades. - Ooh.

- A hat!

- [gasps] You look so mature.

- What's this?

[high-pitched whistle]

Incredible!

- Tux, you have the coolest stepsister ever.

- Did somefishy say "coolest stepsister ever"?

[together] Maddie!

- Hey, thanks for letting us go through your fin-me-downs, sis.

- No problem, little bro.

I thought you fishies might find some treasures in there.

- Hey, what's with this notebook?

- [gasps] How did that get in there?

This is my diary.

It's where I write down my deepest, darkest,

most personal secrets.

It's where I bare my soul.

- Whoa.

- No fishy can read it but me.

So I better go put it back in my room for safekeeping.

Whew. That was a close one.

Now who's up for milkshakes?

- Whoo-hoo! - I am!

[high-pitched whistle]

[upbeat music]

[all slurping]

The most chill sis in the whole wide water.

- [laughs]

- Those are the teen-fishies.

They're so cool.

[rock music]

- Oh, hey, Mads. What's bubbling?

- Not much.

What's bubbling with you?

- I know what's bubbling.

[blows]

[laughter]

- Uh...right.

We're all hanging out before my shift, Mads.

I have an idea.

You fishies should hang with us at the coolest place

in Carnivore Cove-- The Wreck!

- [chuckles] Thanks, Chucks, but we're actually

a little too old for The Wreck.

- Like, shaa! We're teen-fishies.

We only do teen-fishy stuff.

Teen-fishies probably want to do teen-fishy stuff.

to hang out with me if I was more like those teen-fishies?

- Well, not exactly.

I gotta follow the teen-fishies and learn

their teen-fishy ways.

[suspenseful music]

Time to observe the teen-fishies

in their natural habitat.

- Chyah!

It's more like sssshyah! - Brah!

- Whoa.

Teen-fishies speak their own language.

[clears throat] That's bubblin', brah.

[giggles]

[rock music]

- Nice!

- Hmm.

Their coolness seems to depend on their ability

to lean on stuff, period.

- Check out this lean.

- Nice. But have you seen this lean?

- Hey, fishies.

Watch and lean.

[all cheering]

- Oh, that's a good lean!

- Finteresting.

It appears the teen-fishies like

to drape themselves in mismatched, colorful fabrics.

- Not that I care what you fishies think,

but what do you fishies think?

- Eh, I don't know, Neil.

- How about now?

[together] Now that's bubblin'!

- Whoa.

With a small adjustment, teen-fishy Neil

went from not bubblin' at all to totally bubblin'.

- Is it just me, or did that pile of clothes

just say something?

- [gasps]

[suspenseful music]

- Hmm.

[phone alarm buzzing]

- Ugh, my alarm.

I gotta head to The Puddle right now

or I'm going to be late.

- Oh, we'll swim over with you.

- Let's hit it.

- OK, Chucksaroonie, time to put what

you've learned to the test.

[upbeat music]

[laughter] - Hmm.

Hmm, hmm, hmm.

Can I have that one?

- No!

- Well, can I have it? - Well, no.

I'm at work, right?

If you want a prize, you have to trade in tickets.

both: Aww!

- Ahem!

[rock guitar riff]

What's bubblin', fellow teen-fishies?

Whoa! Oof.

Ugh.

- [sighs] Chucks, what are you doing?

- I'm trying to be bubblin' like you and your friends

so I can hang out with you.

- That's sweet, but I kind of need

some time with my own friends.

It doesn't make any sense.

I studied their every move.

I was so bubblin'!

Hmm.

But Maddie still wants to hang out alone with her friends.

[sighs] If only there was some way that I

could understand her better.

This is where she writes all her secrets.

Maybe I can find something in here that'll make

her want to hang out with me.

[giggles]

[gasps]

[squeals]

[knock at door]

- Hey, Chucksaroonie, I'm back!

Did you wanna--

[gasps]

Is that my diary?

- Huh? No, I mean, uh--

oh--

- I told you this was private.

Why would you read it?

- Maddie, I-- I can explain.

- I can't believe this.

- Whoa.

Everything all right in here?

- Uh, I sort of, kind of, borrowed Maddie's diary.

- Aw, Chucksasaurus, that wasn't very chill of you.

You've gotta respect your sister's boundaries.

- Boundaries?

- That means listening when she says

there's something she doesn't want you to do,

like read her diary.

- Oh. Right.

Uh, Dadderino, I think I need to apologize.

- Great idea, Chucks Deluxe.

- [sobbing]

[sighs]

- Uh, Maddie, uh, can we talk?

- [sighs] OK.

- I never should have gone into your room,

and I really shouldn't have taken your diary.

I'm super, super sorry!

- Then why did you do it?

- Um, uh, I, uh--

I just wanted to learn about you and your friends

so you'd want to hang out with me.

- Oh, Chucks.

Just because I hang out with my friends

sometimes doesn't mean I don't like hanging out with you.

- It doesn't?

- No.

Listen, I have friends of my own,

just like you have friends of your own, Baby and William.

- Huh.

I never though of it that way.
