Grizzle thinks he's somewhere in care-a-lot.

- He seems pretty upset.

If we lost something important to us.

- The screwiest day care-a-lot's ever seen?

They could be up to anything.

- We need more evidence and clues.

- No, we need a reason why someone would take mr. Beaks.

If we can figure out why mr. Beaks was taken,

That might tell us who took him.

- You can't do that without more evidence and clues.

- Bah! I think the two of you are stalling

And covering up for the real thief.

- That's a very serious thing to say, mr. Grizzle.

- Do you have any evidence?

- Raah! I'm not wasting any more time with you.

I'll find mr. Beaks my way.

[Growls]

- This detective work is harder than I thought.

- We couldn't figure out what happened to mr. Beaks.

In playing detective than in actually helping grizzle.

We got too wrapped up in our detective work.

- Well, you were so upset at losing your friend

That I built you a new mr. Beaks.

The real mr. Beaks has a gravy stain on his left wing.

- Well, I guess we could add a stain.

- And this bolt is-- it's too big.

This is just a bad copy. Whahh.

To keep me from finding the real mr. Beaks.

- No. Grumpy was just trying to help.

- And he worked really hard on it, too.

- Well, now that we all have our own mr. Beaks,

I can see why grizzle missed him so much.

- Yeah, it lets us know how he felt and sort of puts us in grizzle's place.

- And that's a very strange place.

Oopsy said a mouthful?

- [Laughing]

This place is really lonely when you're not here.

But now you're home.

But if you're the real mr. Beaks, then who's that?

Obviously that mr. Beaks is an imposter.

When I'm awake like I have when I'm asleep.

Well, it's getting late.

I better go make the bedtime bed checks.

A touch of goodnight'll help that.

- Hmm. No one seems to be sleeping well tonight.

I'd better visit dreamland and see what's going on.

I fall asleep and count to 3.

[Yawns]

- [Frustrated muttering]

- What are you working on, grumpy?

- Oh, I'm trying to fix my fix-it-machine,

But it won't stay fixed.

[Groans]

- Um, bedtime, I'd like to share a lollipop with you.

- Why, thank you, share.

- But for some reason, I can't.

See? I can't share, no matter how hard I try.

- [Laughing]

- Pass it to me!

- No! Over here!

- Aw, not again. This is no fun.

- Hmm, grumpy can't fix anything,

Share can't share, and funshine has lost his fun.

Once everyone's awake,

I'll help my friends find ways to manage their dreams.

[Care bears yawning]

- These are not just frustrating dreams.

They're frustration dreams.

- Even though you feel frustrated,

Everything will be fine when you wake up.

- [Snorts]

It was supposed to control the care bear's dreams,

Oh. The dream scheme machine is set on low?

[Chuckles] then we'll just crank this baby up to high

And give those sleeping fur ba*ls something to really dream about.

- [Yawns]

Hmm, this is strange.

Where is everyone?

- [Snoring]

- It's awake time, and I'm the only one awake.

I better find out what's going on.

I fall asleep and count to 3.

[Gasps]

Grizzleland?

What's goin' on?

- Bedtime?

- Hey, guys. What happened to dreamland?

- Uh, grizzle is using some kind of slumber-bumble bad dream machine.

- He's taken over dreamland.

[Thunder] - [gasps] oh, no.

- The only way to save the day--uh, night

Is for you to wake up, go to grizzle's lair, and destroy the machine.

- I--i--i don't know.

- You're the only care bear who can travel in and out of dreamland.

- I--i know, but...

- You can be our knight in shining armor.

- Ok, I'll do it,

But first I need to wake up.

Wha? I'm still asleep.

Grizzle's machine must be blocking my belly badge.

- We'll help you.

- [Gasps]

If my friends think I can be a knight in shining armor, then I will.

And now it's bedtime for grizzle.

[Gulps]

Uh, maybe this isn't such a good idea.

[Grunts]

The dream scheme machine is working perfectly now.

- I'm gonna have to ask you to shut that off.

What are you supposed to be, peter pots 'n' pans?

- I am a knight!

- Heh. Yeah, right.

- I'm the one care bear who can control sleep and dreams,

And now you're goin' down for a nap.

- [Chuckles] your belly badge won't work here.

I've got an anti-belly-badge shielding device.

- A shielding device?

You think you're a knight?
