I'm pretty sure breakfast
is one of my favorite meals
of the day.

It definitely ties for first
with lunch and...

Let's see... dinner!

Do you have to make such a mess
when you're eating?

No. But it's more fun
when we do.

Hey there, pup stars.

I see you started breakfast.

It's time for my breakfast, too.

-Breakfast time!
-[barking]

I can't wait to make myself
a couple of pieces
of French toast.

Let's see, just need to find
what I need to make it.

Some eggs, some milk,
and--

[gasping]

Oh, no!
I'm out of bread!

I can't make French toast
without bread!

Well, that ruins
this morning! [growls]

I'm sorry, guys.

I get as grumpy as a bear
if I don't have French toast.

Well, I'll see you after work,
when hopefully I won't
be so... [growls]

[door slams shut]

Did you hear that? Bob said
he gets grumpy like a bear

if he doesn't have
French toast.

Imagine what
that would be like.

Oh, I love to imagine.

[snoring]

[keys jangle]

Bob: Bingo! Rolly!
I'm home!

-Bob!
-Hi, Bob!

-Who are you?
-Where's our Bob?

I'm Bob!

But this is what happens
when I don't have French toast!

I get as grumpy
as one of these.

[growling]

I don't want Bob
being a bear.

I want Bob
being a Bob.

Then we've gotta find
what he needs to make
French toast, fast!

Both:
Let's go!

[laughing, barking]

♪ On your bark,
get ready, got a lot to do ♪

-♪ It's gonna be
an awesome adventure ♪
-Rolly: Whoa!

-♪ We're super duper
extra overly excited ♪
-[grunting]

♪ To be going on a mission,
going on a mission ♪

Rolly/Bingo:
Five, four, three, two, one!

Okay, our mission
is to bring home

the best kind
of French toast-makin'
bread for Bob,

and I think I know
where to look.

Great.
I'm ready to go.

Wait.
I'm not ready to go.

Gotta have my squeaky toy,
in case we ever need
a squeaky toy.

[toy squeaking]

-Whoo-hoo!
-[laughing]

♪ Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba ♪

-♪ We're going on a mission,

-Rolly: Yahoo!

Don't you just
love France, Frank?

So many French
things to see,

like the Eiffel Tower
right there!

I wish there was a French
merry-go-round there,

so I can ride
an up-and-down horsey.

Hmm, I'm not sure
where we're supposed
to start looking

for what we're supposed
to be looking for.

Ooh, this guidebook
says there's a bakery
near here, Frank,

that has the best
French bread in the city!

Sounds yummy. Lead the way,
and my tum-tum will follow.

Follow that tum-tum!

Huh? Where's all the bread?
I thought this bakery
sold bread?

Yeah, all I see is stuff
that dripped out of my nose.

And there's a way
whole lot of it.

[door bells jingle]

I am sorry,
we have no bread today.

Well, that's
just crumby!

I made fresh bread yesterday
and put it out to cool.

But when I went to get it,
it was gone!

I am making more
as quickly as I can.

Are you puppies looking
for French bread,
like everyone else?

Yeah, otherwise Bob's
gonna be all... [growls]
"Where's my French toast?"

I don't get why everyone
is so upset.

I mean, if it was birdseed
that was missing,

muwah, I'd understand,

because we pigeons
love that stuff.

-[door bells jingle]
-Oh!

Oh, no!

Police detective.
Did I hear someone say,
"Oh, no"?

I had more bread
cooling outside,
but it's gone.

Are there any clues
about who might have
taken it?

I did see some tiny footprints
leading away from where
the bread used to be.

Did you hear that, Rolly?
Somebody's been taking
the bread Bob needs

for his French toast!

Which means we've gotta
find out who took it.

How are we gonna do that?

We're gonna follow the clues.

Starting with,
they left tiny footprints.

None of those big feet
would've left tiny footprints.

But those tiny feet would have!

[squeaking]

Stop,
in the name of the paw!

[squeaking]

[gasps]
What? Huh?

Those tiny feet really
move those tiny bodies fast!

Ooh!

Rolly!

What are you--?

Both:
Mmm!

[both panting]

Time's up! Let's go!

[mice squeaking]

If those mice get away,
we'll never find the bread

Bob needs to make
French toast.

They're not getting away.

[squeaking]

Thanks to that awesome

somersault boom thing
my brother did. Boom!

We've got you now,
you tiny-footed
bread-takers!

We did not take any bread.

Then why were
you running away?

Because we were being chased
by two scary-looking dogs.

Scary dogs?
Where'd they go?

We are talking about you.

-Oh.
-Both:
Sorry.

You say more of your bread
is missing?

Oui, oui.
I heard a flapping noise,

and when I went to look,
my fresh batch was gone.

A flapping noise...
that's another clue.

Do you know
what it means?

Yes, I know what the word
"clue" means!

That's one
of the first things

they teach us
at detective school.

Hmm, a flapping noise.

-What do you think might've
made a flapping noise?
-[quacks]

-Duck!
-I'm ducking!

No, the other kind of duck.

Put the clues together:

tiny feet, flapping sound.

The ducks are the ones
who are taking the bread!

Hey, you flappy-sounding,
tiny-footed bread-takers!

Bob can't have French toast
because of you!

[quacking]

Oh, no,
they're getting away!

How are
we gonna stop 'em?

-[thuds]
-[screeches]

I think
we got 'em stopped.

-[rustling]
-[quacks]

We've got you now,
you bread-taking quackers!

Yeah! We followed
all of the clues

that led to your
flapping sounds
and tiny feet.

Well, we do make
flapping sounds,
and our feet are tiny.

-So you admit it.
-But they're also webbed.

None of the clues
said anything about webbed feet.

That's because
we didn't take anything.

Then why were you
running away?

Because two scary-looking dogs
were chasing us!

What? Where?

I think she means us.

-Oh.
-Both:
Sorry.

-My bread was taken again.
-[sniffing]

And I saw tiny footprints
and heard flapping, like before.

But there was also a trail
of bread crumbs

leading away
from the bakery!

Bread crumbs?

Huh! Mon dieu ,
if only there were clues
I could actually follow!

Did you hear that, Rolly?
Bread crumbs!

So all we have to do
is follow that trail
wherever it leads.

[both sniffing]

And that trail leads
right up this tower.

Which means whoever took
that bread is probably
up there right now

with all the bread
that Bob needs to make
his French toast!

So there's one thing
we have to do!

Both:
Race ya!

Bingo/Rolly:
♪ The race is on ♪

Bingo:
Come and get me,
little brother!

♪ The race is on ♪

Here I come!

-Bingo: ♪ Race to
the front of the pack ♪
-♪ I'm gonna get ya ♪

Both:
♪ Rolling, rumbling,
flipping, fumbling ♪

♪ Barreling down the track ♪

-♪ The race is on ♪

I thought those bread crumbs
were leading us to?

Someone's been hiding
French bread behind the top
of this tower!

Those sneaky
little bread-hiders!

But we still don't know
who's been hiding it here.

Maybe we should ask
those pigeons who are
hiding it here.

Uh-oh, it looks like
we got caught bread-handed.

How did you figure it out?

'Cause we followed the clues.

Yes, we're sorry.
We just got tired

of people feeding us
bread in the park.

So we hid it here,

hoping they would feed us
birdseed instead.

Well, why didn't you
just not eat the bread
they were feeding you?

Yeah. Then people
will feed you birdseed
like you want.

Mwuh! That is one
really good idea.

Bread for sale!

Now that no one
is stealing my bread,

there is plenty
of French bread
for everyone!

Aww, you cute puppies
look like you want
some bread, oui?

I can never say no
to cute puppies.

I don't know why everyone kept
feeding bread to these pigeons.

They like our birdseed
a whole lot more.

Which means there's more
bread for my tum-tum.

Hey, guys!

[barking]

Bingo: Bob, look what
we brought you!

[barking]

Hey! Bread!

Ah! Mm!

What a treat!

Bob seems really happy

that you found bread
for his French toast.

Now he won't be all...
[growls] like a bear.

Ooh, Hissy, your scary bear face
is even better than Rolly's.

This is my normal face.

Oh. Sorry.

[laughing]

Bingo:
"Take Me Out to the Pug Game."

Okay, first one to the stick
gets to take it to Bob.

Which is why I'm gonna be
the first one there.

-On your bark...
-Get set...

Both:
Go!

[panting]

[grunts]

[growling]

-Let go!
-You let go!

Whoa! [grunts]

[growls]

Maybe we should both
take the stick to Bob?

I'll go along with that.

[both grunting]

Bingo:
This could take a while.

Here it is, Hissy!

[chuckles]
The baseball I caught
when my favorite player,

Teddy Peppercorn,
hit his very first home run,

and I was at the stadium
to catch it.

Oh, I could stare
at this ball all day.

[both grunting]

We did it!

-Bob, Bob!
-Let's play fetch!

-[barking]
-Hey, there, dog-erinos.

You lookin' for someone
to throw that stick?

Aw, I wish I had time,
but I'm heading out

to buy stuff for the big game
that's on TV.

So it's a good thing
I invented this!

[laughs] It's an automatic
fetch machine!

You put whatever
you wanna fetch right here,

press this button, and...

Both:
Cool!

I got it!

[laughs] Have fun playing
with that fetch machine

-till I get back!
-[front door closes]

[sniffing]

What else besides this stick
do you think we could put
in this machine?

Bob said whatever we want.

Wait a second.

That thing is perfect.

Yeah, we love chasing ba*ls.
They're so rolly!

[both laughing]

I said my name.

What are you guys doin'?

-We're gonna play fetch.
-With something that's rolly!

-[both laughing]
-I did it again!

Wait a minute.
What are you guys doing
with Bob's special baseball?

Bob's special what?

No!

-[ball thuds]
-Woman: Oh! Hey!
Watch it, up there!

That was the baseball
that Teddy Peppercorn hit

and Bob caught and could stare
at all day long!

Bob's gonna be so sad
if he comes home

and that ball's not here.

Then Rolly and I are gonna
make it our mission

to make sure
that that ball is here.

How are we gonna do that?

You and I are
gonna play fetch.

Rolly/Bingo:
♪ We gotta get that ball ♪

♪ Back where it belongs ♪

♪ Brother,
move your paws ♪

♪ I'm gonna fetch it
Ooh, I'm gonna fetch it ♪

Both:
♪ Fast as you can
along the sidewalk ♪

♪ Watch it,
I'm comin' through ♪

♪ This is what puppies
were made to do ♪

Both:
♪ We gotta get that ball
Get that ball, woo-hoo ♪

-Bingo: ♪ We gotta get that ball
-♪ I'm gonna fetch it
Ooh, I'm gonna fetch it ♪

Both:
♪ Back home safe and sound ♪

♪ I was born a dog ♪

Hey, I'm a dog, too!

Both:
♪ And I can't help
chasing ba*ls around ♪

Bingo:
♪ Watch it, I'm coming through

♪ This is what puppies
are supposed to do ♪

Okay, Rolly.

Both:
♪ We gotta get ball
Get that ball, woo-hoo ♪

Ooh, whoa, oh, whaa...

Oh!

Whoa, that made me dizzy.

Let's do it again!

Rolly, no!
Our mission is to get
Bob's baseball before it...

...goes into that elevator!

What do we do now?

[elevator chimes]

[humming]

-Mm?
-[snorting, panting]

Hmm. Huh?

[elevator chimes]

The baseball's
in that bucket.

Then that bucket
is on my list.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

So... that just happened.

What do we do now, Bingo?

Time to collar up!

Bob put these harnesses
in our collars for when
we play at home!

I don't think he'd mind
that we're using them now.

I think he'd love
that we're using them now!

What are we using them
for now?

Rolly:
Ya-hoo!

Bingo:
Detach!

-Ya-hoo!
-Wee! [laughs]

[grunts]

It's bow-wow time.

[grunts]

-Sorry.
-That's okay.

It wasn't the best time
for bow-wow, anyway.

What are you two doing here?

Leave us alone, Cupcake.

-We're on a mission.
-Yeah, we're fetching
Bob's baseball.

Well, I wouldn't
want to get in your way.

Which is why I'll have Rufus
get in your way for me.

[giggles]

[Rufus growling]

[chuckling]

Go Rufus, go!

Hey, give it back!

He's such a little meanie,
isn't he?

Okay, got some chips
and my fruit smoothies
for the game.

Just need to make
a quick stop at the-- Yikes!

Whoa! And he's okay!

[panting]

[barking]

[muttering]

[chuckling]

Bingo:
Hey! Give us our ball
back, Rufus!

[chuckling]

[babbling]

Huh?

Aw. Hmph.

[barking]

[giggling]

[barking]

Both:
Huh?

[barking]

[panting]

Rufus can be a very bad dog
when I tell him to be.

Really sticks to his task.

As long as he doesn't
get distracted by a--

Squirrel!

[screams]

No! Bad dog, Rufus!

Bad!

I got it!

This has got to be
the hardest game of fetch
we have ever played.

Oh, no!

Hello, down there!

Anybody see
a ball down there?

This is bad. That drain
could lead anywhere.

If only we knew someone
who knew where that drain
drains out to.

Rolly, we do!

[laughs]

Well, you guys came
to see the right
junkyard dog.

I can tell you
where pretty much
anything is.

This map shows
where all the drains come out.

You say that ball
rolled in here?

Yeah, after we chased it
through the street and up
an elevator,

and out of mean
ol' Rufus's mouth.
[raspberry]

Sounds like an impressive
game of fetch.

We're on a mission.

Oh. Uh... Right.

Okay, so...
if we follow this drain,

through this pipe,
up, back and around,

that baseball
you're lookin' for

should be comin' out,
right about, here.

-Look at that!
-Bulworth was right.
It came out right there.

[grunts]

You can be the one
to pick it up if you want to.

I do want to!

Umpire:
Play ball!

Wait! What?

That guy took
Bob's baseball!

Well, it is fun to play with,
the way it's so rolly. [giggles]

Announcer:
Hello, baseball fans,

and welcome
to Teddy Peppercorn Day.

And now let's
give a big welcome
to our special guest,

Teddy Peppercorn!

-[crowd cheering]
-Isn't that Bob's
favorite player?

Yeah, and they're giving him
Bob's favorite ball!

Announcer:
Before the game starts,

Teddy is going to recreate
his very first home run.

First, he's signing his name
on the ball.

Then he's going to hit it out
of the park for some lucky fan
to find and keep forever.

What did that announcer say?

Something about Mr. Peppercorn
hitting that ball out
of the park.

-Look at that baseball go!
-Wow! That's a really
solid swing!

Got his whole body behind it.

Announcer:
Whoever finds that baseball
with Teddy's signature on it,

is going to be one happy fan!

We're gonna find
that baseball.

And Bob's the fan
who'll be happy.

Rolly/Bingo:
♪ We gotta get that ball ♪

-♪ Back where it belongs ♪
-[car alarms blaring]

Bingo:
♪ Brother, move your paws ♪

[barking]

Both: ♪ Fast as you can,
along the sidewalk ♪

♪ Watch it!
I'm comin' through ♪

Bingo:
♪ This is what puppies
were made to do ♪

♪ We gotta get that ball
Get that ball, woo-hoo ♪

Here it is!

On your bark, get set--

-♪ I am going
to watch baseball ♪
-Bob!

♪ With my cat and my dogs ♪

We have to get that ball
back inside before Bob sees
that it isn't there.

♪ Got my smoothies of fruit ♪

♪ And some fingers
made of foam ♪

Baseball fan in the house!

Oh, hey, there.

Well, looks like
you've been having fun

-with that fetch machine, huh?
-[barking]

Hey, is that
my special baseball?

Well, I can see why you'd
wanna play with that.

It's so rolly.

[laughs]
Hey, I said your name!

[giggles]

But right now,
it's time to watch the game!

I love thinkin' about the day
I caught this ball.

Hey! Teddy Peppercorn
wrote his name here!

Well, I guess I never
turned this thing all the way
around before

to see that it was there!

You know, I should take
you guys to a ballpark
someday, I bet you'd love it!

Of course, you'd probably
wanna run around chasin'
every ball

that was hit out
of the park. [laughs]

Announcer:
It's a long fly ball
to center field...

going, going, gone!
Home run!

Bob:
Woo-hoo! Yay!

[Rolly/Bingo barking]
