[male narrator] Previously on "The Real World.."

[Dominic] I didn't know who I was gonna meet.

I'm Dominic.

- Pleased to meet you, Tami. - Nice to meet you.

We're driving across country, that's something

I never thought I would do.

What's up!

[Dominic] Jon being the third party

was a little shocked.

He opened the door going

"Yee-ha, come on in!"

I could kinda tell they weren't expecting

a black girl to walk through the door.

I mean, I got a lot of double takes.

If my son got in a motorhome

with two people like y'all and drove off--

[laughing]

I might be crying, too.

[Dominic] This is the true story.

♪ True story ♪♪

[Tami] Of seven strangers.

[Jon] Picked to live in a house.

[Beth] And have their lives taped.

[Aaron] To find out what happens..

[Irene] When people stop being polite..

[David] And start getting real.

[male narrator] "The Real World," California.

[instrumental music]

They ordered an appetizer plate

and it came with, like, rattle snake, uh, meat ba*ls.

I mean, it came with everything.

I don't know, it tastes awfully good to me, whatever it is.

They kinda stuck with the oysters.

They just kept eating the oysters

'cause they thought they were oysters.

- So, how's your meal? - This is so good.

Did you try our delicious cow fries there?

Cow fries?

He told us they were oysters.

I said they didn't taste like oysters at all.

They were deep-fried something.

- Brains? - No, oh, no.

[Dominic] 'No, the other end.'

'Try the sauces. Go with the sauce.'

[Tami] 'Try the sauce.'

'Chew it!'

- 'Pretty good, huh?' - What is it?

[Dominic] And then Mel explained to him

they were bull's ba*ls.

They chop the ba*ls off bulls

and they deep-fried 'em.

Eww!

[Tami laughing]

Are you kiddin' me?

[cows mooing]

[instrumental music]

[Tami] Dominic went out the night before the ski trip

and, uh, he met this guy..

Yeah, one thing led to another, I bought him a beer.

[Jon] Ted his friend knows the people that own the ski place

and skiing sounded fun

so I said, "Sure," you know, "No problem."

Ahh!

[Tami] Dominic went out drinking again

and he met two girls and

decided that they should take us to Sedona.

I guess I had a couple of c*ck

and it sounded like a real good idea.

But it could be really cool if you just came to Vegas with us.

She probably thought I was some kind of pervert in a bar

with funny hair.

[female #] 'Off, how about that?'

[instrumental music]

So, I didn't wake up until :.

Tami woke me up for breakfast.

She called the room, I went down.

I'd actually kinda forgotten about it

and then all of a sudden it hit my head

I've got to tell them.

On the way to Vegas there's this place call Sedona

which is a very spiritual place.

'Very famous.'

Sedona's a place we had not planned on stopping

or planned on going to.

So, it was, it was kind of out of the way

and, and a big surprise to me.

I mean, I personally..

...am not feeling this whole Sedona thing

but if the majority rules--

No, no, no.

The difference between, the difference between

the skiing thing was you woke up, you said

"Do you wanna to go skiing

'cause I will call the person and confirm it."

Well, you checked with us first.

You see last night you said, "Let's go to Sedona!"

[Jon] Well, she just didn't like the fact that

if he's doing this on the road trip

I think her main point is

what's he going to do when we move into the loft?

Is he going to bring in every stray he meets and, you know..

"Hey, this is our new roommate."

[dog barking]

[Dominic] Sinea and her friend showed up and they were like

"Oh, I thought we were going to Sedona."

- My roommates nixed Sedona. - Nah-uh.

- They won't go. - Why?

I don't know, they just want to go straight to Vegas

'and they were kinda pissed at me.'

They're coming out right now, let me get 'em.

So, I'm apologizing to everyone, I-I actually felt bad

I didn't need to piss off two people

I'm going to be living with for six months.

- See you later. - Okay.

[female #] 'Bye.'

Tami just remarked in

rather colorful language

you know, some good descriptive words

that I better not do this kind of thing when we get to Venice.

[Tami] 'I don't want to see you bringing'

'every damn stray person you meet at a bar'

'back to that loft.'

[Dominic] 'Okay, no problem.'

You know, I got a bit of a tongue lashing over it

and I apologized

but, no, I was, I, I really felt bad myself

because I'd screwed up.

[guitar music]

I-I don't know, you know, hey, if they come out

to bars with me and maybe I wouldn't talk to

strangers and say the [bleep].

"Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone."

It's said in the Bible.

You don't believe in the Bible.

[Dominic] 'I never said that.'

You do believe in the Bible?

I never said that either, but I do believe in the Bible.

[Jon] 'You believe in all of it?'

I didn't say all of it

I mean, that's.. He's putting words in my mouth now, Tami.

- You're Muslim? - Yeah.

Are you serious?

We're just three different personalities.

I mean, Tami's a Muslim.

So, what is that exactly? I'm not, I'm not familiar with that.

Jon is white, real, real white.

I would consider the Muslim religion

to be more like a philosophy.

I don't think we could be more different

unless I had antlers sticking out of my head or something.

[Tami] I was brought up as a Muslim.

Jon thinks that is... a terrible religion.

That Jesus is the only God.

[Jon] I'm a country boy from Kentucky

I just asked you a simple question, what movie it was.

I don't know, uh, all of a sudden, Jon's a bigot.

I don't know where that came from at all.

You know, she's very moody

and I think that she just can't help herself

but, I mean, if this is gonna continue

I'm basically fed up..

I'm moving into a new place for six months and

Jon, you know, someone told us that Goldie is starting up

Actually, she mentioned something about it.

- I find it pretty funny. - You should.

Just 'cause you have a couple of fans out of Owensboro

who've been coming to see you two weeks

every two weeks for the past two years

doesn't mean anything as far as the rest of world is concerned.

'That boring little hick town.'

Oh, you're just mad 'cause we don't allow

trash like you in our town. You just keep your butt..

They have trash like you there.

I laughed it off 'cause, it did bother me at first

and then as I thought about it, at first I was very sad

that he would say something like that to me

and then I was angry.

And as far as your trash comment

you'd have felt pretty funny

if I'd have socked your a*s in the head.

If you're brave enough to do it

then you're brave enough to get hit right back.

'I mean, it just really bothers me that--'

Who cares, Jon, you don't call somebody trash.

- I didn't call you trash. - Yes, you did!

I've dealt with Jon and his attitude

for the past ten days.

I'm going to be a country singer one day

whether you like it or not

I wish you luck.

[Jon imitating Tami] 'So I hear Goldie's got a fan club for ya.'

[Tami] I didn't say anything about the fan club.

So what the hell are you talking about?

I didn't bring up the fan club.

[Tami] If Dominic instigated the conversation

Dominic did not make Jon call me trash.

And that's the thing that I'm pissed off about.

That is the most degrading thing

anyone could call...anyone else.

That, I mean, people think things subconsciously

and it's by accident that they say them.

So, that's probably what he's been thinking the entire trip.

Can you stop for a minute?

[instrumental music]
