As bad as that fire was, it could have been a lot worse.

The smoke detector wasn't working.

It should have gone off the second there was any smoke.

Oh, dear! Can you fix it?

I just need to replace the battery.

But, it would be a good idea to do a fire safety check

of every building in town.

Every building?!

Well, that's a lot to do all on your own, Marshall.

Well, I don't have to do it on my own

if Adventure Bay gets its own fire department!

Yep, Marshall and I have been thinking about it for a while.

This room has all the tech we need

to monitor the town and keep everyone safe.

Adventure Bay needs a big fire safety upgrade.

We've got fire extinguishers to fill,

smoke detectors to check--

And, when you're done, lots of delicious barbecue to eat!

- Huh? - Yummy!

- Barbecue? - Really?

That's right. To show our gratitude,

the town is throwing a big barbecue party

right here, at the fire station,

and you pups will be the guests of honor.

I think my tummy's more fired up than we are.

The coals must've been a lot hotter than I thought.

I'd better call the PAW Patrol.

[Phone beeping]

Good thing we have some time to chill out

before the big barbecue.

But where's Marshall? He's got next game, doesn't he?

Ryder and I still have to put this hose away.

[Pup Pad ringing]

- [Beeping] - RYDER: Hi, Mr. Porter.

We're excited to see what you cooked up for us today.

Unfortunately, all I've cooked up is a big, big problem.

My grill crashed and a bunch of hot coals fell out!

I didn't see where they all went,

but one started a fire in the esplanade.

You have to be careful when you cook with coals.

If they're still hot, they can start a fire.

Oh, Grandpa also spilled slippery BBQ sauce

all over Town Square.

[Laughing sheepishly]

Don't worry, everyone. Help is on the way.

No coals are too hot, no pup is too small!

[Pup Pad chiming, beeping]

[Alarm sounding, bell ringing]

PAW Patrol, to the fire rescue command center!

PUPS: Ryder needs us!

Mr. Porter's grill spilled some hot coals

and a lot of barbecue sauce.

Oh. Now there's a fire and a mess.

At least it sounds like a delicious mess.

Delicious or not, it's up to us to fix it.

So, for this mission, I'll need Marshall.

You have more firefighting experience than anyone.

I need you to take point and use the mega water cannon

on your new fire truck.

Show us how it's done.

I'm fired up to lead the team.

Next, I'll need Rubble.

You can use your new dump truck

to dump sand on Mr. Porter's grill.

We have to make sure all the hot coals inside

are out for good.

Rubble on the double for red-hot trouble!

And Rocky, I need you to clean up

all that barbecue sauce

with the vacuum on your new hazard tanker.

The rest of you should get to your vehicles too.

There's no telling how big this emergency could get.
