- Ooh, this tea party is going to be so much fun.

- We've thought of everything.

Fancy teatime hats--

[gasps]

Oh, no, Hank! Not check.

I forgot my fancy teatime hat!

- Oh, don't worry, Baby.

Rocky and I can finish setting up

while you go grab it.

- [sighs] You're lifesavers.

I'll be back for teatime, I promise!

- Mmm.

What a peaceful day.

- Yarr!

- Huh?

[bouncy music]

Whoa!

Ahoy, Captain Bubblebeard

and pirate crew.

- Ahoy, little whale.

Have you seen a barnacle-bearded

sea scoundrel swimming these parts?

- Nope. [gasps]

Wait, Captain Bubblebeard,

where's your beard?

- Argh!

Me nemesis, Captain Barnacle Beard,

has stolen me beard of bubbles.

- Oh, no!

- Those bubbles were me everything--

me strength, me heartiness,

me whole pirate vibe.

If I don't get me beard back soon...

[sniffles]

I fear me swashbuckling days

will be over.

[sobbing]

[violin playing sadly]

- Don't worry, Captain.

I'll join your pirate crew and help track it down.

[laughter]

- Ye? A pirate?

But you're the cutiest little patootie in the seven seas.

- And ye don't even have a pirate name.

It's out of the question.

- Hey, I might not look like a pirate on the outside,

but I'm plenty pirate-y on the inside.

And I'll prove it--

as long as I'm back for teatime.

- Fine. Hop aboard.

But don't get any silly ideas about becoming a pirate.

- Yo-h*!

♪ ♪

- Now just keep your eyes peeled for--

bubbles!

Beard bubbles!

Follow that trail!

- Aye, the dreaded Coral Cavern.

- [gulps]

- Bubbles! Dead ahead!

But look what dangers lie in our path.

- Sea snakes!

[sea snakes hissing]

- Booby traps!

[menacing music]

- [shudders]

If we're going to make it to the other side,

we'll need a plan.

- Aye-aye! A pirate plan!

- [gulps]

But am I even a pirate anymore without me beard?

- Listen up.

It won't be easy, and it won't be fun,

but the three of us will use our pirate-y ways to--

- You're welcome.

all: Huh?

[sea snakes hissing happily]

- I gave the sea snakes sea snacks.

They said we could skip the booby traps

if we go through here.

[all straining]

- Shiver me timbers, it worked!

- [gasps] And look!

More bubbles.

- Me beard must be heading thataway.

I'm coming for you, bubbles!

[gasps] Mariana's trench.

- Mariana be the most fearsome shark in the ocean.

If she spots us crossing her trench,

we're done for!

- We best be super sneaky,

brave, and most importantly,

pirate-y.

- [gulps]

Then maybe I should stay here in the back.

[deep rumbling]

- Who dare disturb Mariana?

Rarr!

- [clears throat]

Excuse me, Miss Mariana.

My name is Hank.

And this is Bubblebeard, Bucky--

ooh, and First Mate.

- [roars]

[all whimpering] - Watch out, Hank!

- Well, we were hoping we could cross your trench.

Could you please give us a fin?

- [roars] Oh, my.

What great manners you have.

Why, yes, of course.

- All aboard, me mateys!

- Huh. Not too shabby for a cute little whale.

[adventurous music]

- Good luck on your quest, pirates.

all: Thank you!

- Bubbles h*!

♪ ♪

Now we simply follow the trail and--

ah!

- We're big,

we're scary,

and we're not going to let you pass!

- We're surrounded.

Quick! Look pirate-y.

- Gah! It's no use.

I'm no pirate without me beard.

- You're toast.

And there's nothing you can say to change our minds.

- Oh, yeah?

Well, maybe there's something we can sing.

all: Huh?

[sea shanty music]

- ♪ There once was a pirate named Hank who ♪

♪ Could take sea snakes with a sweet tooth ♪

♪ A certified cutie, well, this pirate's booty ♪

Have you seen a pirate named Barnacle Beard?

- A mean-looking sea lion

about yay high?

He was just here.

Said he was headed that way.

- Thank you, monsters.

[exciting music]

♪ ♪

[dramatic musical sting]

- Bubblebeard.

- Barnicle Beard.

- First Mate.

- Second Mate.

- Bucky.

- Becky.

- And I'm Hank!

- So ye finally found me, ey?

Maybe we should settle this rivalry once and for all

with a super tough pirate-off.

Winner takes beard.

- A pirate-off without me beard?

Ah, seems impossible.

[sighs] But I've no choice.

- Then let the super tough pirate-off begin.

- Round one:

stink eye contest!

[both straining]

- Ah!

- Bubblebeard wins!

Time for round two:

fin wrestling.

[both straining]

- Yar! Ha ha!

- Oh, no!

- Barnacle beard wins round two!

Now for the toughest battle of them all:

seeing who can watch a super sad movie

longer without crying.

- [sniffling]

Never let go, Jack.

[sobbing]

- Tears h*!

Barnacle Beard loses!

- [sobbing]

Yar, I could hardly hold them back.

- Captain Bubblebeard, you won!

- Huzzah! - Yay, Cap'n!

- Well, I have to admit, ye bested me.

Here's your bubbles back.

- Me beard!

- Yar!

Psych! [laughs evilly]

- No!

[laughter]

- Pop, pop, pop!

- I best kiss me pirating days goodbye.

- Uh-uh. No way.

- Huh?

- Did you see yourself in that pirate-off?

You were amazing!

And you didn't even have your bubbles.

- That's right!

- Ye were as pirate-y as could be!

- Being a pirate isn't about what's on your face.

It's about what's in your heart.

- Ah, I see it now.

It don't be the beard that makes the pirate.

'Tis the treasure that lies within.

If the cutest little patootie

in the seven seas can be a pirate,

then so can I.

- [gasps]

You mean...

- Aye! From henceforth,

you'll be known as the Cutie Pirate.

- [gasps] A pirate name?

Oh-hoh-hoh, thank you.

But I need to get going.

It's almost teatime.

- Shiver me timbers! I nearly forgot!

Goodbye, Cutie Pirate.

You're welcome aboard our crew anytime.

all: Hear, hear!

- Now let's set sail!

This clean-shaven pirate has some treasure to hunt!

- Bye, friends.

- Hi, Hank. Thanks for waiting.

Hope you weren't too bored while I was gone.

- Oh, not too bored at all.

Yar!

[upbeat music]

- And done. [sighs]

Got everything you need for your trip

to the Chomp City Reporter Convention, Mom?

- ♪ Got my suitcase ♪

And the newest member of my news team,

Chumby!

- [oinking]

- And are you excited about spending

the weekend at Baby's house?

- Yeah.

This is going to be the best sleepover ever.

Only, I'm a little nervous

about being away from home for so long.

- Aww. I know, bubba.

But just think about all the fun you and Baby will have.

- That's true.

Two whole days of Baby and William jawesomeness.

- This is going to be the best super long sleepover ever.

I have it all planned out.

I even made us cozy sleep caps.

[musical flourish]

This color brings out the twinkle in his eyes.

- [chuckles]

You know, William's never slept over this long before.

- We should all make an effort to make him feel at home.

- Hmm. You're right.

I never thought about that.

I think I know just what to do to make him feel welcome.

- [strains]

[doorbell rings]

both: Wow.

- [fancy voice] Welcome to Hotel Shark.

- [inhales deeply, plays note]

all: ♪ We're so happy you're our guest ♪

♪ Keeping you happy is our quest ♪

- ♪ Now just to make it clear ♪

all: ♪ We're so happy you're here ♪

both: High-fin for fin-ship!

[laughter]

- OK, William, I have to go

or I'll miss the mic drop seminar.

- I'll miss you, Mom.

- I'll be home before you know it.

And when I get back, we can have a breakfast party.

- [gasps] With bubbleberry waffles?

- [giggles] You bet.

- [sighs]

- [fancy voice] A-hoo! Let's get you checked in

to Hotel Shark, William. [chuckles]

- [laughs] All right.

- Mr. Manta, you'll be in our Baby Shark suite.

It's our finest room.

- Really? Why?

- Because it has a view of...me!

[laughs]

- Our bellhop will assist you.

[bell dings]

- At your service, sir.

[straining]

What's in this bag?

- Eh, just basic sleepover stuff--

clothes, toys--

oh, and my rock collection.

- And may I offer you a complimentary chum-yum?

- It's complimentary?

Like, it'll say nice things to me?

[laughter] - Oh, William.

- Ready for the best super long sleepover ever?

- Ready!

- I planned an epic tea party.

See?

- Cool!

- Can we hurry this up?

This hat's a bit snug.

- The hotel restaurant is open for dinner.

- Can we have pizza?

- One cheese pie coming up.

[timer dings]

Chow, my little fishies.

[laughter]

both: Jawesome!

[laughter]

- It's bedtime, squiddos.

- Ooh, do you fishies sing the Sleepy Deepy Shuffle

before going to sleep too?

- What's the Sleepy Deepy Shuffle?

- It's a fun bedtime song.

My mom and I sing it every night.

Not to brag, but... [exhales]

It's really, really good.

- Cool.

We don't sing, but we read a super fun bedtime story.

Mommy and Daddy even do silly voices.

- Sounds great.

Let's do it.

- This one's about a bull shark in a China shop.

Let the wackiness begin.

[harp flourish]

[alarm rings]

[yawns]

Good morning!

- [groans sleepily] Mom.

Can I sleep for a little longer?

- [giggles]

William, I'm not your mom,

though I have been told I'm very nurturing.

- Mm.

Oh, yeah.

I forgot my mom isn't here.

- Nope. But your best bud is.

So...yar!

Ye want to play pirates with me, hearty?

- Mm, not really.

- Oh, oh, I know!

Want to build a mega pillow fort?

Or go bubble surfing?

Or--or we-- - Maybe later, Baby.

I just don't feel like playing right now.

[curious music]

- Hmm. Did you see that, Manny T?

William and I had so much fun yesterday.

But today, he doesn't want to play.

Something's wrong with William, and I need to find out what.

This sounds like a case for...

Detective Baby Shark.

[curious music]

- [humming]

He's looking for something.

Hypothesis: maybe William forgot

his favorite stuffed animal.

- [sighs]

Hi, Chirps.

- Huh, he doesn't want to play with Chirps either.

Something else must be wrong.

Better keep investigating.

Perhaps the subject doesn't want to play with me

because he has a tummy ache?

- What can I get you, darling?

- Well, my mom always makes bubbleberry waffles

on the weekends.

- You got it.

Couple of Chomp City checkerboards

with bubbleberries coming up.

- William wouldn't be hungry for bubbleberry waffles

if he had a tummy ache,

so I guess that's not it either.

[sullen music]

William isn't sick. And he's got his favorite toy.

That means the reason he doesn't want to play is...

me.

William doesn't want to play with me anymore.

[whimpers]

Case closed.

[sighs]

Hey, Grandpa.

Give me the usual.

- One glass of algae milk coming up.

Say, what's with the long face, partner?

- Well, William and I had so much fun yesterday.

But today, he doesn't want to play with me at all.

- Hmm. Well, maybe he's homesick.

- Homesick? [gasps]

Is that contagious?

- [laughs] No.

It means he feels a little sad because he misses home.

- He did say he's never been away from home for this long.

- Exactly.

Maybe you should try talking to him.

- Okay. I will.

Thanks, Grandpa.

[soft music]

- [groans softly]

- He's looking at a picture of him and his mom.

[gasps]

He is homesick.

- [sniffles]

- Hey, William.

- Oh, hi, Baby.

Sorry I'm no fun right now.

I guess I'm just a little...

- Homesick?

- Yeah.

- Aw. Well, that sounds really hard.

- I've just never been away from home this long.

- It's bedtime, squiddos!

- Who wants to pick a book to read?

- [gasps] Wait!

Instead of reading a book,

could we do something that reminds William of home?

- Huh?

- Oh, that's a great idea, Baby.

- William, will you sing us the Sleepy Deepy Shuffle?

- Really? - Yeah.

You sing it with your mom every night, right?

- Oh, I couldn't possibly.

- Oh! [giggles]

Oh, bubba, I missed you so much.

He even wanted me to show him the Sleepy Deepy Shuffle!

- Aww. That was very nice of Baby.

- Best super long sleepover ever.
