- It's another royal morning here in Royal Woods.

The sun's out, it's a beautiful day,

and we're all feeling in a family way.

So enjoy this last day of summer, y'all.

- Today is a huge day.

After three months, Clyde is finally returning

from French camp, just in time

for the last day of summer.

- ♪ We are family - Oh, turn it up.

♪ ♪

- ♪ I got all my sisters with me ♪

- [laughs] I love this song!

- [grunting rhythmically]

[shrieks]

- You missed a spot.

- Clyde's bus is about to drop him off.

And when it does, Clincoln McCloud is gonna pack

an entire summer of fun into one day.

[horn honks]

And there he is.

[joyful music]

- Does that mean "Let's do this"?

- Oui. - Does that mean "Yes"?

- Yes. - Then let's do this.

Time for fun.

- Hey!

There they are, the boys of summer!

You guys want to join in? - Not now, Dad.

I love my family more than anything,

but we're on a mission.

both: Heads-up.

both: Aah! - [laughs]

- Water balloon fight?

Check.

both: Lincoln, look, we got our tee--

- No time, ladies. Booked and busy.

Nothing says summer like an unattended bowl

of jelly beans.

- What are you doing?

- We're packing an entire summer

into one day. - Ow!

- We're bound to break some rules.

- Don't eat that!

- Don't listen to her, Clyde.

We're making memories today.

- Quite the contrary.

Those are memory-erasing jelly beans.

I made them for Mr. Nibbles, because he's mastered my maze,

and I don't want to build a new one.

If he can't remember his way out,

that means the beans work.

- So if Mr. Nibbles can't complete the maze,

that means his memory is erased.

And since Lincoln ate the jelly beans,

his memory would be gone too.

[suspenseful music]

- Precisely.

♪ ♪

[Mr. Nibbles squeaking]

- Wow, this is a very suspenseful moment.

♪ ♪

By the way, who are you people?

[together] Hey, Lincoln. It's me, Dad.

Hi, buddy.

Ah. - Clincoln McCloud?

So what do you think, Doc?

- The tiny scientist is right.

His memory is gone.

In medical terms, it's called

acute onset anterograde amnesia.

I'm afraid there's nothing I can do.

I'm sorry, son.

- That's okay, Dad.

- I'm not your dad.

Well, if you folks will excuse me,

I've got a backyard belly flop contest to win.

- No, no. Wait, wait.

You can't leave. [all protesting]

Isn't there anything we can do to make you stay?

- Well, according

to the nation's leading medical experts,

listening to and performing music can tap into memories

which reactivate areas of the brain

associated with memory.

- Oh. So we just need to sing to him?

- Yes.

[together] Oh, we can do that.

- But based on the number of jelly beans he's eaten,

bringing his memory back is a near-impossible task.

- Well, we're the Louds.

We don't know the meaning of the word "impossible."

- Does it mean, like, extra-possible?

- That's right, Leni. - Hmm.

- The Louds are about to do the extra-possible.

Lisa, how many jelly beans did he eat?

- , , , .

I'm gonna get the costume box.

- Maybe a tour would jog his memory.

- Let's start with your bedroom.

- Yeah! - That's a good idea.

- It may appear you live in a closet, but rest assured,

you requested the smallest room.

- Oh, I thought we tricked him into taking that.

[phone ringing]

- Leni.

- Hey, babe. Have you told 'em yet?

Can I come in and celebrate?

- So turns out there's not really a right time

to tell your parents that you are quitting college

and moving back home.

[sighs]

- She hasn't told them yet.

You guys can go.

[despondent music]

- You have to remember this.

It's your favorite stuffed animal, Bun-Bun.

- You remember my future boyfriend Edwin?

[cowbell clanging]

- Hear that? It's one of Dad's cowbells.

He loves to jam with us.

- Uh... - [gasps] Taste this!

It's one of my patented lemon bars.

It's your favorite snack.

- Dude, seriously, take a whiff.

You gotta remember the smell of your own dirty underwear.

- Guys, guys, guys.

What are we doing?

We're supposed to be singing to him.

♪ Smell your dirty underwear ♪

No?

- Sigh.

- I got a better idea.

Todd, engage techno dance mode.

Funk factor, maximum plus .

- Drop a beat.

[upbeat techno music]

- This music isn't evoking nearly enough emotion

to bring his memory back.

We gotta get in there and show 'em what real talent is.

- Okay, but let's not make them feel bad about their songs.

- Honey, listen, over the last years,

we have sat through school musicals,

plays, recitals, one-woman shows,

three-woman shows, and Christmas spectaculars,

which, let's face it, weren't so spectacular.

- You're right, honey.

It's our time to shine, Broadway-style.

- We are gonna knock their socks off

with our showmanship. - [gasps]

They're gonna need shovels to pick their jaws up

off the floor.

[both laugh]

- But we'll also help Linc get his memory back.

- Oh, yeah, and that. - Yeah.

[upbeat music]

- Guess they don't teach public speaking at golf college.

- Lori, the sooner you tell your family you're moving
