Um, I think the marathon's on now, so...
JOSE:Yeah?
I'm registering... I'm putting my money in tomorrow.
I'm running a marathon in two days.
A marathon is . miles.
It's West Palm, huh? Yeah.
It's probably one of the most arduous athletic endeavors
for an athlete to partake.
Are you ready for that?
I will be.
[gulls cawing]
Because of Hurricane Wilma, it's been really difficult

Most people train six months to a year

I need that challenge.
I need to test myself.
And I think this is a perfect way of doing so.

Don't go... No, I learned that in Boston--

I ran in the Boston Marathon in April.
I can't even describe how painful running a marathon is.
You know, the first hour and a half is going to be fine.
Yeah, it's the second half.
You run and then you're like, I've got more miles to run.
Doctors don't allow people to do more than two marathons a year
because it's so destructive for your bones and your muscles.
But the sense of accomplishment during and afterwards
is beyond compare.
My only concern about the race is dehydration.
Drink water every stop.
I think you'll be okay.
It's just... You just got to suck it up and do it.

I want to see Jose.
I've tried from time to time to sort of just like ask you

It's difficult because everybody in the house
