I want to keep the severity

Of the hairdo.

It's all about the sound waves.

Really polished, sleek look.

I'm gonna go in with the dry

Oil.

It's gonna give this amazing,

I mean, it's definitely the
"wow" factor.

Yesterday we did the braids,

And it got mixed reviews.

I like the idea of having the

Hair back, because some pieces

Have high collars.

I would like to see the hair

Go in a different direction.

Lots of texture, so I'm gonna

Use elnett to put this in place.

I was thinking of big, messy

Buns, do-it-yourself look.

I want to create this stiff,

Matte texture on the ends,

Gather it in kind of a low bun.

Little bit more diversity in the

Fabric as the show went on.

Justin, I'm very happy that

Collection was very polished.

I loved when you explained to us

That when you started hearing,

You loved the sound of rain, and

That's why you made the

Unconventional-material dress,

Because it has that sound that

You love so much.

It did look spectacular on the

Inspiration and your collection.

When I was a kid, I would

Watch the crocus flower come

Through a snowbank.

I thought that was just an

Amazing image, the juxtaposition

Of something so delicate against

What's frozen and hard.

I loved your inspiration with

The crocus.

I feel like the first look that

Came out--if the skirt had been

A white, you would have gotten

That sensation of that pop of

Color out of the snow, and it

Would have appreciated all the

Handwork that you put into each

Piece.

I actually liked the first

Look.

You know, it is gutsy to have

That shiny material and then put

The white around it.

I thought it was different.

Throughout the season, I have
admired, out of all the

Designers, your incredible
laser-focus, that, for me, it

Was a big surprise to see you be

So not focused on this.

Hmm.

When I see this collection,

It's disjointed.

We've got too many
things going on.

Mm-hmm.

You have ten outfits to
tell a story.

Right.

And it should be very
cohesive.

Dom, tell us about your

Inspiration and your collection.

It's basically the idea of

The future as it was viewed by

Artists and writers, pre-1960s.

It has this very, like, retro,

Judy jetson feel to it.

So I designed all the prints in

My collection based on that

Idea.

Well, I thought this was an

Extremely entertaining show.

Without any words, you told the

Story.

That's a good show.

I'm very impressed that you

Do the prints yourself.

They're modern but kind of

Tribal but also architectural.

They're very unique.

The theme you picked is

Challenging, and I think, for

The most part, you very

Successfully pulled it off.

My one weak outfit of the show

Was the bathing-suit look.

I wasn't wild about the fit of

It or the piece on top.

I mean, bathing suits in a

-Fashion show...
-Yes.

Are usually for the straight
dudes, you know?

Let's--it was fun, and I think

It's a nice teaser.

Alexandria, tell us about

Your inspiration and your

Collection.

I titled my collection

"Neo-nomadic punk."

I had such a vision as to what

I wanted to present--

This strong, warrior-like girl.

I chose very expensive fabrics,

And I strive really hard to

Create an excellent fit.

Alexandria, I really liked
your collection.

It looks very young.

It looks very hip.
It looks very now.

I thought it was a really

Successful runway show.

Your woman has that spice and

Attitude that you have and

That, uh, strength, but she's

Also vulnerable, and I think

That's a really nice niche

Juxtaposition that you're

Playing with.

I thought it was styled

Very well.

I thought it looked very

Editorial.

I love the spirit that you have.

I really loved the

Collection.

I like that it's a lot of

Separates, that I felt like,

"Oh, I could mix and match tons

Of different pieces from one

Look to another."
