[chuckles]

ARF is excited, too!

chugga, choo, choo!
-[horn blows]

What a nice evening
to take a tour on this
pet friendly dinner train.

[chuckles, sniffs]

Ooh! Speaking of dinner,
it smells delicious!

While we wait,
what do you say

we check out
that puppy playground car

I've heard so much about?

This train has
a playground for puppies?

I didn't think I could
love trains any more,

but I do, I really do!

Have fun, fellas!

And keep an ear out
for that dinner bell.

[chuckles]

I'm a puppy conductor!
-Bingo/Rolly: Ah!

Of course

ARF is recording Bingo's
train-tastic puppy board stunt.

[grunting]

[chuckles]

All the dinners and dog treats
have just disappeared!

[all gasping]

The-the food? Gone?

That's impossible!

I hope someone
finds that food soon

or else there'll be a lot
of sad, empty tummies.

you don't need to be sad.

We'll figure this out.

I'm sorry, fellas.

[sighs]
It's a total mystery.

Why is it whenever
you pups are around,

things go horribly,
horribly wrong...

-[growls] Yeah.

Bob said he wished someone
would find the food soon.

This calls for a mission:

solve the mystery
of the lost dinners.

You're gonna try
to solve a mystery?

Like detectives?

Yeah! Like detectives!

Then you gotta
dress the part!

Keia:

You make a dashing detective.

Clawseau:
Well, there you are.

We ran out
of detective costumes.

-Now, let's go find
some clues.
-Clues?

A clue is anything
that might help us

figure out where the food is.

And where might
those clues be?

[horn blowing]

The kitchen car.

The last place
the food was seen.

Ah, the kitchen.
My favorite clue area.

Look out for anything strange.

Like a dinosaur
riding a tricycle?

'Cause that'd be more
awesome than strange.

And I'm pretty sure a dinosaur
wouldn't fit in this kitchen.

Oh, guess I talked myself
right out of that one.

[sniffing] No clues here.

-[Rufus groans]
-No clues here. [barks]

-Huh?
-Rufus!

[sniffing]

I have no clue where
the clues could be, Bingo!

Well, not every mystery
is meant to be solved.

You could always get food later.

Uh, at your homes.

You know, not here.

But if we don't find
the food now,

Bob and everyone on this train
are gonna have hungry tummies.

Ah, but we haven't
found any clues.

[Keia gasps]
I found a clue!

Why are we staring
at the floor?

We're not,

we're staring
at those paw prints.

[gasps] Paw prints!

Wait. Why are
paw prints a clue?

Elementary, my dear Rolly.

It means whoever took
the dinners... has paws.

[all gasping]

[dramatic music playing]

[thunder clapping]

If we find someone
who has paws,

then we'll find
the dinner thief!

Keia has paws!

[gasps] Oh, no!
I have paws, too!

Everyone here has paws!

Even ARF has robo-paws!

Oh, what does it all mean?

I believe, Master Rolly,

it means that
the dinner thief...

could be any one of us!

[all gasping]

[horn blowing]

♪ Whodunnit? ♪

♪ Wha-wha, a-oo ♪

♪ Whodunnit? ♪

♪ Who ran off
with all the snacks? ♪

♪ And left us nothing to eat ♪

♪ Pups, I believe it's time
to start the formal inquiry ♪

Now where were you
between the hours

of 12 and 12:02 p.m.?

I don't know, I'm a dog,
I can't tell time.

Hm... suspicious.

♪ Whodunnit? ♪

♪ Let's follow the clues ♪

♪ Like this path
of puppy tracks ♪

♪ Heading back
to the caboose ♪

♪ Whodunnit? ♪

♪ Now, one of these dogs ♪

♪ Knows something
they're not saying ♪

♪ About what's going on ♪

-♪ Was it you? ♪
-[growls]

-♪ How 'bout you? ♪
-♪ No sirree! ♪

♪ Which of these pups
could it be? ♪

♪ Whodunnit? ♪

[horn blowing]

Clawseau:
I dare say, the trail
has gone quite cold.

I dare say, it's quite
toasty in here.

-Toast. Food.
-[stomach growls]

I just got hungrier.

He means that
the paw prints have stopped.

What do we do now?

We've searched all over
this train,

and I'm even more confused
than when we started.

Perhaps we should give up
on this trifle of a mystery.

It's not a fun dinner train
if there's no dinner.

Don't suppose you'll be
wanting to come back

after all this, eh?

Definitely not.

No food. No fun.

-Yeah! No food--
-[stomach growls]

It's okay, tummy.

We'll get off this train
soon and--

[stomach growling]

I'm hungry, too.

Hmph! My tummy never
would make silly sounds like--

[stomach growling]

Never mind. [chuckles]

-And there I go, too.

Wait! That's it!
Another clue!

Our tummies usually grumble
when we're hungry.

But our dinner thief's tummy
probably wouldn't grumble
because--

Because they ate the food!

Brilliant
detective work, Bingo!

And the only one whose
tummy didn't grumble was--

Miss Keia!

-[gasps]
-Keia?

The dinner thief?
How could you?

I didn't.

Oh, okay then.
Wait...

Why isn't your tummy
grumbling?

Just before the dinner bell,

I ate my only
back-up dog treat

so I'm not
that hungry right now.

If Keia didn't
take the food,

which one of us
is the dinner thief?

There's still one other
tummy that didn't grumble.

-[all gasp]
-Who?

[whispering]:
I think he means you.

Where were you
before the bell rang?

ARF was taking a video
of Bingo's train-tastic

bounce boarding stunt
before the dinner bell.

So, ARF cannot be the thief.

Wait! ARF, stop!

Rewind a few seconds, please.

Bingo:
Look at the video, everyone.

This seems to show
all of us playing before
the dinner bell, except...

Except... where's Rolly?

Oh, dear.

Rolly was not in
the playground car

right before Bingo's stunt.

Rolly?

Did you steal the dinners?

Of course not, Bingo.

I'd never do that.

I want everyone to have food.

I'm an equal opportunity eater.

Do you believe him,
Master Bingo?

[whimpering]

I believe you, Rolly.
You're my brother.

Brother's should always
tell each other the truth.

True that!
Thanks, brother.

Wait, why were you out
of the playground car
at that time?

I was... I had to use
the puppy potty.

When you gotta go,
you gotta go.

Mm-hmm.

Okay, everyone.

We still have
a mystery to solve

and dinners to--
[gasps] ARF!

Please pause it, ARF.

I see me, Rolly, Keia
Cupcake and Rufus.

But I don't see...

This doggie's... gotta dash!

Clawseau is the dinner thief!

How did we not smell
all that food?

Yummy food that you'll
never get to eat!

He's getting away
with the dinners!

Bingo, what are we gonna--

[grunting]

[cat screeching]

Oh, dear.

-[all gasping]
-Whoa.

[whimpers, meows]

-Whoa!
-Clawseau is a cat?

Now that's what
I call a twist!

I, uh...

-[screeches]
-Going somewhere?

[thunder rumbles]

Oh.

There's one thing
I don't understand.

One thing?

Why'd you do it, Clawseau?

I must... confess.

I didn't want to share.

Share the dinners?

No, the train.

My owner is the train conductor

and I used to be
the only pet on this train.

-[laughing]
-It is lovely,
I'll give you that.

I thought if I ruined
the dinners,

no one would come back,

and I could have
the train to myself again.

You know, sometimes,
when you share things you love,

it makes those things
even more special.

To tell you the truth,
I did rather enjoy

playing on my train
with you today.

I... I'm sorry, pups.

That's okay, Clawseau.

Now we just need
to get the food back

to Bob and his friends.

Mm! What a delicious dinner!

Mm... Nummers!

Mm. Nummers!

Well, Detective Rolly,
we found the missing dinners

and made a new friend.

I'd call that a mission
accomplished, Detective Bingo.

Meow, puppy friends!
Meow indeed.

[all giggling]

Bingo/Rolly:
"O Brother, Where ARF Thou?"

Come back here! That way!

Now that way! Ahh!

[panting]

Whew! I think this might be
my number one favorite toy

Bob has ever invented.

Me too!
What do you think, ARF?

ARF thinks the puppies
should make a mess.

ARF is programmed to clean up,

so ARF loves messes!

And we love
making messes, but--

This toy is even more fun
than mess-making.

Nothing can stop you,
wheely bone!

[gasps] Wheely bone!

Don't worry, we just gotta
wind the gears back up,

like Bob showed us.

-[gears winding]
-[Bingo grunting]

Ooh! ARF has windy gears, too!

Cool! You're like
our favorite ARF

and our favorite
wheely bone

all rolled into one.

[grunting]
One... more... twist!

Wheely bone's back in business!

[puppies giggling]

If ARF can't help
Bingo and Rolly,

maybe ARF can help
someone else.

Hmm. ARF already cleaned
Olivia's fish bowl,

and Hissy's napping spot.

Good morning! [chuckles]
I'm off to work.

[puppies barking]

-Hi, Bob.
-Thanks for the wheely bone!

ARF will help Bob
make his lunch!

A healthy lunch
for a healthy Bob!

Oh, thanks, ARF,
but I'm all set.

Too-da-loo, pupperoos!

-Bye, Bob.
-We'll miss you!

Bob did not need
ARF's help either.

[sighs sadly]

Hey, ARF? We need some help.

ARF loves to help!

Can you wind up our toy
so it'll go fast?

Extra super fast?

Ready...
[grunts] set...
yeah! Here ARF goes!

[laughing]

That was extra
super fast, all right.

We'll never be able
to catch that!

-[crashing]
-ARF will help.

ARF will bring back the toy.

-Woo-hoo! Yeah, go ARF!
-Yeah, catch that wheely bone!

[panting]

It doesn't usually
take ARF this long

to find things in the yard.

Let's go see if
he needs help.

-ARF?
-He's not here!

ARF:
Come in, Bingo and Rolly.

ARF got the toy!
Just one problem.

ARF is low on...
batteries...

What?
ARF, where are you?

ARF isn't sure...

ARF sees red...
blue... and brown...

-[boat horn blares]
-ARF is shutting... down--

ARF? ARF? ARF!

ARF's lost, Bingo!

What're we gonna do?

The only thing we can do.

Go on a mission to find him.

But we're gonna
need some help.

-Hissy, wake up!
-Hissy! Hissy! Hissy!

-What?
-Hissy! Hissy! Hissy!

Hissy! Hissy! Hissy!

What's with the bouncing?

You gotta come. On a mission.
A real important mission.

[sighs] And I've got
a real important nap.

Starting now.

But it's ARF, and he's out
of batteries and he's lost,

and we don't know
how to find him!

[gasps] ARF's lost?

What are we waiting for?

-[sighs]

Um, yeah! ARF's family.
Where do we start?

ARF said he was someplace
red and blue and brown,

but we dunno what someplace
he was talking about.

He left wheel tracks!
Maybe we can follow those!

Olivia? What are--

Looks like Olivia wants
to help find her brother, too!

Family road trip!

without us before.

Bingo:
Yeah! These tracks'll lead
us right to him.

♪ His batteries are drained
and he's all alone ♪

Poor ARF.

♪ Been looking for him all day ♪

-♪ And guess what ♪
-♪ What? ♪

to bring our brother home ♪

-♪ Nobody can stop us ♪

♪ We'll keep searching
all over town ♪

Huh. The tracks didn't
lead us right to ARF,

they just led us
right to this puddle!

The puddle must've cleaned
the mud off his wheels

when he splashed through it.

And no mud means
no muddy tracks,

which means no way
to find ARF.

[sighs] I'm so sad,

I can't even enjoy
this puddle.

[laughing]

I mean, okay,
maybe a little bit.

Even without tracks,
we can still find ARF.

We'll just look for a place
that's red, blue, and brown.

ARF's not in the paint store.

-Or the yarn store.
-Or the toy store.

Or any of the billion
other places with
red, blue, and brown

that we've been
checking all day.

[all sighing]

You know who'd be really good
at knowing where to find ARF?

All:
ARF.

[sighs]

And at this rate,

we're gonna reach the ocean
before we find him.

The ocean?
[gasps]

Wait, wait, wait, that's it!

Bingo, what happened
after ARF told us

he was in a red and blue
and brown place?

ARF:
ARF sees red, blue,
and brown.

-[boat horn blares]
-Both: A boat horn!

And I know where
to find boat horns.

The ocean?

The blue ocean.

Good thinking, brother.

We're coming, ARF!

We got blue ocean,
we got brown dock...

But we got no red
and no ARF.

[splashing loudly]

Just a second, Olivia.

We're trying to look for ARF.

[splashing loudly]

It's really had to concentrate
with all that splashing.

ARF!

Bingo/Rolly:
ARF!

Rolly:
We got you, ARF!

We don't got you, ARF.

I'm not losing you again,
robo-brother.

We gotta jump it.

Jump... onto the boat?

You know,
the more you talk,

the further away
the boat gets.

Can't argue with that.

[all yelling]

[heroic music playing]

[all yelling]

-Ahh!
-Whoops!

-Bingo!
-Hang on!

Whoa!

We made it!

Come on, ARF!
We're going home.

ARF?

Maybe, if we can get him
in the wagon,

we can pull him home?

Ooh, good idea.

[all grunting]

He's too heavy!

I wish we could just
wind him up like our toy.

Maybe that's exactly
what we have to do.

Remember?

Bingo:
ARF showed us
his windy gears!

If we can twist ARF's gears
like our toy,

I bet we can make him zip
like our toy, too.

One twister comin' right up.

Wait, guys!
You love that toy.

If you take the twister out,
it won't zip anymore.

For ARF, that's a risk
we're willing to take.

Go for it, Rolly!

[grunts]
It's too hard to twist!

[grunting]
One... more... twist!

[powering up]

Bingo?

And Rolly and Hissy
and Olivia!

ARF's family is here!

But where is ARF?

You're on a red boat

in the blue ocean
by a brown dock.

You powered down, and then
you almost floated away.

But we came to find you.

But ARF's batteries,
how did you--

Oh.

Bingo and Rolly took apart
their favorite toy for ARF?

We'd do anything
for our family.

[whimpering]

Hissy:
The warm and fuzzies
are all fine,

but how are we
getting off this boat?

No way I'm swimming.

Then ARF is happy to help!

Ready, set...
here ARF goes!

[gentle music playing]

[celebratory music playing]

Yeah!

Go long, ARF!

ARF is going... going...

Well, hey, puppy pa-- [yells]

Oh no! The twister's broken
on your wheely bone!

Oh, you guys love this thing.

I'll go fix it up
right now, good as new.

What do you say?

-I say, "Thanks, Bob!"
-I say, "Yay, wheely bone!"

[puppies barking]

Oh, it's so good
to see you guys

at the end of a long day.

[chuckles]
I wouldn't trade
this family for anything.

Me neither.

Not for the whole world.

[all giggling]
