to register for tonight's
Gotham Dog Show.

Yo, the Gotham Dog Show
is today?

Oh, I've always wanted to go.

That's right. It's your
last chance to enter

and compete against
these proper pooches

for the snazzy
"Best in Show" prize.

about that last owner.

at a dog show?

Which is why I'll enter Ace
in the dog show.

Show dogs are more graceful,
calm and patient.

Ace is more of an action dog.

He always keeps trying
until he gets it right.

Okay, so there's three events
in the dog show.

Athletics, Inspection
and Tricks.

We'll go over each.

We'll start off with Athletics.

First, you jump through
some tires,

then you weave through
some poles,

then you jump
over two high bars

and then you go up
and down a huge ramp

and the prize is yours.

-[barks]
-Ready...

set...

-go!
-[barks]

Ace, you're supposed
to run through the course,

not around it.

[barks]

Let's try out
the Inspection event.

MOE will pretend
to be the judge

and I'll pose with you.

First we lift
our head up high.

[Moe] Hm.

Then we tilt
to show off our ears.

[Moe] Hm.

[laughs]

Whoa! I'm okay.

We'll work on that.

Maybe the Tricks event
will go better.

Okay, let's try fetch. Whoa!

You have to wait for me
to throw it, Ace.

[barks, growls]

Do you think he can figure out

how to be a show dog
in time for the show?

He just needs practice.

They haven't done
anything wrong... yet.

But with both of us watching,

with anything.

The dog show
is pretty exciting, huh?

Next up is the Athletics event.

You're gonna love it.

[whistle blows]

[panting]

with the prize.

for "Best in Show" for the dog

most deserving of the honor.

[whines]

I'm sorry, buddy.
You did a great job,

even if you didn't get
to finish the competition.

-[cheering]

Ace, you may not have
finished the competition,

but we just saw you perform

all the same jumps,
dodges and leaps

to keep the prize trophy safe.

we judge you
