- Hurry up!

We mustn't be late.

- There's plenty of time, Zou.

The pantomime doesn't start
for another half hour.

- But I only see one pantomime a year,

and Zebras in the Wood will be brilliant!

I want to make sure we get there on time.

Why is everybody leaving?

- Oh, something's up.

- Hello Zak.

Are you seeing the pantomime, too?

- Nobody's going to see it.

- What?

- The Drama Society has
canceled the performance.

The leading man tripped
over a pretend tree trunk

and hurt his hoof.

There's nobody to replace him.

I suppose there's always next year.

- Morning Zou.

- Hi Elzee.

- Do you want to play a game
of knights and princesses?

- No thanks, Elzee.

- What's the matter?

- We were going to see the pantomime,

but it was canceled.

Now I'll have to wait a whole
year to see the next one.

- I wish I could've seen it too.

I like the funny pantomime horse.

- He's my favorite.

- And the people on stage always look

like they're having so much fun.

- You're right.

They do have fun.

That's what I can do,

put on my own pantomime
right here, right now.

Mom, Dad!

I've got a brilliant idea!

- Glad to see that you got
over your disappointment, Zou.

- That's because I'm going to put

on a pantomime for everyone.

- Wonderful, Bizou.

What story are you going to tell?

- I'm going to make one up all by myself.

- Zou, what's your pantomime about?

- Well, I think it will
be about a lonely princess

who runs away from her naughty sisters

to look for a handsome prince.

I'm going to call it Princess Cinders.

- [Both] Huh?

- I think everyone will want
to see a pantomime, Zou.

- Now, all I have to
do is write the story,

make the scenery, and put on the show.

Hmm, this can be the
scenery for the castle.

And this can be the forest.

What do you think, Poc?

You're right, it's too small.

The scenery needs to be big.

I'll have to think about this later.

I need to find costumes.

[gasps]

These can be for the handsome prince,

but what about the
costume for the princess?

And who is going to play the princess?

You could do it, Poc.

Please Poc.

You can play the princess.

I'll be the prince.

But then, who will be the naughty sisters?

No, Poc, I need real
actors, not teddy bears.

There's so much to sort out.

Maybe putting on a
pantomime was a bad idea.

Hmm, if I can't do the pantomime,

I better take all the posters down.

- You're brilliant, Zou.

- I am?

- Oh yes, for putting on
a pantomime for everybody.

We can't wait to see it.

See you there.

- Oh no, what am I going to do?

- Bizou, we didn't realize
that your pantomime

is going to take place in the garden.

- Mm-hm.

- Or that when you said
it was for everyone,

you meant the whole street.

- It's all going wrong.

I can't do a pantomime all on my own,

but now Mr. Zoey and Zak are
really looking forward to it.

And I can't let them down.

- So, what are you going to do?

- I need scenery and costumes and actors.

Maybe if I had some help.

[chuckles]

Please.

- All right, but we're going
to need the whole family's help

to stage this major production.

[laughs]

- How naughty are the naughty
sisters suppose to be?

- Very naughty.

- Do the naughty sisters have
magic powers as well, Zou?

- Yes, Nana, they do have magic powers.

- Oh, that will do it.

[laughing]

- That gives me another idea.

- Of course I'll be your narrator, Zou.

It's a very important part.

- I can be the princess?

Oh, thank you, Zou!

[laughing]

[humming]

- Wow, Dad, that's brilliant scenery.

- Glad you like it, Zou.

And how about this?

An enchanted forest.

And a dark spooky cave.

- Thank you, Dad.

They're great.

And I hadn't thought about a cave,

but it gives me an idea for my story.

- I'm Princess Cinders,

the prettiest and the
bravest princess in the land.

Even dragons are too scared to fight me.

- I suppose the princess
can be as brave as a prince.

That gives me another idea
to make my story even better.

Now, I think everything
will be fine now, Poc.

We've got scenery, the
naughty sisters, the princess.

Oh no, how could I forget?

The pantomime horse!

- Ah Zou, I've almost learned my lines.

- Grandpa, I forgot
about the pantomime horse

and I don't know how to make one.

- Calm down, Zou.

There's always a solution to a problem.

Maybe you can think of a way

to fit the horse into your story.

- That's it, Poc, all done.

There will be a pantomime horse after all.

[Poc tweets]

- Once upon a time,

there was a lonely princess who lived

with two naughty sisters.

- Oh, I so wish to find a handsome prince.

- [Crowd] Boo!

- There are no princes in the land

because we've magiced them all away.

- You, Princess Cinders, must
stay here with us forever.

[laughing]

- [Crowd] Boo!

- Will I never find a handsome prince?

[bird tweeting]

What's that noise?

- [Crowd] It's behind you!

- Huh?

There's nothing there.

- [Crowd] It's behind you!

- [gasps] A feathered fairy!

It wants me to follow him.

Shall I?

- [Crowd] Yes, follow him!

- A dark cave, is there someone in there?

- [Crowd] It's behind you!

[laughing]

- It's a horse.

Are you lost, Mr. Horse?

Come on, I'll show you the way out.

Here we are.

I'm so glad I found you, Mr. Horse.

You may not be a handsome prince,

but I think you can be my friend.

[gasps] A handsome prince!

- I am Prince Charmed.

And the naughty sisters turned me

into a horse long, long ago,

but she has broke the
magic spell with a kiss.

- And that is how Princess
Cinders found her handsome prince

and lived happily ever after.

The end.

[cheering]

- Wow.

- I think it went well.

- And being in a pantomime
has been even more fun

than watching one.

- That was brilliant, Zou!

The best pantomime I've ever seen.

Thank you.

- Maybe I should put on
a pantomime every year.

- Oh yes!

So long as we can be
the stars of the show.

- You can call it The
Naughty Sisters Ride Again.

- Great idea.

- Well, they do say
pantomimes are for all ages.

You throw a ball in the air like this.

you throw another ball.

You have a go.

you have to put in a lot of practice.

- Well, if I can't juggle,
what can I do in the circus?

- How about a bit of hula hooping?

It's easy peasy.

- Now that doesn't look
as hard as juggling.

I think I can do this.

It's not easy as it looks.

- Shake your hips like this.

Round and round and round.

something you can do.

Hey, how about tightrope walking?

- Tightrope walking?

- Well, you wouldn't
start on the wishing line,

you'd have to have some practice first.

And I know just how to get you started.

Grandpa, can I borrow a bamboo cane

so Zak can practice tightrope walking?

- Tightrope walking, eh?

Serious stuff.

Well, all right then.

- Now put your arms
out to help you balance

and walk along that.

[grunting]

- Hmm, maybe you weren't meant
to be a tightrope walker.

- Poc is, look at him go.

I'm a rubbish tightrope walker.

- Poc's a bird, Zak.

All birds can do that.
